This week has been a low key week. Nothing out of the ordinary happen which is great. Classes as usual. Mom was here for a long time so that is something. The goverment just implemented 1.99 per liter petrol for the locals so that is great and everyone else has to pay market price which is still cheaper.
Sep 28
• Rained super heaviliy this morning. H2 has a meetup with her friend and we had to cancel that
• But after 12 the rain had stop so it was back on. H1 followed because she needs steps for a competition
• Ate some western food. The place is not bad but the service is slow and meat is a bit chewy
• Maid came by herself today but she went back at 12am. I was already sleeping when I had to send her home
Sep 29
• Mom made some fried rice
• Pick up H1 at uni and then went to go get her drawings to be sold tomorrow
• pick up cleaner for the 2nd time
• Wife finished work at 7pm
Sep 30
• Send mom to her hotel. It’s a fancy retirement hotel for old people. You need to be 55 minimum to stay there
• Before that stop by my aunt house. Met my friend who used to be my babysitter. She is 52 now but doesn’t look her age
• After sending mom heading back home I finally called my friend. Her dad suffered a mild stroke and also is in debt with some loan sharks. While talking to me and crying. I couldn’t help feel sorry for her. So I lend her some money to pay off the sharks and also for her to eat. If you can help a friend. You should do that
• Ate some ayam gepuk at the uni bought some sushi for H2
• At night went to the uni because wife needs to prepare for her event tomorrow. Tomorrow is going to be a busy day
October has been an expensive month. I think the total damage was close to 9000. Oh well things happen and we deal with it. Other than that I am liking my new friend. She is a nice person who has fallen into some hard times. It could have happen to anyone
Oct 1
• Today is wife event so I didn't do that much classes. After 7 sending H2 to towkr I had to wait for my father in law to arrive so I can help him unload the bags. I also had to take the bags from the house for him to sell. H1 sold her prints as well at the booth. Overall the event was a big success but wife was so tired because of it
• Bought some family mart for H2 dinner/lunch
• It rained the whole day and because of that H2 new teacher couldn't come to thehouse to teach her
• Father in law send wife back home and then left. We ordered some chinese food for dinner and H1 came back to eat some food.
Oct 2
• Wife was not feeling that well so today she is working from home
• I made some chicken rice today. It was great but I forgot to put ginger in the cooking.
• Did my 2nd work of helping my friend do some translation formatting.
• In the evening pick up mom from her hotel. The area was so jam packed that I wonder how do people move around. Took us 80 minutes to get home
• After class in the evening I went to the clinic to see if I can get medicine for my leg. They gave me a lot of pills to eat.
Oct 3
• Wife had to go to work in the afternoon and I had to go praying. So when I send her, she found out that her meeting was cancel. So I send her to go home with H1
• Had lunch with my best friend and ate ayam gepuk. Pick up H2 a bit later. Not going to do that again
• Evening went to the clinic for wife jab and end the day with rewatching the F1 movie. Still holds up
Oct 4
• Had lunch at the mall. Had some dakgalbi. The taste is not the same as Korea
• Wife bought me some jeans and pants for me
• Came home and rest for everyone
• Played a game called and Roger. Wazs a beautiful yet sad game.
