The Last Blade: The Lost Destiny

The pocket is really meant for fighting games

This is a weapons fighter where most of the characters have some sort of projectile weapons (one us a shaolin monk and the other uses turtles as projectiles). The combo system is deep and you can counter their attack if timed right. The points that you get can be used to buy artwork and video endings. For a pocket title this is one of the deep ones. I like it. I give it an A-Rank. 

King of Fighters R-2

The pocket is great for fighting games

Awesome gameplay but this time you can play as 3 people this time. The combos and moves are the same with just two buttons. But the background is a bit bland. I enjoy it. So I give it a B-Rank.

Fatal Fury F-Contact

Sprite based combat as it best

It turns out that a handheld machine can have a deep fighting game with just two buttons. This game is a just Fatal Fury but in a pocket mode. The colors and most one color but it still looks as detail as possible. You can do the same combos. I really enjoyed this game so I am giving this an A-Rank. Great pocket game 

Bust-A-Move Pocket

A cute pocket game

The normal bubble game in a pocket form. The stages are short and you can finish it in less than 30 seconds. There are 100 stages. Once you finish the stage it will saved in the game. Very straightforward. B-Rank

DUNE

 Oh my god. It took me 4 days to finish the movie 

What is it about?
Some bad guys want to fight for the control of Spice and it is up to the chosen one to stop them (spoiler.. he didn't)

The Good
The cinematography is amazing. The set pieces are on a grand scale
A lot of Triple A actors which brings out amazing performance 

The Bad
The story is super boring. Really you have to wait and wait for an exposition to take place. And when it does you seems to be not interested
I didn't have any interest in the story and I find it boring 

The Ugly
Just when it get's interesting (which is does I guess) The movie ends. It is part of a trilogy and I think I am not going to enjoy it as the first one

Verdict: I didn't like it. But that's just me 

The Batman

This movie is amazing 

What is it about?
Someone is killing all of Gotham's elite and is up to The Batman to stop it 

The Good
No origin story. Batman has been here for a year and has establish his roots
Robert Pattinson is an amazing Batman
The Batman suit is the most practical and realistic suit in the movies. They even address how he glides 
The Riddle is a scary villain
80% Batman and 20% Bruce Wayne 

The Bad
This movie is super long at 3 hours but the action moves forwards. It just a bit too long 
There are a lot of unanswered questions on what happen next but I think that will be for the next movie ]

The Ugly
How the heck he can survive all those bullet hits

ELDEN RING

Surprise... I am back 

So before I began you can read my old review of why didn't I finish this game over here Why Elden Ring sucks. Now on to my review

After actually losing badly in the most hype game ever. I decided to play something else. Get my thoughts together and start playing this game. This time rather than just go head on and fight my way to hordes of enemies. I decide to take my time and just play it as how I would play any open world game. Which is to get all the maps first before actually proceeding onto my adventure. It turns out that the map was just right in front of me and once I got all the pieces together I started the adventure bit by bit. 

What can I say about this game. This game is amazing in its exploration and map. Everything you see makes you want to explore it. When you arrive somewhere you are at awe at the surrounding and then suddenly you are ambush with slurry of enemies until you panic and have to run away. I didn't have that problem since I play with a cheat engine (I'll get on that later) so I did enjoy every moment of exploring and getting to discover something new.  Without the worry of dying or getting trampled. This is the best way to play a game for someone who doesn't have the dexterity and skill to navigate a souls game. The weapon are varied with each of them have a special skill onto it. So trying is the key. I had 3 presets so I have two two handle weapons, a shield and one big ass weapon for heavy damage but again that didn't matter

The thing that made Elden ring enjoyable from start to finish was the cheat engine and turning one hit kill. Since my goal is not to be the best but to actually explore everything you can in this game. The best part about being almost invincible (you still die since it's due how much health you have) is that you don't have a sense of urgency if there a boss encounter. I actually enjoy it since I am going to slice it with my lowest stat weapon and he is going to die instantly. The bad part of playing with cheat engine is that I didn't take my time to study the mechanics of the game. I just load a weapon and off we go. Since I don't need to. I say is that to each their own I guess. I enjoyed every moment I was in the world.  

