Well H1 is in the lead as I went back 2 rounds. And H2 is slowly trailing  behind. Really Uno is really a game of chance. Can I still catch up. You never know.

This movie is really dark and serious 
It started off slow but then slowly pickup up 
Jodie Foster is amazing in this movie

The Interaction between the two main actors are not that much which really sucks

Kindergarten Cop

Surprisingly the movie is entertaining 

What is it about?
A cop goes undercover in a school and learns something different 

The Good
It starts off dark and went all light hearted 
Arnold really has a lot of range in the movie. Amazing 
The kids are super cute.

The bad guy is really nothing and it is weird the town doesn't have more cops

His partner is really something

Ratchet and Clank

My first time playing this game and I really am surprised

What is it about?

What I liked about it?
The combat is fun 
The amount of weapons choice each provide different style of gameplays. My favorite is the Peacemaker and Pixelator
The story is good enough but you really can't just skim through

Grinding on the rails 
Skateboarding 

What I didn't liked?
Clank stages are really not that fun 
The puzzle using the trespasser is hard. I just auto hack it
Some of the weapons really have no use.

Fun Factor: I really enjoy the game. 

A Few Good Men

I really like this movie. 

What is it about?
A group of navy lawyers need to prove two marines innocents when the odds are against them 

The Good
I love the banter between Cruise and his supporting cast
The story has little to no action but it was action packed in the courtroom 

The Bad
I think the movie is made with a very small budget since there are not that many scene showing the actions. All we know is already happen
The famous line wasn't as powerful as I imagine 

The Ugly

Metroid Fusion

One of the best Metroid games I've played in a long time

What is it about?
Takes place after Super Metroid. Samus needs to investigate what happens in a space station 

What did I liked?
Classic Metroid game. You go from one area to another area exploring and finding new upgrades 

A great story even though it doesn't have any cutscenes. You do feel engross in it 

Evil Samus. When she comes you need to run away which gives another level of tension 

The powerups all serve a purpose and in the end you be overpowered 

The maps are breakdown into 6 smaller maps which makes exploration great

What I didn't liked?
The feeling of lost. There will be some areas you'll be stuck since you don't know where to go. 

One hit and you'll lose half of your energy.
The bosses. It is not boring it's just hard. I think that's the challenge of a Metroid game 

Status: Finish the game in 3:51 with 35% completion 

Fun Factor: If you love Metroid. You need to play this game  

Weekly Review (Week 25)

Today did nothing interesting. I cooked some chicken and beef sliders. It was amazing but at night I made another amazing meal which is just instant noodles. Did some gardening because the weeds are getting to long. Played some Metroid and Rachet and  Clank

Today I wanted to relaxed so I made some chicken curry. Spend the day watching tv with the wife and talking to my best friend. Overall it was an awesome day. At the evening did some gardening

Today went to do some groceries because H1 wanted some fried rice. Got home and ate that. Watch a movie with wife but it was so boring that I feel asleep. At night had a headache and went to sleep. Oh and I best Metroid Fusion

Today they ate some leftovers? I don't remember but I do remember at night we had some egg sandwiches. Kids have exams today. Really today was a blur. I don't remember that much. Really these kind of days are the great days. Usually an uneventful days are the best days.

Today I didn't feel like cooking so I went to do some groceries and then bought some chicken rice for lunch. For dinner the kids wanted sushi since it has been a while they have it. So I went to the mall to get some. The mall looks so eerie where every shop is close and the air conditioning and escalator isn't activated. My wife had a terrible day today. She ended up crying a lot. Which is sucky for me. She gave me work to do so I need to help her do it. She wants to quit her job but I think it is going to be a big mistake. It is a good thing that her best friend was manage to calm her down. Me and my best friend and just sad with my current situation. They try to help me but it is not their problem to solve. Overall it ended not to my liking.

Today I woke up by wanting to make some spaghetti and meatballs. So I did. I made that with mushroom soup and garlic bread. It was delicious but I kinda made too much so I gave it away to my neighbours. The girls wanted ice cream so we bought 4 pints of baskin and Robbins. My best friend got me and my wife into the vaccination program. I am so happy and am indebted with they. Overall it’s a good day 

June 24 😊😢

Today for lunch we just had leftovers. I made a calzone. It didn’t turn out that well. I finish Ratchet and Clank and also finish watching the finale the Regular Show. It was super epic. I love the series. In the evening I had to go to my brother in laws house to pick up 15 durians (14 durians actually). My friend came and help us open the durians ups I ate some. And gave the rest to him and my mother in law. In the evening H1 was upset because H2 watch something inappropriate on YouTube. I was upset but I don’t know to explain to her. In the end she cried and I was feeling miserable. 

