The Mummy

Now everyone wants to go into the cinematic bandwagon, If you do that, your first movie needs to start of with a bang

What is it about?
Retelling of the classic Mummy tale set in modern times

The Good:
Tom Cruise Without him I think this movie will be a dud
The effects are quite nice
The modern setting is good since its with the times
The plane sequence - short but awesome

The Bad:
The shoehorning of everything to due with the dark universe. They are trying to start the movie by cramming everything in.
The jokes... The jokes did not land at all.
The movie is more of jump scares than scary.
The dark atmosphere. Literary dark.. sometimes you can't see shit.
Russle Crowe as the Nick Fury of this thing... He doesn't need to be there for the whole movie

The Ugly:
Plot is not interesting
The bad guy is bland and boring
The exposition. For every explanation there is always the same flashback sequence. This is not a japanese anime.
The mummy is more like a walking dead rehash. Seriously... looks like zombies
They are just trying to hard to make a good monster movie

After credits:
Nope... Good since we can walk out of the cinema

Verdict:
Watch anything else but this. Money wasted. Watch the Branden Fraiser Mummy. That is a better movie than this...
