The love story expect is also great.

The JK Simmons character needs to be more fleshed out

Weekly Review (Week 34)

August 20 🎂🥰

Today I didn't cook but I bought a lot of yummy local food. It was so yummy that I took 3 times helping. So we can agree that local food can only be bought once a week. Did nothing much but just played some games and for dinner reheated the Sheppard Pie. In the evening watch a movie with my best friend. Overall it is a good day. Oh I almost forgot. Today is my best friend's birthday. So I spend time giving them birthday wishes when they called. They were happy because they have a friend to celebrate their birthday week.

August 21 😊🥰

Today woke up and went for a walk/run. Coming back I made some fried rice while doing a lot of laundry since it is the first time after a while it didn't rain. After lunch me and the wife went to do some errands. We bought some plastic containers to do some home reorganizing for the house. And then we went for the mall just to see the sight. The mall was surprisingly not that full. At night I played some games and ended the night with a movie with the wife. 

August 22 😊🥰

Today is big cleaning day for the household. Wife decided enough is enough so she decided to clean the kitchen and reorganized all the drawers. We started with the fridges and then the cabinets. I had to go back to the plastic shop to buy more containers. For lunch we all had our own lunch. The kids had some Sheppard's pie and I had some instant noodles. Dinner we decided to have it at my in laws place because I need to bring the cleaner back. So at night it was just me and H1 with the cleaner while wife and H2 was staying at her mom's place. I got a call at 230 from the wife saying that Hany is allergic to something and can't sleep properly. I didn't had that much a good sleep yesterday but it was okay I guess

August 23 😊🥰

It is my birthday eve. So today morning I woke up and did some exercises. After that went to see my wife at the in laws. Before making a pit stop there I had a burger at my favorite burger place. At my in laws I just rest and hang while watching some shows. Came back at 5 to cook some pesto for dinner and then brought the cleaner back home. Now I am all refresh and wanting to play some games. 

August 24 🎂🥰

Today is my birthday. So I woke up early in the morning. Get some exercising done. My best friend ordered breakfast for the family. It was sandwiches and salad with pancakes for the kids. After that I played some Call of Duty WW2. It is a interesting game. The sandwich made  me sleepy so I took a nap. After that we went to a mall for my birthday to have my birthday lunch. Due to covid restriction just getting relaxed. Most restaurant don't offer dine in options. So I wanted steak but in the end we got to eat at a Chinese restaurant. I ordered food for the girls via app and then we went and bought cakes. Coming home H1 got a package of shirts that she design. So we need to drive to all her friends house to drop off the shirts. That took a good one hour plus. Coming home I got a translation job and at night I ate some salad because I was hungry. I slept close after midnight. Overall it was an awesome day.

Today I planned to cook some Nasi Dagang. It was my first time doing it and it was delicious. Everyone love it and we gave the neighbor some.  I took a long nap and then in the evening I took Callie back. Callie is still feeling the effects and she is still making more noise. Played uno and I had a headache in the evening. Slept earlier than usual.  

August 26 😢😊

Today I cooked some chicken curry for lunch. I made a lot and in the afternoon my mom in law came to send us some bananas. I invited her over for lunch. After lunch I continue to play more Metroid and then in the evening brought everyone out. Wife had to remove stitches from the eye and the kids wanted to eat McDonald’s. Overall it was a great day. Oh wife started to hurt herself again. Sigh 

Uno game 34th

Today was not a good day for me/ I played uno and then lost. Sometimes I do know when I am not in the zone to play the game. But it okay. We are slowly catching up

Crash Bandicoot 4 It's About Time

Oh my god Crash is hard

What is it about?
Continuing after Crash 3. The gang is all back for another adventure

What I liked?
The gameplay is challenging 
The story is so so 
The stages are very creative 
The mask (slow, flip, spin and phase) provide different gameplay elements 

What I didn't liked?
The gameplay is for freaking hard
To get a perfect run is really near to impossible 

The last part of the game I called BS

Fun Factor: It was a nice experience. I probably won't touch this again 

Dirt Rally 2.0

One of the realistic rally games that I've played

What is it about?
A rally game that is realistic 

What I liked?
This game is super realistic. You can't just floor it because every move will effect the handling and speed of your car
The choices of car. They range from old to new. Slow to hyper fast. 
The rally stages even though is less variety but each of the different discipline of road is available
Rallycross is fun 

What I didn't liked?
The game is so difficult. A split second mistake will make your car skid of the road
The RW cars are difficult handle 
Which there were more tracks 

Status: Played a good chunk of rally and rallycross. This game really doesn't have an ending 

