The movie is basically groundhog day mix with interdimensional time travel

The killer is not as great as the last one. But they are trying to make something new here

They didn't explain the first scene in the movie. It was a plot point that didn't follow through
After Credits: Yes. Sadly there won't be a third movie
Verdict: If you like the first one, you are going to enjoy the second one.
