Things that happen in November

What a rollercoaster month that this has been for me. The usual stuff for me. Kids have school. Cook, Clean, Laundry, Series, Movie. Rinse Repeat. Cases has gotten too much that we are kind use to it. My wife did see her friend and we went out for some dinner and cakes. Which is good.

I got new internet. From 30mbps now we upgraded to 300mbps. I can tell you for a person who is use to slow speed. We are now having unlimited power. Where are we been living all this time. I did however had to buy as new 5G wireless card since my media PC can't handle more than just 2.4G. The sucky part is that my original PS4 only functions off  2.4G bandwidth so it still on old internet. Went for a date with my eldest after her therapy which is good. We get to catch up. I don't know but my relationship with her is a unique one. Hopefully it can last until both of us are old. 

I lost my friend from costa rica this month. She said she is busy but I knew that it was she couldn't handle the needy me I guess. I really come off to some people which I can't help it. This is how I am. L from New Zealand is doing well. She just got a cat which is good for her and her dog Charlie. Charlie needs a friend. His chickens and ducks are doing good as well. I have my weekly therapy session with her which helps makes me feel. She is the most constant friend I have. M for Michigan is doing well. She is stress due to relationship issues and now she is in the process of making her feel better. The rest of my friends are quiet normal. Just going on for their everyday lives. Which I don't mind. I am always thankful for any form of communication they give me. Then there is E. E I met her last month and she is an amazing individual. We share a lot of commonality that we always just smile whenever we talk to each other. She made the hard decision for not pursuing a friendship with me because of reasons I won't say. But I will miss her dearly and everyday I pray we would be friends back. 

My mom in law had to go to surgery to remove her gallbladder. Since most government hospitals don't do elective surgery. So that's something. She made a full recovery but my bet is still going to hurt. It sucks that my sister in law can't come back for her surgery due to the covid restrictions. Oh well.. I don't think this is going to be ending anytime soon. So that what happens to me. November on the friends side has been an awesome, bittersweet month. I don't think I want to get anymore friends. I think I am done for a while. I just want to reflect on the ones that I lost.  

Inheritance

What is it about?
A dad died and left a insidious inheritance to her daughter

The Good
The story does good to build up suspense. Since you won't know what is going on until the end of the movie 
Lily collins and Simon Pegg (which is rare to see him playing this character) plays their roles well
The last 20 mins is awesome

The Bad
The middle part is kind of a drag. There is a lot of exposition that doesn't move it forward that much 

The Ugly
Nothing much

Verdict: It's a good movie on a friday night

What is it about?
Bad guy plan to flood san francisco so he can control all the silicon chip.

The good
This James Bond is the most fun movie I watched since Goldfingerr
Zotic is like an awesome bad guy. The last scene of the movie is a very typical bad guy move

The Bad
They really have no budget for the gadgets anymore. Most the gadgets and car scenes sucks. 

The Ugly
Nothing much

Back to the normal below 1k cases at 970 and only 159 at the valley

Yesterday we had 2188 cases and 1713 is just from the valley. 1623 is from a 5000 factory cluster that is still undergoing tests. So it’s just an isolated case area

Yesterday we had 1884 country wide cases and locally is 1399 in the valley. Not sure it can go any higher than this 

Octopussy

 I can say this one of Roger Moore least favorite outing 

What is it about?
Bad guy is planning to start world war 3 by blowing people in a circus 

The Good
The chase scene is not bad at all

The plot is dumb
The main villian is a joke 
The story is not worth sending 007 for

The clown bit is so degrading

Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater

This game is not fun the second time around

What is it about?

In the 60s, Snake needs to stop the launch of a nuclear missile from an autonomous tank

What I liked?

I love the metal gear gameplay of sneaking from point A to point B

The boss fights are all challenging and unique. Especially the sorrow and the end

The eating mechanic is great. Catching a lot of flora and fauna really adds to the experience 

The storyline is serviceable but there are problems in that 

The weapons are awesome. The Gatling gun is the best weapon out there

What I didn't liked?

The scene involving the motorcycle. The on rails wasn't that much fun

The escort mission involving EVA sucks

The main thing that bother me is the amount of exposition this game have. The gameplay is actually short but the exposition can last up to 45 minutes long. Hideo Kojima is a story teller but this game really is a drag if you experience it the second time. 

Status: Finish the game until the after credit scene

Fun Factor: Game is fun the first time around but the second time really a drag

1260 cases in the whole country and 479 cases in the valley. With 4 deaths recorded. Nothing much I can report since it is always the same old thing. There is a vaccine on the way but that not anytime soon

Today is the lowest cases so far at 660 countrywide cases with 179 in the valley. This is good. Let's hope that it will last in a week

1210 country wide cases with 518 valley cases. Safe to say we are not opening the boarders anytime soon

1103 total cases with the valley registering at 543 cases. Nothing much changes

1208 cases today in the country. The state is 185. But now I’m counting with the next state because it’s in side the main state. So total cases is 661 in the valley

Today is the highest recorded cases at 1304 cases in the whole country and 364 cases locally... not looking good at all

Total new cases is 919 with the state recording 174. It’s going down over here but just not fast enough

What is it about?