Fun Factor: One of the best rally games I've played    

Batman Arkham City

Playing this game again really brings back memories

What is it about?
The sequel to Arkham Asylum where this time is even a bigger area to cover

What I liked?
Last I played this game was 7 years ago and it still hold up. The combat is still good. The gameplay is tight. The storyline is still interesting and it keeps you guessing what happens in the end.
The city is a big and there are a lot of side mission to follow. Collectables are a plenty. 
The Gadgets are still fun to use.
The Catwoman sections are fun to play  

What I didn't liked?
The Riddler challenges are still a pain the butt. I wanted to do this but in the end I chose not too
Some side missions are just a hassle to do

Fun Factor: An awesome Batman game. I'll probably play it again in a next 10 years

Uno game 33rd

 Yesterday we played another uno game and I won which I gloat accordingly. The kids were so annoyed.

It is repetitive but fun so it is okay

Weekly Revier (Week 33)

August 13 😊🥰

Today I decided to cook fancy lunch and dinner. So for lunch I made mushroom risotto after doing some grocery. It turns out risotto takes a long while to cook. It was so good that everyone had seconds. I serve it with some garlic prawns. For dinner I’ve made some seared scallops with creamed spinach. Added with a fried egg. I made it super fancy that every bite had to be savored. I got a big project in the evening and I promise my best friend we watched the suicide squad together. So I did both and slept late. Good day 

August 14 😊🥰

I can’t go for exercise today since I have a lot of work. I’ve begin work at 645am and finished around 1045 with a  couple breaks. For lunch and dinner I made some curry laksa and spaghetti red sauce for the girls. Today was mostly doing my work and taking short breaks to talk to my friends. I listen to a lot of podcasts so that was fun. Played some dirt rally. Lovely day

Today I decided to exercise at 630am in the morning. Around 7 my neighbor start to join me and we ended up talking any walking 5km. After that I came home and played some games. I decided to cook some lemon chicken with some curry eggplant. It was delicious and I spend the entire day just playing some games 

August 16 😊🥰

Today is a tiring day. I woke up wanting to cook something French but I notice that the freezer door was a bit open. And all of the food is already thawed. That was a lot of food. I felt so angry and upset wasting food but after a quick google and I saw that the food is safe to cook. So thus began the cook of my life. The first thing I did was marinated the salmon in the oven. Cook the ground beef in the pressure cooker. Marinated chicken in the airfryer. Marinated beef and chicken in another pressure cooker. The beef in the oven. And heat up the oil and fry the chicken, nuggets and so snacks. It was tiring but amazing. I manage to cook everything by 5 hours. I gave my neighbor lunch and dinner since there are a lot of food. H1 make cheesecake today for her grandfather. Now I want to play some games. It was a good day in the end.

Today I am making Japanese food for lunch and dinner. I made some Japanese chicken with some Japanese curry. It was delicious and we have some leftover. I spend the day finishing some Dirt and Batman Arkham City. In the evening it rained heavily and we got a package of dessert from my wife friend. Some cheese tarts and banana cakes. It was delicious. My friend was doing well so that as good. I won uno today and my kids bought me a gaming chair for my birthday 

August 18 😊🥰

Today I made some mash potatoes with asparagus to pair it up with the salmon. It was delicious. I spend the day playing some games and watching tv. In the evening I made some wraps with mince beef. It rained the whole day after until by the time I went to sleep. In the evening I went with my to McDonalds to get mcflurry. My best friend was sad last night after we talked and I feel sorry for them. I hope they can find peace. As for my games, i'm done with dirt 2.0 and batman arkham city. 

August 19 

Today I cooked some yellow curry but it was a bit watery… it was good but needs work I guess… other than that I was fasting so I didn’t do anything much. Finally finished crash 4 and it was freaking difficult. My best friend got the cake I ordered. I went to my mom in laws house. And other than that it was just a normal day. Lovely… this is the first time I got a perfect week. In my books

The Suicide Squad

This movie is better than original

What is it about?
The follow up to the first suicide squad movie but with a better storyline 

The Good
This movie is bloody gore 
The comedy in this movie lands and it's just super funny 
I love all the characters in the movie. Each have their own time to shine

The stakes of the bad guy is not that great
Some of the characters have less screen time. I wish king shark had more speaking role

Nothing this movie was entertaining

Uno game 30th, 31st and 32nd

 So today I had a good hour to burn so we played 3 times the uno tournament. First round I won. 2nd round H1 won and the final round I won again. H2 came close of winning but didn't win the overall score. there is still more games to come

I have no idea why Pete is in the movie but really he is one bad villain

What is it about?
It is the son of Apollo Creed trying to get into his father shoes

