What is it about?

What did I liked?
Each floor has a different theme and its very interesting to discover what awaits next
Sucking the ghost is so satisfying
Sucking the environment for cash. It feels so satisfying
The sand effects are awesome
No two bosses are alike. Each bosses has different ways to destroy them
My favorite floor is the movie studio.
Seeing Mario at the end is satisfying
Gooiji

What I didn't liked?
Luigi is so slow and the controls are a bit clunky ( but I think that is how it was design)
Some stages requires padding which you don't actually need. I think this game overstayed its welcome. Some floors they make it longer by introducing elements that is not necessary
Having money but only spending for extra hearts.

Fun Factor: One of the best games for the switch for a while. Worth to be played

Dragon's Revenge

The follow-up to Dragon fury which was surprisingly enjoyable

What is it about?
A pinball game that is set in a fantasy world

What I liked?
Its 3 different tables in one. There are a lot of things to do
There are voice clips which is rare in a SNES game.
The bonus stages are fun

What I didn't liked?
It's a pinball game. There is nothing much you can do after you die. There is replay-ability but after one game you practically seen it all.

Status: Finish the game with 12 million in score

Fun Factor: It s pinball game. So okay I guess

Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest

Rare makes very tough platformers

What is it about?
Donkey Kong has been kidnapped and its up to Diddy Kong to save him

What I liked?
The platforming sections some of them are fun
Each animal powerup provides a certain variety
Dixie Kong is so much better than Diddy Kong

What I didn't liked?
The difficulty is bonkers crazy. Really to win this game during that time requires a mastery of skills
Some stages are impossible to win.
The second to last stage is just utter bullshit

Status: Beat the game until the end credits

Fun Factor: Its and enjoyable game. If you like the first one, you'll enjoy the second one

Gemini Man

I can see why this movie bombed



What is it about?
Old will is hunted by young will because they need to tie up loose ends

The Good 
The action is top notch. There are some scene that are awesome to watch
The characters interaction with each other is a fun thing to watch.
Storyline is great but...

The Bad
The clone thing is a little to cliche. Really can't that guy notice that they look the same.
Bad guy is underwhelming

The Ugly
Visual effects is a hit and miss. Sometimes you can see its not that smooth and most of the time you can see its actually a stunt double

Verdict: It's an okay watch. If you don't watch it is fine.

What is it about?
The year was 2016. This was the start of women was trying to stand up for themselves against sexual harassment

The Good
The story is fast paced and there are no boring bits
The use real life situation and just super imposed the actors
The bad guy is this movie is a real ass

The Bad
The ending is a bit open ended

The Ugly
Nothing much. Its a good real life story.

Verdict: It a good movie. Worth the watch

Bad Boys for Life

So third time is the charm



What is it about?
25 years after the second movie. Both Mike and Marcus are no longer boys but old men

The good
The storyline is not bad. It shows that when you are old you need to take things slow
The action is not over the top which is good. It looks grounded
There are some comedic scene that ease up the tension
Supporting characters really have some time to shine

The Bad
The bad guy is uneventful and the plot looks like it was shoehorn in to make it seems more interesting
I call a bit of a BS in beginning of the movie

The Ugly
Nothing much

After credits: Yes but its like exactly after the start of the credits

Verdict: A fun movie which probably going to be a new

I love to bicycle

It's been a while since I've update my memories so I think I better start again. So as the title said, I really love to bicycle. During that time I didn't have that much money to take the bus so I bicycle wherever I go. I still remember the bicycle that I got form my mom. It was a small bicycle with two different wheels. The front wheel is a normal bicycle wheel and the back wheel is an offroad wheel that doesn't need air. It also have a very old school gear (looks like a car gear) that helps when you go uphill. I bike almost everywhere. I bike to school so that I can go myself. During that time is not that dangerous to go on your own. Times have change now. Sometimes I'll pick up my friend and he will sit on my frame while I'll cycle everywhere. The most fond memory that I have with that bike is that one day me and the neighbor decided to go the city to see a game store without telling our parents. It took us close to 3 hours and we got busted when we came home. It was fun just having no care of the world. After I turned 14, I had to sell the bike due to the fact that the it was already unfix able. Got a newer bike but you really can't forget your first.

Dragon's Fury

Its a pinball game but the theme is more fantasy like. This is going to be a short review

What I liked?
Controls are tight
There are 3 levels of the table with each giving a different type of challenge
Lots of bonus stages

What I didn't liked?
Sometimes there can be too much things happening on screen.

