Day 226: Half day before a long holiday

Yesterday I was already psych for my long Labor Day weekend off. Starting with a half day yesterday. But I got called to the office since my friend N needed help. So as a good friend I am. I helped her get out of a jam. My boss was not to pleased with it since it's not my job anymore. There is a person for it. Next time I don't want to tell him. Or should I?