Weekly Review (Week 32)

 August 7 😊😞

Today the contractors came and finish their second day of work. Today I decided to cook some stir fry quinoa noodles. It turns out great but quinoa noodles are a bit too sticky. After that I spend the day talk to my best friend. Bought them a gift for their birthday and then just finish my work. In the evening the girls ask me to play some Uno which I gladly accepted. I won again which is no surprised since I wasn't even trying. This whole day my wife was not doing great. Depression is a silent killer and it was slowly eating away at her. So she wasn't feeling up to it and no matter what I do it is going to still eat away at her. So at night time she wanted to go for a drive. We drove for an hour before coming back. I send my work and then call it a day. 

August 8 😢😞

Today is a stressful day. It starts with waking up and my wife not in a good mood. She was sad and said that I didn’t love her anymore. I was stressed so I decided to make the most complicated dish ever. I made Ratatouille. Halfway towards cooking I and the wife had a fight. For years I’ve never cried in front of her but yesterday I did. It was very hurtful. She consoled me and we were okay. I spend the evening playing uno with the girls and just adding some pasta towards dinner. At night I went 

August 9 😢😭

This morning I woke up and I need to get ready to go to the therapist. At the therapist we went well. A lot of things were said and I told her that I was stressed at the situation of her being broken. Coming home and took a short nap. H1 cook lunch for us so that is settled. My best friend was not feeling good emotionally. They want something that I can't give them. So we finally think we should part ways for a while in order for them to  heal and be better. I hope they will come back but if this time it stick. It is going to be okay. Because this is not goodbye. It is just that I will catch them later.

August 10 😊🥰

Today is a holiday so I decided to make some chicken mushroom and broccoli soy chicken. It was so yummy. I also took a a walk so I am going to start walking now and again just to loose the weight. Other than that my best friend was not feeling so good. They were crying the whole day since they had to say goodbye to me. I told them that I am here and it is okay. We become friends again and I tried to calm them down. I think we are good but everything with them is volatile. So I wouldn't know. So yeah, take it a day at a time.

Today we ate some leftovers from yesterday and the girls have McDonald's for lunch. I took the wife and H2 for their dermatology appointment. Played a lot of Dirt Rally 2.0 and I got super frustrated when I lost. Really that game is super addictive. Today was un eventful day. Which is good. I love days life this.

August 12 ☺️😊

Today I decided to cook some roast chicken with roasted veggies. Something simple. I played a lot of Dirt rally and I found out that is hard when you get cars that are faster than you. I am going to see if I can turn down the difficulty, Today my best friend and I were talking and in the end we reach a good conclusion in this friendship. They are getting therapy help of all the other problems including me and I hope it will help them to be a better person.

I'm Slowly catch up... So we played a good nice normal tournament which I won. Yay me. Another game this week and let's see if I can catch up.

I don't get what is this movie about but I get why is it special

A couple of different stories involving a couple of individuals

The story is funny at certain time 
The dialogue is really good. 
There are a lot of great actors here

There are some scene that I just don't understand 
It all ties back from the beginning

Death's Door

I love this game. It's amazing

What is it about?
You are a reaper of souls set to go on a quest to open's Death's Door 

What did I liked?

The gameplay is easy to play but hard to master 
The story is compelling and makes you want to see it until the end

The view is in isometric so the set pieces are amazing. It vibrant and colourful as well as dark and drab 
Combat is fun. You have a melee attack and a magic attack. Each with it's own different skills that you need to master. 

Progression is slow but it is meaningful. When you get an upgrade it does help 

The music. I usuall

What I didn't liked?
The feeling of getting lost in the world. The ability to not know where to go next. 

Dying multiple times because of your own mistake 

Status: Finish the game until the credits. It is not the final true ending but it is good for me 

Fun Factor: I didn't thought I would enjoy a souls like game. But I love this game. It is going to be in my top 10 for sure 

True Lies

Shadow of the Colossus Remaster

This game really is epic

Genre: Action

What is it about?
You play as a warrior who needs to kill 16 Colossus in order to save your girl 

What did I liked?
This game has nothing extra. You start and kill a Colossus and then you repeat it for another 15 times 
The sizes of the Colossus ranges from big and epic to small and nimble
Each way of beating them is a puzzle and once you understand how it is so satisfying 
The stamina bar provides a certain strategy in how to hold on into the massive beast. Some of them will shake you off violently and you do feel that you are going to drop off 
The final boss is the biggest Colossus 

What I didn't liked?
The story. I don't understand the beginning and the end. The ending is also just a tad be confusing 

Arlo. Man that horse controls sucks

Fun Factor: This is an experience and you need to experience it once.