D3 The Mighty Ducks

The movie is okay but number 2 is better

What is it about?
The ducks are grown up and now have to play hockey differently 

The Good
This time is more realistic
All your favorite is back even with limited screen capacity

The Bad
There is not that much hockey. This movie is more of life at school than playing ice hockey 

Gordon is only there on a cameo basis 

The Ugly 
Ended abruptly and you assume everyone lived happily ever after

Verdict: It is a fun movie to end the trilogy 

D2: The Mighty Ducks

 Better than the first in every way 

What is it about?
The ducks now represent the country in an international tournament

More new faces with different skills. This movie is just like a video game
More hockey 
The classic plot of sucks first and gets better in the end

Too much non hockey related scene

The Mighty Ducks

A feel good movie with ice hockey

What is it about?
A ex hockey player needs to learn that winning comes second. Fun comes first

The Good
It's a Disney movie. It has a lot of feel good moments

A lot of good ice hockey scenes.

The Bad
Nothing much. This movie stands the test of time 

The Ugly

I don't think this type of hockey exist

Bowser's Fury

It is a short and sweet game. And the only game for 2021 so far

What is it about?
Bowser is acting all crazy and Mario and Bowser Jr need to stop him before gets out of control 

What I liked?
It the first open world Mario game where all the cat shines are scattered around the stage and you can do it in any order you want

All your power ups can be stored for future use. Which is great since some stages you need to change to a different power ups

There is a water dinosaur which is super fun to ride 

Mario can turn into Super Cat Mario and during that time fighting Giga Bowser is a blast 

What I didn't liked?
There is no on screen map. You need to check on the map all the time to see where to go next and sometimes it can disorienting.
Giga Bowser is really annoying when you are trying to get to a shine. But that is part of the game 

Status: Finish the game with 50/100 cat shines 

Fun Factor: Finish all 4 Mario games in less than a month. Love this game. 

Klaus

Best movie of the year 

What is it about?
The origin story about Santa Klaus and the legend behind it 

The Good 

The animation is beautiful 
The story is amazing and it has a lot of feel good moments
This story really teaches us that an act of kindness will be paid forward 

The Bad 
Nothing at all. I do wish that there is no bad guys at all in the movie. But that won't be a movie 

The Ugly 

Nothing much. I love the movie

Rigby needs to fix the past to prevent the future from happening

Today its a rainy day. Did nothing interesting. I just spend the time watching tv and plat some games. In the evening I made something new called pasta pesto. It was delicious that H2 finish her meal. At night I watch a movie with my best friend and then went to sleep. Overall a good Friday.

Today I didn’t do anything much. Just relaxing playing a lot of super Mario Galaxy. Watching  some series and talking to my best friend. Today I decided to cook some roast chicken with some curried cauliflower mash potatoes with veggies. Lovely day

Today I woke up this morning feeling a bit down… I don’t know why but eventually I got back on track. I spend the morning finish super Mario Galaxy 2. I went to get Callie  after an unsuccessful week of mating. Came home and cook some fish. The fish wasn’t a hit with the family. Oh well. You can’t win them all

I was woken up by a scream today. My wife had a nightmare about spiders. I had to calm her down. Played some bowsers fury. Spend time talking to my best friend. In the evening H1 wanted me to cook pesto. Like a lot of pesto so I had to go to the groceries and buy a lot of basil. In the end I made enough pesto pasta to last a couple of days. Trying a new ps5 game today Ratchet and Clank. So far I’m enjoying it

Today it’s just another relaxing day for me. My wife wasn’t feeling well so she stayed in the room. I bought some food for lunch and H1 ate more pesto. She still have another day of pesto. My best friend was having trouble with their family. I try to give them some advice but not sure it’s going to stick. I watch the Nintendo E3 press conference and I’m so excited for the new Metroid

