FBI Season 5

Another Dick Wolf production

I didn't know: Any cases in central park falls under FBI jurisdiction 

This season: Lots of bombs stories 

Main arc: Scola getting a kid. Maggie coming back. 

They did an islamic episode: Which I think was handle well. Worth a 23 episode watch 

Ghosted

Ana de Armas she is beautiful

What is it about?
A guy who couldn't catch a brake finally find the girl of his dreams

The Good 
The story start slow and then it goes face paced
Evans and Armas work well together 
There is a very funny cameo scene that had me laughing 
Action is not bad 

The Bad
Nothing much. I really did enjoy this movie
Hope it will have a sequel  

The Ugly 
The bad guys are sometimes dumb

University Part 1 - The Beginning

So as you can see I started my life at the university. This was my first time leaving the place where I grew always 80% of my life and started living alone. Mom send me off and after I got the keys to my apartment quarters. I was technically alone. The apartment was made up of 4 individual smaller rooms. In each room there is a table to study, a cupboard to put all your clothes and a bed. That's a about it. Oh yeah there is also a ceiling fan and a window. I choose the window connected to the walkway because I can see people coming around and it didn't bother me that much. I don't remember my room mates that well but I do remember there this one guy who is not quite right in the head and likes to bully me. Things like turning of the lights and others things just annoy me. After a while I just had enough and told him off. He backed down after that. So that was that. Food is located at the food court which is a 10 minute walk away from the dorm. So nothing fancy about that. So that about it. Oh yeah.. we are not allowed to lose our key. There are a lot of theft happens in the university so students are advice to lock their doors when they go out. So your key must be on you at all time. Losing your key means you need to go and do the "walk of shame" to the warden asking for a spare. Eventually if you do that too may times, you are going to pay a fine and your name will be infamous around the dorm. 

Chapter 2 of my life adventure begins

I just realized that I have been 2 year neglecting on my memories and I am going to be 39 soon which makes memories are getting harder and harder to remember (no I am fine, I don't have any brain disease (nauzubilah) that I know off, at the time of this writing) so I need to jot things down for you all to read it eventually. Not sure if you guys want to read it but this give me peace and I love peace in my life. So the last we left off is when I got my final exam results and it was bad. Mom (your grandma) was sad because my brother did well and I didn't. Which sucks because I am smart but I am extremally lazy. So with my results that means I can't go to any public universities (because they are cheap) so private universities are my next choice. So I did apply to a lot of places but only one place came back with an opening. The offered me a spot in a Diploma in Information Technology, I like computers. So sure why not. Little that I know this is where I met the love of my life. Your mom... but more on that later

1080 Snowboarding

A racing game with really wonky physics

This game is about racing from the top mountain until the bottom. During that time you need to avoid obstacles, jumps and curves from the mountain. And that is about it. The game makes it easier if you pick a snowboarder (each of them come with different stats) that has a max speed to max. The reason is that the CPU really is unforgivable. Other than that, this game has no other thing. That's it. Very arcade like. I give it a B-Rank.

Goldeneye 007

First game for the Nintendo 64

Genre: FPS
Platform: Nintendo 64
Release Date: 1997

So this game was touted as the best shooter in the Nintendo 64 era. Do I agree with this statement but this game has problems. First lets get into the best parts of this game. Shooting is fun. Since the N64 has only one joystick (and a weird way of holding it) the aim as been auto lock. Which means shooting is a fun press of a button. the enemies keeps on spawning means you will have always something to shoot. The other than makes this game fun is the missions. There are a lot of guns and the missions seems to follow the movie with other flash back scenes. Now on to the bad part. This game is hard. This is probably due to the time, there are no waypoints and a HUD. The only thing you have is your watch to tell you if you complete or fail your objective. And the game does a bad job explaining how do you need to pass your objective so you'll end up going in circle for hours until you finally figure something out. In the end, I got until 10 chapters and I gave up. I give this game a C-Rank.

911 Lone Star Season 4

This show is always a feel good show: Until the end, where the last 2 episodes really was dark. Like the writers need a tragedy in order to make the show more meaningful

Lost a couple of firefighters: I think due to cutting cost a not a full cast is available every episodes. 

Ending: As always the ending ends in a happy one

Season 5: Confirmed but its going to be a while due to strike 

Resident Evil 4 Remake

Seriously, Capcom is one of the best publishers around

18 years have passed since the the original game was out. Resident Evil 4 was a complete reboot of the franchise where everything has changed. Some remnants of the old story is there but now there is a new threat which promise to shape the franchise going through the future. So what can I say 18 years later? One word this game is amazing.

You play as Leon S. Kennedy the rookie cop for Resident Evil 2 but now you are task in finding the presidents daughter. Which they really don't explain how she got herself kidnapped in the first place and
end up in a remote town in the woods of Europe (I am assuming its Europe not quite sure on that) This game ditches the survival horror of RE 2 and moves more to action arcade style action where you have to blast your way among hoards of monsters (not sure we can call them zombies). This game is fast paced and frantic where you have a split decision on what do you need to do and where you need to go before they catch you and probably kill you. Ammo is sparse and you need to craft a lot of them on the good which means you can't be all trigger happy and start to mow down everyone. 

