What is it about?
In a small town of Derry, kids have been reported missing. A group of kids try to unravel the mystery that is called IT
The good
The child actors are all professional. Most of them are new actors. The girl who plays Beverly Marsh was awesome
That actor (hard to pronounce name) killed it as the clown. Didn't have that much screen time but he everytime he did it was creepy.
The story of the kids hanging out and being kids. That's what makes it a good movie.
The bad
The jumpscares. Why do you need jumpscares... It's not even funny when every time a high pitch noise comes in and then wait a couple of seconds... Boo sometimes comes and get you.
The adults are idiots and the kids are too... But that's just part of the book of guess
The Ugly
The movie stops being scary and becomes downright more gory... With guts spurting out here and there. They really made this into a gore fest
Language... Kids swearing a lot (well one kid was)
After scene:
Just the sound of the clown laughing and since its duology means it is going to be back
Verdict:
It was a good movie but I am not doing it again... Life too short to be on a high all the time. Don't watch it if you hate gore and jumpscares. Do watch the part where the kids be kids. Since that is great