Today I went for groceries because I plan to cook some chicken pie for dinner. I did made some awesome chicken pie for dinner. The crust still needs work. Called some guys to pick up my stuff that I want to throw out tomorrow and clean the floors with the girls. Overall great day

Today should be another ordinary day. I called the municipal council to pick up some trash from the house. So all of our old furniture is gone which is awesome. For lunch we had chicken pie. And then I took a nap. When I woke up I found out that my in laws are coming. So I had to go to groceries to buy some stuff for dinner. They had dinner with us and then I ended the night with Loki and my ps5

This one improves on the original in so many ways

What did I liked?
A lot of improvements from the original
- There is a world map which makes it easier to navigate 
- You will get notifications for every new star
- Each place will only have 2 or 3 stars tops 
- Platforming is challenging and rewarding at the same time 
Yoshi 
Cloud suit and drill suit plus the whole old suits 

What I didn't liked?
You need a lot of stars to advance and some of the stages are super hard 
The duck and jump is still hard to execute 
The dragon boss is super hard

Status: Finish the game will 70 stars 

Fun Factor: One of the best Mario games I played in a long while. Top 10 game of the year  

Uno 16th game

Today was not my day. I lost and lost badly. Really Uno is a game of luck since there is no way I can win. So the final score put H1 in the lead

The Conjuring: The Devil made me do it

This movie is not scary halfway through the show

What is it about?
Based on the true story on how a possession made a guy be send to prison

The movie is simple enough to understand 
There are a a a couple of scary moments

The movie is not that scary once you know what is the bad guy 
This is basically a monster of the week movie

Shaun of the Dead

What not to do in a zombie apocalypse

What is it about?
Follow Shaun as he survives the zombie attack on his own town

The Good 
The story is funny and dumb at the same time 

I can get why this movie has a cult following

There is an aftermath of what happens next which is great

The Bad 

The story is actually quite boring. And from what it seems it is done with little to no budget at all

Super Mario Galaxy

This is an awesome Mario game. Why didn't I play it sooner

What I liked?
This is classic Mario platforming which is super awesome 
The stages are unique and challenging 
Powerups are awesome, spring, bee, ice, flower, and flight.
Flying through the galaxy is great 
There are some speed rounds that involve a comet 

What I didn't liked?
The powerups all have timer which is frustrating 
Controlling the gyro with the switch controller takes a while getting use to 
The touch screen features also needs work

Weekly Review (Week 23)

Today it’s a relaxing day for me. We had leftovers for lunch and at night I just cook all of the frozen food in the fridge. At night I watched a horror movie with my best friend. The movie was so so but it was fun nonetheless. Played some Mario and just hang out 

5 June 😞😓

Today it started good. I made some chicken rice for lunch and for dinner I made some butter chicken. We were all having a great time until around 3 when my wife freaked out and got angry at us for making a mess of the house. We all scrambled to clean the house. The kids were stressed out and annoyed. We did end it with a good game of uno.

Today is a weekend. So I spend the day watching 9-1-1. It was a great series. I ordered breakfast delivered. Today my best friend decided to take a break from me. For a while I guess. I am going to miss them. I hope they will come back. Other than that it was another normal weekend

Today was a normal day I guess. I’ve cooked some salmon for dinner but for lunch the kids ate whatever they can find in the kitchen. Oh today was H1 last day of fasting. Me and my best friend are okay. We are taking it one day at a time.

Today woke up and did the usual stuff. The weather was a bit cloudy. I went to do some grocery shopping and turns out that everything was empty. They ask me to come tomorrow. They wanted some KFC but in turns out that all the KFCs are closed during this 2 week lockdown. Bought some mcd. Came home and we smelled some died on the roof. I tried calling all the contractors to hell me get rid of it but due to the lockdown no one could came. In the end I did it myself. I can say going up to the ceiling is not a good idea. It’s so hot and stuffy. And you need to be very careful where you step since most of the area is plywood and it doesn’t support my heavy weight. As for me. I made a wrong step and I made a joke in the kids bathroom. I also scrape part of my knee and thumb. Got a good scolding from everyone that loved me. So I know that I won’t do that again… it hurts

Today I started the day great. Played some games. Went to do groceries. And then we got some food from our sister in law. She gives us some net cakes with chicken curry. So we ate that for dinner. I got a massive translation work that is due on the 11th so I did half of that and slept close to 1am. Me and my best friend are not doing so great so that’s that. 