In the end I manage to end the game with the weirdest ending. There are 4 ending and I think I got the one that turn the world into a fiery chaos areas. It did suck that I can't go back and fight the boss again but that is how the game is design unless I want to play a new game plus. So Elden Ring. If you love to challenge yourself. Play without cheats. But If you love to see what is the hub hub about the game. Play with cheats, or anyway you want. The funny thing is that people love to cheese the game (by trying to hit the enemies as far away or cheating the system) so playing it with the cheat engine is the biggest cheese of all. I give this game an S-Rank. Really I enjoyed my time so I think this game will be in my top 10. 

Phase 2

This time we are heading towards phase 2. Phase 2 will be much more interesting since the graphics are going to be now in 3D. Mind you bare bones 3D but still 3D nonetheless

History 
Finally phase 1 of the All game list have been completed. We ended with the SNES. I never owned a SNES but I have played it at a friends house from time to time 

The Games
Like the Genesis 16 bit games are the same as normal 8 bit games. I think game of the 90s are more or less the same.  There are some games that stood the test of time but most of them didn't age well at all. Most of them didn't age well

The Good 
Anything made by Nintendo is always the best games to play. Some fighting games and also some beat em ups. Racing is especially good on the SNES

The Bad
Everything else. Most of the games really are just too hard to be played and it is not really fun.

The Ugly
A lot of games that try to cash in on movies 

Conclusion

The SNES shows that Nintendo has a varied history and they do make awesome games. And with that also conclude phase 1 of the All game list. It is time to move to phase 2. Which is going to be a challenge as we move from the 16-bit to the 32-bit

Yoshi's Cookie

The final game of Phase 1

This game is a match horizontal or vertical line until all the cookies are gone. It a simple game but it is also challenging. For every world that you finish you have a short animated clip of Mario chasing a cookie. That's fun/ this game is super straightforward so there is nothing much to complain. I give it a B-Rank and that's good enough for me.  

Top Gear

For a SNES game its not bad

One of the good SNES racing game. You play a generic racing car and will race for 5 laps to catch the pole position. The racing is fast and the controls are tight. They tried to make two sequels and both of them doesn't have the same controls and gameplay as the first one. I played the game until I finish the whole race. I give this game an A-Rank. 

WRC 10

 Another year another WRC 

Game no: 463
Genre: Racing
Platform: Nintendo Switch
Release Date: 2021

WRC celebrates in 50th years with WRC 10. A game where you drive worldwide and the objective is to try to get the best time on track. Honestly this is not the best racing game I played. That honor is for V-Rally 4 but it has all the normal rallying tropes. Fast cars with different classes, tracks with all types of weather condition. It has a season mode which just makes you race, quick race and also simulation mode. There is a way to set your difficulty low for inexperience players but even with that you are still facing a big challenge. 

The problem with this game is that is it not accessible to the average rally player. The controls as precise as they are is hampered by the realistic physics and tire damage. The tire damage is always been an issue but this game takes it to a whole new level. After a couple of racers your tires will degrade and it will make racing more difficult. In the end you'll either end up to be last or just did not finish the race. There is a anniversary mode where they play the best racers throughout the years. It's great to see what cars people race in the 70s. The problem is that the time to beat is near impossible. After the third race you can even beat it. I've seen clips on youtube that even with the best time is already a couple seconds to late. Oh and the switch version is filled with bugs. There is a bug where the rack will be quicksand and your car will be stuck there.    

In the end I played all the tracks that I was interested in a played every car. See what I need to see and call it a day. I consider it to be a okay racing game so I will give it a B-Rank. Nothing much to talk about

Clifford the Big Red Dog

This is a feel good movie

What is it about?
It is a magical story about being wanted and loved until you grow and grow 

The Good 
The story is good. It is a simple story to understand 
You may think people would freak out having a big dog roaming but it turns out people are cool with it 
Clifford is super adorable 
The villain plays a great villain. Just evil to the right amount evil

The Bad
How is this going to work? Who is going to pay for the dog. I mean there is a lot of explaining to do without very little explanation

The Ugly
CGI is quite bad but the dog is good

Verdict: A lovely movie. A must watch
