Week 34 - It's my birthday week. Awesome

This is my brithday week. I am going to turn 40 which is going to be a different chapter in my life. A lot of things I want to do but I don't have the money to do it. So I am going to work hard for it. I am so blessed with wonderful friends and family who loves me 

Aug 18
• Today went to register H1 for her university. Since wife is working there. We get 50% off which is great.
H1 made me upset by breaking my heart. I was trying to make going to the university happy since this is was not her first choice. She was ungrateful and complaining. Really spoiled my mood
• Ate some arabic food (which is the least favorite of my food) and went home to rest a bit
• Went back out to the mall. Promise H1 that we get a TV for her room. But after shopping around we found a cheap tv is not that great. So we decided to get a bigger 65' tv and gave her our old 55' tv.
• I also bought the new Astro Bot Limited Edition Dualsense controller since it looks cool

Aug 19
• I made beef fried rice today
• I can't send H1 to see her friend due to needing picking up my mom. So I send her to her friends house.
I told H1 off that her behavior yesterday was uncalled for. I hope that she understand and change
• When I wanted to pick up H1. The car wouldn't start. It turns out that the battery is dead. So H1 friend's mom helped send her. I had to call for a battery replacement which cost 285. Good thing mom was here.

Aug 20 🎂
• My best friends birthday. Ordered them some fake AirPods. Should arrived by tomorrow
• They were feeling down so I ordered them the same cake I ordered last 2 years. Snickers salted caramel. They are 40 and I pray nothing but the best for them

Aug 21
• H1 friends (wife’s students) came to bring her out to the city. The played some videogames first and left together with us and H2.
• After sending them to the train station we went to pick up wife’s medicine and went to the mall
• Saw a kid fell 6 feet of a bouncy toy head first. Wife froze and screamed.
• Ate some Japanese rice. Food was good and service was slow
• H1 got home early. Everyone was tired. So we bought food and decided to stay over there.

Aug 22

• H1 friends are still here the whole day. And the guy is really starting to get on my wife's and I nerves. Wife ask H1 if she wants a friend to go for a holiday and she got angry at the wife. Wife was sad and really H1 is really driving up my nerves.
• Its going to be raining heavility the whole week. So far this evening the city has partly flooded so it is going to happen again soon.

Aug 23
• Today I made some butter chicken
• Last day as 39 years old
• My best friend came to sing early happy birthday to me. They said they couldn't wait until midnight since they knew I would be sleeping. They were right.

Aug 24 🎂 (Memorable)
• Today is my brithday. I am officially 40. Got wished by everyone that matters in my life and then some people overseas. I am truly blessed
• Had lunch at a very expensive Japanese restaurant with the girls. I ordered a lot of sushi, beef belly curry ramen which was delicious and sashimi.
• After that went for a short break at in laws
• Ended up the day at our usual mall. The kids bought me very expensive underwear and wife bought me a shirt. Before we left I have two scoops of ice cream which I think was a bit too much. I am 40 now and going forward in the next 10 years. I am going to try to live my life to the fullest and probably travel more

What is it about?
A woman trying to figure out why does systemic racism happens throughout the years 

The Good
This movie really ask the right questions and the answers are not the one that you want to hear
The characters are okay I guess but that wasn't the part of the movie that was interested 

The Bad
The movie is a bit too long but they are trying to share the message here 

The Ugly
Race issue exist everywhere and I don't think we can solve this problem anytime soon

Verdict: This is a super serious movie. So no.. don't watch it  

FBI International Season 3

Another year, another FBI trio special 

Cliffhanger resolved: No lost of life which is great. The thing about FBI is just a show where you can just watch an episode and still follow the story 

Hello and Goodbye: We lost 2 casts members and gained 1. The sucky thing is we lost the main hero. Now with Scott gone (he didn't even had a proper sendoff) next season will be something new 

Amanda: The new cast which is the tech guy, They also upgraded their office which now has a lot of tech people in. Looks like the normal FBI office

Ending: Not a cliffhanger. It ends by saying goodbye to Scott. This season is not that great. Hopefully next season would be better 

Week 33 - The cats got deflea this week

 Another okay week. So far nothing much to complain. Met my uncle .Which is fun. August has been a quiet month which I love. I get to play a lot of Ghost of Tsushima which is great.