10 June 😔😊

Today I continue doing my work. My best friend is not feeling that well so I try my best to comfort them.   We got that settled in the evening. I think they are doing better and I’ll try my best to keep it that way. Lunch I made some carbonara for H2. H1 is still on her diet. I finished work around 3 and took a nap until 4.30. I cooked some steaks infused with garlic herb butter for dinner and some sautéed broccoli. It was so delicious. Now I am relaxing and watching some tv. Overall it ended great. 

Uno 15th Game

This game was played yesterday and I wasn't in the mood. So I lost badly. In the end H1 won by a mile. It was good since I wanted the game to be over with

What is it about?
A English teacher teaches the kids that it is ok to follow their heart

The story really has a lot of heart 

The Poems are fun to hear 

Robin Williams is serious but he does cut loose

Sometimes I hate myself

I really think it's me. I bring the best and also the worse in people. Sometimes I just hate myself since no matter what I do, it would never be right. I don't know. Have you every feel helpless. I think I am there right now. I just don't know what to do. I do believe that everything happen for a reason so I just trust that God and universe has something plan for me. So during the journey there is going to be some heartache, annoyance and also some grief. I really need a break from myself. If that is ever possible  

The Curse of La LLarona

The movie has a couple of good premise

This is a feel good movie of that decade 

What is it about?
5 years after the first movie and the Ghostbusters are back

The story is a typical Ghostbusters fashion

Not that many accidents with ghost. They always do it all in a montage

Nothing much. I really enjoy the movie

Weekly Review (Week 22)

May 28 😊🥰

Today is a Friday so I didn't do anything much. Just relaxing. Watching Tv and playing games. H1 didn't fast today so I made some Salmon teppanyaki for lunch. After lunch I went to the mall to get some groceries as well as buy a new casing for the wife phone as well an extension. We bought food at our favorite Korean restaurant and then I almost finish Super Mario 3D World. Oh today they announce that there is going to be a full lockdown start 1st June 

May 29 😅😊

Today in the morning everyone was panic buying due to the lockdown. As for me I did my usual staying inside, playing games (Finish Super Mario 3D World and now on to Super Mario Galaxy), watching my shows and cooking. For lunch I didn't cook but instead I bought some nasi lemak. After lunch I wanted to sleep but in I was busy helping my best friend sell their earbuds which they bought yesterday but didn't suit them. So I was the middleman in Facebook trying to finish the deal. They manage to sell it of which is great. In the evening I went to a nursery to get some pots and seed. Went to my mom in law house to get some plants and food that she didn't want and I cooked some chicken soup to eat with some glass noodles. It was delicious. At 9 I was invited to join a zoom session with other translators. So I am hearing some insights on translating and stuff. I am so tired. 

May 30 😊🥰

Today for lunch my wife decided to get some frozen pizza. It was okay. But really cooking it was a hassle. Frozen pizzas are really not my cup of tea. I made baked macaroni for dinner. I made a lot so they can eat it tomorrow when we go for my wife’s doctors appointment. Played some Mario Galaxy and watch some shows

Today is going to be a busy day. Went to the hospital for my wife’s follow up. Therapy session was good. Cardiologist say that she is okay just as long she eats her medicine. Ate a pie for lunch. Came home and had a talk with my best friend. They were upset and stressed since there was a lot of unfortunate events happening. Tried to calm them down. I also watched my other best friends wedding. It was great. The camera angle sucks. My best man speech went well. Had McDonald’s for dinner and today is the last day before the 2 week full lockdown.

Today woke up early again for H1. After that went to sleep. Best friend had back to back operations. Went to the groceries and found out it was empty. Really can’t understand why people is panic buying. Bought some curry noodles for lunch outside. Cooked some chicken, eggplant and Sambal. Played some Mario Galaxy. In the evening I got a job so had to do that before retiring to bed after midnight. My childhood best friend is leaving for his job in Finland. I found out from my mom. He has yet to tell me. I’m a bit sad but I’ll be fine.

Today I didn’t want to cook so I decided to get all of the kids favourite food outside. So I went out and saw a roadblock near my house so that means I have go the long way to get back home. In the evening I played some more Mario Galaxy. In the evening I did some exercises. Overall it was a great day

I think this was a time where people just love movies without any plots. I miss to watch a funny movie