The gameplay however is much more streamline than the previous iteration. Each stage (or chapters) has a start and an end where you go from point A to point B. There are a lot of checkpoints in case you die along the way and the merchant is back to sell or trade you stuff along your journey. This is where the risk and reward of shooting down everyone and collecting credits from them plays a part to upgrade of buy new weapons along your journey. The problem is that with the limited resource you have, you really need to decide when is the right time to use the big guns and can you survive with just your trusty knife. Halfway throughout the game you'll eventually find Ashley the presidents daughter and the game has an added element of escort mission. But Ashely is more competent than before since she knows what to do when you ask her too. So far this game has nothing but praise from me. 

But that doesn't mean there is somethings I don't quite like. I don't like the one part where you get to control Ashley. I think I've died multiple times during that chapter. I also don't like the mission with the sea monster. That one was not to my liking. Other than that, everything else seems to be okay. Thus, brings me to why I say this game is amazing. It is all because of Cheat engine. Really with just infinite ammo cheat on, the game becomes a whole different beast. You will still die, you will still get mob by monsters but at least you have a fighting chance to survive. After I got the rocket launcher which apparently is a one time thing, the bosses are a breeze to handle. Plus halfway through the game you'll get a magnum which is regarded as the most powerful weapon in the game.

In the end, I can say you can try to play RE4 the way you intended it to be played or you can play my way and just enjoy yourself and have a good time. I manage to finish the game in around 10 hours with an A rank despite saving more than 50 times.  Because of this, I will give this game an S-Rank.  Probably one of the best games of this year.

Oppenheimer

It was a good thing I didn't see this on IMAX 

What is it about?
This is the biopic of J. Robert Oppenheimer, the father of the atomic bomb 

The Good
The story, while a bit long (clocking in at 3 hours) is fascinating.  

The atomic bomb on how slow the process of it being made. It is still an amazing effort

I smell Oscar nominations 

The Bad
The movie is a bit too long, they could actually trim like 45 minutes of it 
The only thing worth seeing on IMAX is the atomic bomb explosion. Anything else not so much

Verdict: A must watch if you like history movies 

I'm so lucky

We interrupt our usual post with a written letter by me. I just want to say that no matter how many times I screw up, no matter how many times I think I am not doing a good job. I can count my blessing and say that I am so lucky. I think God was trying to show me something and by doing it, it shows me that I still a lot of people who love me and I love them back. It is a sad to lose a friend but I think it was for the better. It would just never have work out and I am glad that I was a just a stop gap in that person life. I wish them all the best but I think its time for them to move on. As for me, I was upset but after talking to my best friend, I realized that the problem was me and I already got everything that I need. So the hurt is going to be a while but its okay, just keep busy and surround myself with things that give me joy. Insya allah that things will look up for the better. I do know one thing. Life is very unexpected, so seriously anything could happen in any time. Just enjoy the ride. I think I am going to be okay 

Barry Season 4

The final season 

Rate the ending: The ending was great. Since there is nothing much you can do so the ending is for me a great ending 

Funny moments: There is only 1 funny moment where someone wants to kill Barry. Other than that this season is not that funny 

Sally: I get her character arc but I don't get the dream sequence 

4 seasons: Amazing show. Worth a watch. And it is not that long so that's good

Blackberry

What happen to the most famous phone in the early 90s 

What is it about?
The actual story behind the Blackberry phone 

The Good
The movie is close to the truth about the phone and it is interesting to watch
The tech is sound in the 90s 
The characters are very colourful and you can't help root for the hero 

The Bad
You know what is going to happen but the downfall it is just sad to see how it all went down 

The Ugly
Well all know that the iphone was going to be the winner. I wonder what is going to happen in the future

Verdict: If you like history, this is a must watch.

Asteroid City

West Anderson movies are not for me 

What is it about?
It is a play called Asteroid City 

The Good
The set are vibrant and colours pop out
A lot of A list actors. Like he got everyone. Most of them are on screen for less then 5 minutes 

The story is simple and yet confusing 

The Bad
I don't get what is the story about. Why is it a play in a play?
Wes Anderson movies is highly regarded but I really think it takes a certain style to enjoy it
The monotonous tone. Everyone talks in a monotonous tone

The Ugly
For a play everyone seems to be a bit dumb 

After Credits: No

Verdict: Not worth a watch 

Citadel

This story is like it was written by a kid 

What is this about? A secret spy network that reports to no one. But as usual there is also a bad guy network to stop them 

What is wrong with this series: Every episode there is a twist and the twist are just borderline insane or just coincidental. After episode 3 you'll just go with the flow

Awesome gadgets: Yup this is James Bond level type gadgets 

Turns out: This is part of a larger "citadel-verse" as they say. They tease the next chapter with different characters. And you know what. I am all in. 

9-1-1 Season 6

This show is sometimes stressful to watch 

Main storyline: Maddie and Han trying to get married. Buck almost died again. Captain solving a crime. Hen and his family issues 

911 cases: some are just downright bizarre'

Great part: Everything ends well. No cliffhanger. But since the writers strike. Don't think Season 7 will come anytime soon.

Verdict: Watch if you have time, if you only have time to watch one. Watch 911 Lone Star instead. Much better