Aug 11
• Ate some mexican food. The shop is just like 5 minutes from the house
• Went to MIL to see the baby
• Bought a new matress for H2 sleepover tomorrow

Aug 12
• H2 friends came over to sleep
• Did work from 430am until 10pm. Didn't stop. Granted I did play some games in the middle but I didn't get my nap
• Bought a new cat cage
• Went to eat at my favourtie fried chicken spot. Without the kids.

Aug 13 (memorable)
• Today is Results day for H1. She got 2A* 5A 1B. The B is for art which we thought is was already a shoe in for A. We are happy but she is sad since she wants 4*. After an hour of trying to convince her everything is okay. She finally was okay
• Went out to eat korean food and ice cream
• H2 friends left. They baked cookies yesterday. They all look the same which is really funny
• I finally decided to start my 10 year plan to save money to retire.

Aug 14

• Mom is here
• I got a burst of energy which is awesome
• Dad in law is here. He gave H1 money for all the A’s
• Washed moms car

Aug 15

• Went to an art gallery with the girls and mama. Mama’s best friend is doing an art gallery called Macro photo paintings. Basically small paintings where he took pictures of it. It was very interesting and in the end we were guessing what was the items made off. Since he uses everyday items such as, copper wire, sugar, toothpaste and oil. And make it into a small canvas

Aug 16

• Wife is feeling down today. 😔
• Registered H1 for a car license finally. She start tomorrow

Aug 17

• H1 did her driving license. Today is a 6 hours course.
• Send all the 4 cats to get deflea. Creamy had to be lion cut because his flea was quite bad. The rest of the cat family just got deflea and vaccinned. Patches was being a diva as always by being as loud as possible. But they were not doing anything
• Bought Chinese food and send mom to the hotel. Rained heavily
• Wife's students (the girls) came to hang out and play cards. I won the last game

Next week will be my Birthday Week. I am going to be 40. This is going to be fun I hope.

Verdict: If you like a thriller you should watch.

The West Wing Season 2

Politics is very boring 

What happened: After the cliffhanger it shows what happen to the rest of the characters. The issue was settled in 4 episodes and with bits sprinkle in the middle 

Gone characters: The PR person and white house reporter has left the show. Josh secretary Donna has been made into a series regular 

This season: The president has a diesease and the last 7 episodes were them trying to figure things out 

Cliffhanger: Season 2 ends in another big cliffhanger. It also marks the end of one of another character from the series. 

Week 32 - Played Cards for 8 hours

It has beena while since we played Gin Rummy. I think the last time was 3 plus yars ago with my family. I had a really great time playing it with wife student. But we really can't do that again. It is not feasable 

Aug 4 (memorable)

• Today is Mama birthday. She is 70. If she gets to 100 that will be Alhamdulillah. But here is to another 70 more years
• The students were supposed to leave but ended up sleeping in. Had lunch and then played cards from 12-5
• After 5 H1 cooked some olio and the students made some dessert
• Wife cousin came and brought some pizza and cakes.
• Played more cards until 1030 where the cousin send her home

Aug 5
• Everyone is suffering from after party hangovers. Everyone is tired including me
• Bought a new laser printer. The brand is called Pantum (apparently they make industrial printers from China) the difference is that, this printer is wifi enabled.

Aug 7
• Did a lot of errands for wife today so I didn't get to cook.
• H1 friend came to visit. She is going to stay for 3 days.
• The hacker friend continues to harras me for money. Now she thinks she is talking to my lawyer and I keep saying no. I feel very libertrated by saying no. What if she really needs the rest of the $580 and we can get the money. Well then is my loss. So I am okay with that. I have made peace with myself not getting the money

Aug 8
• Wife got lots of errands so we drop H2 to her friend house and send H1 and her friend to the mall
• Eat some steak and chicken chop with ox tail soup. It was delicious
• Pick up the girls and came home around 7. I mmade some roasted chicken with cream mushroom with some smahed potatoes

Aug 9
• H1 friend has sports training at school. Wife and H1 has dentist appointment
• Went to claim my free birthday burger
• Rained heavilty. The sleep was awesome.

