- 2D water physics
- 4 tracks  with different classes.
- Obstacles and waves that is on the opposite direction makes racing a challenge

Status: Finish the game at 550cc
Fun Factor: A great way to waste your time.

Wario Land - Super Mario Land 3

Its-a-me-wario... Wario has it own adventure

Does it holds up?
-  Same Mario style game play with a few tweaks
- Wario collects coins which has multiple uses. You need at least 10 to open a door and you can use it to throw to enemies
- Has 3 hats that gives different powerup. The bull hat that gives extra power. The dragon hat (which looks wired) that gives fire power and my favorite the wing hat that give rocket power.
- Bosses are hard

Status: Played a couple of worlds and then It got repetitive
Fun Factor: It a good game but the difficulty curve and the repetitive stages makes it a bit boring

Tetris

The game that started in all

Genre: Puzzle
Platform: Game Boy

 

Does this game holds up?
- You control 7 blocks and make it into a line.
- That's about it.

There are a lot of variations of Tetris for the Game Boy but the original is still the best. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

Status: Played a good chunk until I got bored. I could understand this game appeal to everyone
Fun Factor: A very great way to waste your time, anywhere you may be.

Super Mario Land 2 - 6 Golden Coins

A different type of Mario game

Platform: Game Boy

 

Does this game holds up?
- It has the basic formula of any Super Mario game. Running, jumping and collecting coins but there are a couple differences
- Coins don't give you life but they are used to buy other stuff in the shop
- Hearts give you life.
- There are 2 different powerups to get. One gives you fire and the other gives you flight
- Any power-up you take you will change into that particular power. So even if you get a mushroom (when fire powered) you will loose the ability.
- You collect 6 different coins from different lands to fight the final boss
- The game is quite hard

Status: Beat the final boss which is ok
Fun Factor: You never can go wrong with a Mario game

Pokemon Yellow

This is a lack there of a game rather than a game that I played

Does this game holds up?
-Don't get me wrong, if you youtube best/ top 10 games for the Game Boy and a version of pokemon will be in the list. But I don't know why, the game didn't resonate with me. RPGs has not been my cup of tea due to its low response time and slow pacing as well as grinding. But for me the people who actually play pokemon really have a lot of patience in hand. This game where you control a pokemon and fight off other pokemon is a grindfest

First of all 
- You need to make sure that you are stock with pokeballs, potions and other items so that your pokemon won't die in the mist of battle.
- You have to train the current pokemon to be the very best but when they have only 1-2 attack moves and the rest is just specials that depower the other pokemon makes this game like a version of rock-paper-scissors where if you are lucky you can win.
- Does every NPC wants you to fight them... You can't even have a decent conversation outside of towns since everybody just want you to fight their pokemon which becomes tedious and repetitive after a while.

So I will not watch the longplay of this game. I know it's a great game and I am probably one of the minority who doesn't enjoy grinding to fight a boss (I wonder how is it with final fantasy after this or the 16-bits RPG)

Status: Played 1 hour of the game. Got bored after fighting the same metapod in the bushes over and over again.
Fun Factor: It's a fun game. It is just not for me. I would recommend this game to anyone who wants a good game to play for the long haul.

Operation C

Contra for the Game Boy

Genre: Action

Does this game holds up? 

- It has all the same gameplay that makes Contra an awesome game.

- This is more Super C than the original Contra. There are too down stages which I don't Pratically enjoy. 

- Short and sweet 

Status: Finish the game until the final boss

Ninja Gaiden Shadow

Does this game holds up? 

- This game is a slower pace than the NES version of the game.

- There are no more than 2 enemies on screen due to hardware limitations 

- 5 stages with each different bosses

Status: Finish the game until the final boss 

Fun Factor: A great Game Boy game to play. Short and sweet 

Mario Picross

A Picross game.. Always fun

Genre: Puzzle

Does this game holds up?
There is nothing wrong about picross. It is a fun puzzle game.
The fun is figuring out what is the picture we are trying to draw.

Status: Played a couple of levels. Really enjoy this game
Fun Factor: I'll keep it to be played on a later date.
