Pokémon Pinball

Amazing Gameboy game

Game no: 497
Genre: Pinball
Platform: Gameboy Color
Release Date: 1999

I am still amazed how they manage to program pinball games in a 2D plane. This game you have two different tables which is red and blue (red is more interactive than blue) and you guide the Pokéball to catch Pokémon and rack up points. There are a couple of interactive elements in the game and there are a lot of events you need to complete before the time ends. The game use the rumble pack feature that is in you GBC (I use my laptop and it was rumbling hard) which I find entertaining. In the end I got close to 500 million points and I give this game an A-Rank

Gameplay
It is a pinball game where the filpper moves and the balls are static

What is it about?
You play as a robot who needs to give power to the city.

What did I like?
The art style is beautiful.
The levels are interesting and so satisfying when you get a whole room cleared
You have the option to skip the level by collecting power
Different weapons and clothes of customization
Boss battles are challenging and yet interesting

What I didn't like?
The aiming is clunky.
You have to do a lot of different things at once which makes it annoying when you die
Some stages require luck more than skills which makes it annoying

Status: Played a good 3 hours of it and rage quit

Fun Factor: It a great game of the patient

What is it about?
A pinball game that is set in a fantasy world

What I liked?
Its 3 different tables in one. There are a lot of things to do
There are voice clips which is rare in a SNES game.
The bonus stages are fun

What I didn't liked?
It's a pinball game. There is nothing much you can do after you die. There is replay-ability but after one game you practically seen it all.

Status: Finish the game with 12 million in score

Fun Factor: It s pinball game. So okay I guess