Status: Played once

Fun Factor: If you love pinball this should be worth checking out

Donkey Kong Country

This game still holds up.. and it’s hard

This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a while

What is it about?
Two soldiers travel towards enemy lines to deliver an important message

The good
It’s all shot using a single camera and it’s all shot in one take. There are no stops and everything is done continuously
The story is simple enough but it leave you at the edge of your seats
There are a lot of famous actors that have less than 5 minutes of screen time
 It’s an amazing journey and see the making after you done watching this
Game like mechanics which is awesome

The bad
Nothing much

The Ugly
Nope it’s a flawless war movie

Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse

An easy platformer for the genesis

What is it about? 
Mickey needs to rescue Minnie inside the castle of illusion

What I liked? 
Easy controls. It’s a simple platformer where you jump and avoid obstacles

What I didn’t liked? 
Controls are floaty. Not that precise

Status: Finish the game on easy. It turns out medium and hard gave you extra stages

Fun Factor: Played once, it’s not memorable

The Mandalorian Season 1

This is the best Star Wars series ever

Episodes: 8

What is it about?
The Mandalore is a creed of bounty hunters and this show follows the adventure of one of them

What did I liked?
The story is simple enough to understand.
Movie special effects budget on a tv scale. The results are amazing
Some episodes has very little dialogue and it based more on actions
The *redacted* is so freaking cute

What I didn't liked?
It's too short
The end sets up for season 2. It's a long wait

Character development 
Since this is a story about the Mandalorian. He gets a lot of backstory

Verdict: If you are a Star Wars fan you own it to yourself to watch it 

GRIS

This game is so relaxing and beautiful

What I liked?
How beautiful this game is. Playing it is very calming. The water colour theme works well with the aesthetic
Each ability you get helps you progress further into the game
There are no waypoints or markers but you won't get lost even if you try. Which helps a lot
Short and sweet. You can't really die in this game.

What I didn't liked?
You need to figure out what to do on your own. It's mostly trial and error
The slow paced of the game. Even the running speed is slow in this game
Not sure how to get the rest of the colour but I don't see myself visiting the game again

Fun Factor: A very relaxing and slow game. I liked it

What I liked?

The story line grips you the moment you start the game. There are many questions that you want answers but they give you a small amount of it for every chapter you complete. 

Your gun never runs of of bullets. But you can only pick 2 out of the 5 different combinations

Buff that you find during the game will help you make your character stronger 

Elemental powers such as telekinesis and flight

Combat is fast paced and you need to be constantly moving in order to survive 

The last chapter is very peculiar

Ashtray Maze... That is very trippy

What I didn't liked?

The Map. It looks flat but its not since each floor is a 3D space. Your map rarely tells you where you are and eventually you'll spend time getting lost in the area

Upgrading your health doesn't make a dent since most of the enemies has the ability to kill you in a couple of hits. 

Every time you die you'll end up back at the checkpoint. Some of the checkpoints 3 minutes away from the boss battles which after dying. It becomes frustrating 

The bosses are cheap since they rely on multiple enemies bombarding you at the same time 

There is no final boss but a frustrating challenge where you constantly will die in one wrong move

The lack of no new game +

In the end the story doesn't grip you more that you wanted. A lot of things are answers but not so much. I can see this game being its on franchise in the future

Status: Finish the game with the end credits 

Fun Factor: I can see why this made everyone Game of the year (GOTY) list due to a perfectly built game. It's a great game to play. But It didn't make me wanted to play it more.   

The Witcher Season 1

Toss a coin to a Witcher, oh valley of plenty

What is it about?
Ok, this is based on a 30 year old book. It has been made into a kick ass video game (which I planned to play in the future). This story is a collection of short stories from one of the books

What I liked?
The story is very interesting. A bit slow to start but eventually it gets there
Henry Cavill perfectly portrayal of the Witcher
There are not many monster but when there is action it does a good job.
The songs... The main song you'll hear in the second episodes is an earworm

What I didn't liked?
This story is confusing. It turns out there is it out of order for a reason. They jump forward and backwards in time and you as the viewer are left figuring it out yourself
You need to know who are the characters in the series by hand. Most of them don't have any explanation on why they are like that. But they give you small glimpses of what is coming
The main bad guy is still a mysstery.

Character Development
The Witcher and the main characters all get their own stand alone episodes to shine.

Verdict: Its a must watch and it just going to get better over time.

Contra III The Alien Wars

First game of the new decade as well as the new year

What I liked? 
The shooting is fast paced
The stages are awesome. They are more than 4 to 5 Bosses per stage
Mode 7 graphics where you need to navigate a section of the map is cool
The power ups help you a lot. Scatter gun is not the strongest gun in the game

What I didn’t liked? 
The bosses are hard as nails. One wrong move and then you’re dead
You need to jump and shoot and navigate obstacles at the same time

Status: Finish the game until the final boss

Fun Factor: One of the great SNES games. Worth to be played 

6 Underground

The first post of the year and is one for the senses



What is it about?
A group of people who are declared dead go around and save the world from bad stuff

The Good
If you like Micheal Bay. You are going to love this movie. If you want gauge how crazy this movie is. Just watch the first 25 mins.
Ryan Reynolds pratically carries this movie. The rest of the characters are good enough but you are not rooting for them that much
It's very gruesome. There are a lot of locations

The Bad
The plot line is all over the place. There is nothing cohesive. One minute you are in the present and the next you're in the past and then the present again... I really don't pay attention to this stuff
There are no stakes. The bad guy is really unmemorable. Even the heroes are as well

The Ugly
Well... The story is good enough to be on Nexflix. Somewhat kind of a guilty pleasure/

Verdict: If you want a mindless action movie. This is the one for you. A good watch if you have nothing else to watch
