Day 103: 67.5%

That's my score for the confirmation test. The funny thing is that only 10 questions were about my job. 70 more questions were about stuff that is not even in my job scope. So I spend 3 hours talking to the experts in the field. So basically this test is not to show how competent you are. But to show if you can mix with whole company. Which I can... Awesome. So now I'm already confirm what will be the next move?

Day 102: Nothing happened

Seriously... Nothing did. I didn't have actual work. Wonder what I am going to do today

Day 101: Interesting news in the morning

Got to the office today. After exchanging pleasantries with the HR manager. She told me that to remind her for my confirmation letter. It's finally time. But to get my confirmation on I need to sit for a test... Sigh... Nothing is easy anymore. 

The Intern

Man. If I was 70 and look as cool as Robert DeNiro. I will say life is not that bad. The Intern does have it's ups and downs. There are too many characters and too many arcs which make us thinking that should have just skip the story arc and make the movie 2 hours about DeNiro and Hathaway. Both of them have good chemistry together. We can see is not going to be a romcom that we are use too since the age gap is damn huge. More screen time was given to DeNiro since the movie is about the intern not the boss. But there were some scene with Hathaway that she stole. Plus in the IT age every company is trying to emulate Google. Free shirts and all hippy out there... Overall fun date movie that have a satisfying ending. I can say that the ending even is satisfying it just ended abruptly which sucks... But probably they drag it too long enough.

Day 100: 100 Days

A milestone for me. I've reached 100 days at my company. While I haven't got my confirmation letter yet. I am very hopeful that it will happen (I will probably be gutted if I don't get it). But anyway to share on my 100 day I will share 100 fun facts about me in the company. Don't expect 200 fun facts when I reach day 200.

Day 99: and that's how we roll

By rolling I mean everything will be done on the eleventh hour. Help a friend seeing that she was struggling doing a work for another friend. I was glad to help. I even went to the place to drop off the document which was sweet. Missed lunch which kinda suck. You can't have everything 

Day 98: Good Job for me.

Yesterday was too tired to post so before going to work today let me tell how my day went. Yesterday was the last the day to finish up the tender. Unlike my previous work with another client manager, this one requires a  little more of me doing most of the work. Which I really don't mine since I really enjoy the work. After printing 1200 pages of reports. The tedious process of punching holes in each piece of paper so it would fit the binders. That one took a good one hour of my life. I heard my boss was talking in mandarin about me. Probably something good.. Who knows. anyway, the CEO was there also and was looking at me doing my work. So.. yay. I was noticed.... I wonder what I am going to do today since I've nothing on my workload already.

Insurgent

Another day, another young adult novel which always shows that it takes a young girl to save humanity. This movie is very fast paced. The action is sufficient enough and the story does makes sense to a certain degree. This movie shows that these humans don't have free will. Which is kinda odd since that is not how humans are wired. I do like the scene where she needs to pass all of the simulation to get the box open. Now the last movie will be shown in a couple of months. I'll save my 20 bucks and watch it later when it comes to bluray.

Day 97: Week over

Finished my tender... Well there is a final checking it on Sunday. Got to leave early... Hehe... And now enjoying the weekend with metal gear solid 

Day 96: This week I'm flying solo

Late one day again. But after 2 days of leave who could blame me. Coming back to work is fun but sleeping in is even better. After the public holiday in Wednesday my team decide to take the rest of the week off. That means I am flying solo this week. Which I don't mind since I have the tender to complete. I do however love to leave earlier than usual. That's always fun. Today I'm trying to finish my work as fast as I can 

Day 95: Easy Monday

Today is a great day for a couple of reasons

1) no sales meeting 

2) flying solo today since the team is off to their own adventures 

3) work was good

4) got to go home early... Yay

Tomorrow I am on leave and Wednesday is a public holiday. So 2 more days off work. woot

Day 94: And with the my week has ended

Yesterday's post again. I should really post on the day. Anyway. Today post is going to be a bit long.

In the morning, I did a couple of activities that were due. Worked with my HR manager to get the stuff done. Got a couple issues that were left with questions but my boss finally clear it up. So that's one task handle.. I was not feeling well since yesterday but I chalk it up to the current haze that is effecting the city. Around 11, there was a company briefing, with that comes cake. Man... chocolate cake is one of my last cakes that I like. But I am probably the minority since everyone likes chocolate cake but me... The big boss say we are on track and everything is looking good. Which is good news for me. Lunch time, had lunch with my department mate. He told me that, the boss ask how was working with me. He said that I have a positive attitude and is wiling to learn. Hell... I just love working and the environment is great. He treat me some nice grape drink. It was sweet but not that sweet... He on the other hand thought it was too sweet... I am still in and out of my groggy feeling... At 3pm... I was called for a meeting. In my personal opinion, these meetings are a waste of time unless we can confirm that we can close the deal. Since we got a new Client Manager in our group, I was just giving her a helping hand. Did see that much prospect in that. But hey... Meeting finished late so I can finally go home... Still didn't feel good...

Went back home decided to head to the clinic... It turns out I was really under the weather. Had to do a blood test just to make sure that it was not anything serious. Well it is just stress and whatever I have been eating. So the doctor gave me 2 days of rest and with that my whole week is done. I'll see everyone on monday which is going to be interesting since not everyone can make it on monday. We will see how it goes.

Day 93: Man I really don't understand the costing

Yesterday was great mostly throughout the whole day until the evening where my colleague calls me in for a meeting. An auditor was there was trying to justify our our gross profit to our man hours. Man, that was confusing. I felt like I was back in class trying to understand calculus... Oh yeah... I also split some water on my shoe

Day 92: Work was ok... I guess

Meetings in the mornings. Finish the report. Lunch with a friend since everyone is busy. Had a meeting. A friend drop his phone in the middle of a desk.  I had to help him carry the desk to get the phone. That was fun. Today the haze was so bad so it made going to work a drag

Story:

Daredevil girlfriend sold his name out to the Kingpin. Kingpin ends up smearing Matt Murdock's name and tried to kill him. Matt Murdock presumed dead goes in hiding to find his next move. Kingpin send a mercenary to wreck havoc at Devils kitchen and then Daredevil save the day (in a nutshell)

Overall:

Great first act but week 3rd act. It felt forced and doesn't show how did Matt actually defeated Kingpin. It's does state however that this book is the best marvel comic ever. Google seems to think so.. So who can argue with that 

Day 91: Today I am a Snake

There is a saying in my mother tongue. The term 'mengular' is used where you play hookie and skip work. A colleague of mine wanted to get a new laptop. So he asked me to come with him to survey a couple laptops at the tech store nearby. I think he was already excited for the company trip tomorrow so he was ready to play hookie. I waited till I finish my job and left at 12 (which is lunch time anyway)... Since it was Friday, we walked 20 mins to the place of worship. Another friend of mine was busy eating his chicken chop and we just ordered watermelon lychee... Back at the office finish the rest of my work and get ready for a great weekend...

Today did work, try doing the tender slow and steadily. Went to the bank. That was good. Had a small meeting. Really had nothing eventful to report. And that is always welcome in my book. One more day till the weekend

Day 88: Ignorant is bliss

Not sure I have this title before but went to office today and the HR manager said I did something wrong with the previous tender. I was like... I wasn't aware of any issues. But everyone that was working with me was just hi and bye as usual. So I don't know what. After that she said that tomorrow tender meeting is a test for me if I know my shit... Funny thing is. I already know it... But I'm just going to see what's going to happen...