Aug 10
• Went to the tailors with H2
• Just went for a stroll at the mall • The hacker girl finally gave up and say she wants to find the money herself and then will contact me once she has the money. So that ends my journey for trying to be rich. It was a good run but it is okay. You live and learn I guess. Overall I am happy that I tried and I think if I have the money I would do it again

Another good week. There were a couple funny moments. Moments I can't put in the blog because is it between me and my wife. That one will just be in our memory banks. Next week mom is coming. Other than that it is just business as usual

Star Fox 64

I can see why this is a classic 

Genre: Action 
Platform: Nintendo 64
Release Date: 1997

Whenever you think about the Nintendo 64. Star Fox 64 will always come to mind. It is an on rail space shooter where you need to avoid enemies while destroying them at the same time. The game is fun. Couple with actual voice acting. This is really ahead of its time. My only complain is that, this game is really hard. There are some stages where you can't avoid enemy fire event with a barrel roll. After a while your gameplay will end up frustrating. Great game if you want to stick it through. B-Rank 

Godzilla X Kong The New Empire

The teamup that we all want 

What is about?
The fourth movie in the Monsters series. Where this time Godzilla is teaming up with Kong to stop a bigger threat 

The Good
This time the monsters has more screentime than before 
Kong shows more emotion even without any dialogue 
The action is great. Love seeing monsters beating up each other 

The Bad
Godzilla doesn't share that much screen time with Kong. I mean they have the last scene together but I wanted to see more Godzilla
The humans are just there. Nothing to special in my book 

The Ugly
Nothing much.

Verdict: If you like monster movies. You will like this 

Elsbeth

I found my new feel good show 

What is it about: Elsbeth Tascioni is a lawyer to overseas corruption in a New York city police department. She is from Chicago so she is dress so out of town 

This show is special: Every episode she will slove the crime since she sees other things that the investigators miss. 

Everyone likes her: Everyone finds her adorable. Every episode she will make friends with the victims or the suspects (allegedly) which is funny. The cast of characters as well is fun to watch 

Season 2: It is confrim. They finish the season 1 arc and now season 2 she is there parmenantly. I wonder will there be a bigger arc in store/ 

Week 31 - Best week yet

Lots of things happen this week and it is all good things. This was a great week. Not sure if I can replicate this but take thi 

Jul 28

• Send mom back to the hotel
• Wife cooked
• Played videogames with the girls. I won Mario Kart 3 times.

Jul 29
• Brought H1 to check up on her sweaty hands. It is a condition called hyper hydrosis. The sad part is that there is no cure. There is a jab that she can take. It cost a lot and it is not permanent. Only lasting a couple of months. So we are trying to find cream for it first.

Jul 30
• Wife and MIL decided to do an impromtu holiday today. Which means I have to cancel my classes since I do not know the setup of the place. They decided to book a villa by the ocean
• We left home at 2pm and arrive close to 3pm. Checked in and straight away went to the pool. It turns out my idiot BIL is also here. Which sucks since I know I will have to be in charge of everything
• Pool time with the family was great. It has been a while since we all are at the pool.
• In the evening the kids were hungry as well at the in laws. So I had to go find food. This area doesn't have that many food choices but I found one that was cheap. The food was edible but that was it
• My old friend gave a job to do and I can charge per hour. Which is awesome since I charge 50 per hour. While the kids were watching a movie on netflix I did some work till midnight which I didn't finish it as well. So continue tomorrow

Jul 31 (memorable)
• Wake up, did more work. Did a class with my favorite student.
• After work went skinny dipping in the pool with wife. Did some awesome moves that we could check off the list
• Packed and went home
• H1 got a date with some boys so I dropped her off at the mall and pick her back up at 10pm

And there you have it. June is over. Lost money again but really I have myself to blame. So this is I’m going to try to look at it as a great month since it’s my birthday. So be happy

Aug 1
• Wife follow up. Just getting more medicine
• Spring cleaning the house. A lot of stuff are going to be recycled

Aug 2
• Got close to 45kg of recycle and I only got like $3. that's dissapointing
• H1 is going to the city by train with wife's student. I had 6 girls in the car. It looks like a clown car
• The students eventually sleeps over the house. They cooked dinner.
• I was tired for driving too much.

Aug 3 (memorable)
• Today my cousin's son is getting married and my mom ask me drive 90km away to the wedding. I didn't want to go but mom has gave me a task so I have to say yes
• Arrived there and my cousins are there. Not all of them but the ones are there are the best ones to talked too. I catch up with them and just update about life.
• Driving home I got a called from my best friend. They were not feeling well. They say it's probably hormonal but I just they are not happy with their life. I got a good 90 mins plus to talk to them
• Wife and the students are at the mall going for karoke. I get to do class (not before the house blacked out just before I get to do class). Pick up wife and go home and bought some food
• The girls cooked and then at 11pm we played Gin Rummy. The last time I played this with was 3 plus years and it was a hoot. We were laughing non stop and I slept at 1am. And wake up at 430am for classes. Unforgettable

Next week no idea. But lets just make the best of it
