Week 40 - The Perfect Week

Do you know sometimes when you have nothinggoing onin your life and everything is just smooth sailing. So that is what happened to me this week. Life was kind to me. Nothing much out of the ordinary happen. Everyone just got on with their lives. This is a rare occason and I love cherishing this kind of week

Sept 29 Today mama brought us a fancy restaurant that serve local malaysian food. The food was good and the prices was quite high. My best friend is quitting their job tomorrow. Read their resignation letter. I'm really worried since they are not that frugal. So we will see what will happen next

Sept 30
First day of eveything. H2 as usual has school. H1 and wife have uni. My day today consist of going back and fourth from uni to school. I think I went there at least 5 times today.
Made some beef stew with garlic bread
My friend choose not to talk to me. I think I need to stop hanging on to them that much. Really, in my mind I am their friend but they are not mine. They will need me when it is important to them and I think I need to understand that I am just a friend of convience. So just sit down and shut up

September is over and we have 3 more months left till next year. I can say this month has been a good month. Nothing to bad happened and everything was manageable. October is going to be another busy month for me. Let's see how I navigate this without any major problems

Oct 1
The Perfect Day. A rare occurance where everything happened as the way it should
Went to take out kids money to pay some fees.
Had some dim sum with wife. Met my niece at the mall.
Got a hour on the bike. Made some dinner for the girls.
Slept super early which is a plus in my book.

Oct 2
Father in law came.
I need to learn how to budget my cooking. So today going to be better.

Oct 3

Made some Arayes - Lebanese fried stuffed meat in pita bread

Oct 4

The new neighbours experince a generator malfunction which cause the whole section in front of my house to experince blackout. As a result. They have to bring 3 portable generators to power the whole half section of neighbourhood until they figure out the problem. It didn't help due to the rain.

Oct 5

Made some homemade burgers
The finally fix the problem after 30 hours
Brought the girls to watch Transformers One. Great movie.

Next week there is nothing on the horizon. Basically once everyone is busy usually life takes a backseat. I want to see if I can finish the Plucky Squire next week. But it requires an hour of my time. I'll see if I have the time

What is it about?
A stranger needing to bail out his cousin has gotten into trouble with local police. Little do they know. He is not your average person 

The Good
The action is realistic. They interviewed the director and said they wanted to make the action as believable as possible 
The story is simple and yet it will leave you hanging due to the action 

The Bad
The final fight scene was quite fast. I was expecting more. 

Too much B roll on stuff why did it happen. 

The Ugly 
I wish it was more. 

After Credits: No 

Verdict: Awesome movie. I think I can see a sequel if netflix pick it up

The West Wing Season 4

 I think this is where the season peak 

Whats going on this season: Running for relection, Sam got regulated to be a senator

Goodbye Sam: Well in real life it was always about pay so they made a story where he is running for a senator for California. I kinda miss Sam. I like how he talked and only getting him like 13 episodes sucked

Hello Will: Will is the speech guy. He is a bit better but doesn't have the same spark as Sam. But I think he doesn't mind he role in the white house 

Ending: The ending with a major cliffhanger and a new president. That was scary.
