Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania

I don't get why the reviews are bad on this 

What is it about?
The Ant family are transported into the Quantum realm and there is a big new bad 

The Good 
The movie is very fast paced 
Ant-Man does grow a lot which is great
The scene with multiple of them is funny 

The Bad
Modok is not as how I picture it 
There is high steaks but I don't feel it that much. Probably because Ant-Man is a feel good movie 

The Ugly
Nothing. This movie actually wraps up

After Credits: Yup 2 of them 

Verdict: I'm 31 movies in. I'm going to watch the next one

Who knew everyone have pets

What is it about?
Superman pet dog krypto needs to learn how to be a good boy

The Good
There are some funny bits
The superheroes as small the interactions are, are still cool
The movie goes on fast

Nothing much. I did enjoy it

Batman the Audio Adventures Season 2

Cliffhanger.. Really don't like this

Episodes: 10

Is this season better: The first season is better and longer. This season is truncated with a lot of plot points left unresolved 

In the end: It doesn't end. There are like 5 different cliffhangers that we don't know what is the ending 

Jingles: There is still a couple of jingles. Very catchy

Verdict: You should listen to this. 

Avenue 5 season 2

Why did they cancel it 

Episodes: 8

Why it got cancelled: Shooting in covid time proves challenging and it was so long that the actors were release from their contacts 

So in the end: Nothing was resolve. We just hope that everything works from them in the end 

Should you still watch it: Probably not. The ending is a letdown

The Valet

A not so typical rom com

What is it about?
A valet is caught in an elaborate lie when he has to date a movie star

The Good
The movie shows that you don't need to be romantic to love someone. Sometimes all you need is family
Funny in moments
When it gets sad, it gets sad 
Samara weaving is damn pretty

They always end the movie when it starting to get good. I would see what happens next
A couple of plots can be left out

Vacation with the familly

On Saturday me and the family went on vacation in a place called "Dusun Bonda". This place is a 2 hour drive from where we at deep into native territory. This place is run by the natives and is very self sufficient. When we arrive there the weather was gloomy but the girls waste no time in jumping in the pool. Oh yeah we went with my wife cousin and his two nephews as well as her best friend with 3 of her kids. Around 5 we started to cook the barbeque which is consistent by lamb, chicken and corn. I cook beef rice from home as a side dish. After that we have cake and brownies and end up talking until close to 1am. This place has no signal that means that there is no internet and there is also no tv. Which means there is no way to connect with the outside world. The next day we were greeted with breakfast and we went to take river to take a bath. The water is freezing cold but once you dip your whole body in it. You are good to go. And the water is super great. I wish I didn't have to go out. We left at 12 and overall it was  an unforgettable trip. Love every moment of it  

Batman The Audio Adventures Season 1

Who says you can't enjoy a show without visuals

What is it about?
Batman is working with the GCPD to stop the bad guys

A show within a show within a show within a show
There are so many shows in this shows. A radio show, a Tv show, commercials, dreams, other people perspective 

Jingles: Absolutely funny and every episode relates back to the previous 

The dialogue: witty, even the batman is funny 

Verdict: You should listen to this. It is enjoyable 10 episodes

Avenue 5 season 1

This series is amazingly funny

What is it about?
A wrong move cause a space cruise ship to be stuck in space longer than expected 

Why this show rocks?
You never know what is going to happen. Every episode you'll be given a bombshell which is scary and funny at the same time
All the characters have a unique take on this crisis and is so funny 
Deaths... is scary but funny at the same time 

Would I want to be on a space cruise?
Nope... this thing could happen 

Episodes: 10 (season 2 is next)

Verdict: Don't skip on this. Watch it.

The Lost City

You can't go wrong with Sandra 

What is it about?
A book writer is caught in an adventure of a lifetime

I enjoyed it, some things are just not believable but it's a rom com

Tacoma FD Season 3

Love this underrated show 

What is it about?
The Antics of the fire station in Tacoma

Is there fires: Technically only one episode there is an actual fire. Most of them are just antics in the station

Cliffhanger: Yes. this was out in 2021. I just watched it. It more than a year and a new season is still not out.