Bad guy stole warheads and demanding ransom. It's actually the based on the movie Thunderball but the author got the rights for the novel. So it's the same movie but with some difference in the plot

The Good

There are more action scene with is awesome

Sean Connery looks cool for his age

There is a awesome video game sequence 

The Bad

The story since it standalone is weird. Bad guys who were supposed to be dead is still here

They tried putting some comedy in it. It didn't workthat well

The Ugly

Nothing much, this is quite enjoyable

Quarantine Day 27

Cases are 972 for today with 138 locally. This makes the total country cases into close to 42,000. Still below one percent but still not good.

This is one of the most boring most Bond I've watched

What is it about?

Bad guy is trying to get a nuclear computer 

The Good

This Bond is very grounded 

The underwater scene looks much better 

The Bond girl is quite a good looking character

The Bad

Did Bond just enjoy killing someone at the beginning. The opening was bonkers 

Sometimes I wonder why can't they send a team. Bond is really not a good agent 

The way they try to kill Bond is really dumb. Why can't they just shoot hin

Got a cool car but they use a yellow slow car

Quarantine Day 26

Today we reported 852 daily cases with the state have the lowest in a while at 136 cases. With the lockdown is for anther month, there are a lot kids separated from their families due to no interstate travel. 

Quarantine Day 25

Looks like the quarantine has been extended another 4 weeks until December 6. With 1168 daily and 247 cases locally I think another 4 weeks is just what we need. Probably even more if this doesn’t go down 

Moonraker

Space battles and I'm like what

What is it about?

Bad guy is trying to kill the entire planet with a bioweapon that is shot from space

The Good

Jaws is back which is fun 

The story is very entertaining 

I think the space scene tried to be cool but in the end it turns out funny

The Bad

The space scene at the end is really bonkers. It laser battles

The ending always ends up like a comedy

The Ugly

Quarantine Day 24

Today is by far is the highest cases recorded at 1799 cases. That basically close to double what we are usually getting every day with the state recording at 191 cases. 

Quarantine Day 23

1009 cases total with 180 cases locally. Deaths is 6. It’s going to be a hard picture to paint right now as we try to contain the virus as much as we could. But it doesn’t seem to work. 

Quarantine Day 22

1032 new cases with the state hitting 231 cases. Death tolls continue to rise up to 8 and it looks like it’s going to be like this for the foreseeable future... 

Quarantine Day 21

So today we have the highest cases by far at 1054 and the state recorded 125 new cases. The death toll for today is 12. The problem is that we are still getting new cases by the day and probably going to be like this for a while. I wonder what tomorrow brings 

So after 100 days

So I started with 83.9kg and I loss only 3kg for 100 days 

My waistline was 42 100 days ago and now its 39

So what did I figure out. That you are what you eat and I wasn't eating right to begin with. Does intermittent fasting work? Probably but with the right portion.

So what's next? Next I am going to see if I can lose my belly fat in 100 days. But this time no more burpees. I'm going to do a 4 min workout for 10 reps everyday. I want to see if that works. As for the eating. I really need to start dieting and stop eating junk food which I totally love by the way  

Quarantine Day 20

So today with 834 new cases. For the first time in  2 weeks we have more recoveries (at 900) and the total amount of cases locally is 129. Hopefully this will go down in the coming days 

Day 100

Today is the last day and frankly. I feel fine. We started with me being week but now I can do below 18 minutes which is the goal. I think I want to continue with something different but this time I need to diet properly and I want to lose my belly fat

Dinner: beef bone dhal and rice

Body: it’s good. Tomorrow will be the day I’ll weigh myself and see how do we proceed from there

What is it about?

Bad guy stole a submarine to start a world war between two countries

Terminator like bad guy who didn't die after multiple attempts

Most of the action takes place in the water

The car scene is awesome

The bad guy is very unmemorable 

The ending is just dumb. The character was invested to kill Bond but in the end she chose not to

What is it about?
A bad guy want to kill Bond because he is the worlds best killer?

The Good
The bad guy is very memorable 
Car chase scene is great
The story is enjoyable enough

Is Bond the ultimate hunt. For me he sucks. He doesn't know how to defend himself that much. 
The kung fu fight was really dumb

The Ugly

Quarantine Day 19

Well just when we thought that the cases are going down. We just hit 957 cases with 225 locally. With this rate my guess is, this is going to be continued for another 2 weeks.

Day 99

Burpees: 12 minutes 26 seconds

Body: 99 days done and tomorrow will be the last day of burpees. I love it, I hate it. But overall its really a fun challenge. Tomorrow will be the last one and the next day is my weigh in