Well another week another 2 games. This was a long game but in the end Me and H1 won the games. Pity H2. She is so upset.

July 30 😊🥰

Today I decided not to cook so I’ve went to buy some food at my usual store. It turns out that the usual store is sold out of food. So I went to another store and spend like a lot of money on food. It can last till night so I’m good. Played a lot of retro games and by the end I’m left with 100 Genesis titles left. I have 22 weeks to finish 600 games. It can be done. Played uno with the girls. I won and H1 won. Ended with a call with my best friend 

July 31 😓😭

So today I knew something is just not right waking up. It was supposed to be our vaccine day but it was postpone another week. So I just hanged out and played games and did laundry. After that got kfc for lunch. Talk to my best friend and we didn’t end it well. Went home ate and took a nap. After that I got a goodbye message for them. They find it hard to be friends with me. I respect their decision and just pray that one day we can meet again. H1 is cooking fried rice for dinner tonight. I just done my exercises and figure out how to move on. 

August 1 😊🥰

So today is one of my best friends birthday. He is the same age as me so I wished him a good one. Today is the first day of my 30 day diet plan. I am at 88 so trying to get to 84 but we will see how it goes. So the wife wants me to make sure she lose weight before she goes to the office. So I am trying my best to obliged. I cooked some rice and chicken curry and sautéed veggies. I did some exercise. In the evening I did the garden. My best friend called me back after a while. But I wouldn't count on it because they have the ability to run away at anytime. So be thankful that they are here. I finished Shadow of the Colossus last night and today I am starting a new game called deaths door. I am enjoying it so far. 

August 2 😊🥰

Second day of losing weight and Everything goes well. Went to do some grocery shopping. Buying a lot of stuff for a weeks meal plan. I’m liking what I’m eating and I fasting for 16 hours before eating from 12-8. Playing Metroid Other M and the controls are so confusing on a gamepad. But I think I’m getting the hang of it. Exercise and then sleep early. But I couldn’t sleep since Callie keeps on making too much noise. So stressful. Anyway good day 

August 3 🥰🥰

Today I started the day with a morning walk. I am trying to do a walk a day since I am trying to burn calories as much as I can. After that I got a text saying that I can go to get my vaccination shot at 10am. So woke up wife and then left. The trip was good there were no heavy traffic. Came there and my best friend was there to greet me. They help me get settled in and then I got my shot another 30 mins later. The process was short and I get to meet my best friend at their workplace. Came home I cook some chicken breaded parmesan. Took a nap and then at night I am some pita roll. I don't have any side effects of the vaccine yet besides a sore arm so I like to keep it that way

August 4 🎂😊

Today is my mom birthday. She is 67 and still looking fine. She got cake and pastries from her friend how lucky. As for me, second day of vaccination and I am starting to feel the body aches. Besides my arms everything else hurt. My wife seems worse than me. I decided to cook some soy chicken breast and veggies for lunch and dinner. I took nap and watch the end of Clarice. Played some more death door. It is going to be one of the top 3 games of the year for me. My best friend send me a couple of face mask and then I am waiting for the girls to finish up uno. Overall uneventful day,

August 5 😊😞

Today the contractors arrive early morning to fix a whole lot of things that is broken in the house. I decided for the first time to cook some meatloaf. In theory it seems easy to make. It just add all the ingredients together and bake it in the oven. It turned out perfectly cooked and it taste delicious. Everyone wants a second helping but we didn't had a lot of it. So I watch a couple of shows and movies and finish death's door. Amazing game. My wife is not in a good mood. She is depressed and she is making me depressed with it. But It is okay. I just try my best. 

Street of Rage 3

I think the 3 one is the best

Mr. X has terrorize the city and its up to the heroes to save the day 

What did I liked?
You have rolls up and down to avoid attacks 
You character has more combos and not just a simple one hit button 
Each of the character have different move sets

What I didn't liked?
The stages are also dangerous. You'll end up dying due to the environment 
If you play on easy you won't get the true ending 

Status: Finish the game on easy difficulty 

Fun Factor: Fun to play alone but really you need to be good in this game 

Street of Rage 2

A better game but still hard 

Genre: Action
Platform: Genesis
Release Date: 1992

What is it about?
Same premise as the first game but this time there are a couple of new friends that are joining you

What did I liked?
Sprites are bigger and hit detection is better
Specials now burn which is better
Each character have different abilities 

What I didn't liked?
Flying enemies are still hard 
The game in general is very difficult 

Status: Game over in Stage 5

Fun Factor: Play this with two people. It is more fun