Favorite character: Eddie Penesi 

Daytona USA Championship Circuit Edition

500th game finished

Finally moving on to the Sega Saturn. There are not many games on the Saturn that are consider worthy to play. But this game is a classic. I've played on the arcade and the home port controls exactly like the arcade version. Super hard. The cars handle poorly and one mistake will make you lose the race. Overall it is still and enjoyable game to play. Too bad after you play all the 5 tracks you are practically done with this game. I wonder do people last time have to play full price when buying games only to be short change on how short this is. B-Rank 

Game Boy Color

 

History 
I've never owned a Game Boy Color. I only seen it in magazine and thought having a color Game Boy is cool. 

The Games
The games range from all types of genre but in pocket form. Notably missing a lot of Nintendo games. But they do have Pokémon 

The Good 
Some of the games are fun to play but mostly on the racing and puzzle side. The animations is super smooth for a system with limited capabilities 

The Bad
A lot of the game are just blobs of color and doesn't translate well with the limited hardware. And yet they do it as well.

The Ugly
Faux 3D games that looks super ugly 

Conclusion
The Game Boy Color is a weird device. It is a transition device before the GBA. I don't think having it is great because most of the games suck. It was a good experience to play

Boomerang X

This game that test your spatial awareness

The game as the title involves a boomerang. You start of adrift on an island where you find a boomerang and explore the island while fighting hordes of enemies. That's basically the premise of the game. Explore and reach an area and then fight a wave of enemies. 

What I like about this game that is the boomerang mechanics is spot on. The throwing feels great and using it is fun. The boomerang comes with power up such as teleportation. slow down time and power
moves. The thing that makes this game so appealing even with minimal amount of gameplay is the art style. It looks like pastel colour old school graphics. It very soothing to the eye to watch and makes me want to explore everything 

There are some things that about this game make is sensory overwhelming. Especially when there are multiple enemies on screen on you need to take out the specific one. Things can get a bit daunting and you need to freeze time and have 10 seconds to do a quick take on where to go next. It get's too much at time and I need to take a break before continuing. The good news is that this game is short. Under 3 hours which is great since it doesn't over stay the welcome. 

Overall I finish the game until the credits. With their accessibility options makes this game even more fun to play. I give this game an A-Rank. A nice place over a couple of days  

Jerry & Marge Go Large

This is a 100% true story 

What is it about?
A retired man decided to exploit a loophole in the lottery system 

The Good
The movie is simple and ramps up quick 
Love how they do the math 
In the end it is a story about living to the fullest 

The Bad
Nothing much. This movie is perfect 

The Ugly
Nothing 

Fun Fact: This is based on a true story with the same name. They ended up winning up to 26 million dollars

Verdict: A must watch 

Station Eleven

A very beautiful story of hope 

What is it about?
A post apocalyptic world where everyone is trying to survive

Episodes: 10 

How is it?: It is slow and all over the place. There are some episodes that are great. There are some episode are a bit slow. 

Where did the thing started: My country and they didn't even do it correctly. I really hate that they think that my country is some backwater place. Is it really quite modern like most cities.

Verdict: Watch it but it's a bit slow and long winded.

Top Gear Pocket 2

This is really fun

Love this box art when I saw it at EGM and I think this game must be fun. This game for it's technical limitations is a fun game to play. The tracks are varied and you can upgrade the cars when you win a race. Single player is just a race in different season and that's about it. I give this game an A-Rank  

Airpods Gen 3

 

After 5 years I finally change to the new Airpods. My old can't even hold a charge more than an hour. So they finally got a sale for Chinese New Year. So got the charging version for a good deal. So far it's been a couple of days and the case still hasn't run out 

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds

Amazing show 

What is it about?
7 years before the iconic Star Trek. The Enterprise is controlled by Captain Pike 

Why I like it?
Every episode is a stand alone episode with small threads that wrap up in the end

I've seen better ships but this one is an iconic one
