Yoshi's Cookie

The final game of Phase 1

This game is a match horizontal or vertical line until all the cookies are gone. It a simple game but it is also challenging. For every world that you finish you have a short animated clip of Mario chasing a cookie. That's fun/ this game is super straightforward so there is nothing much to complain. I give it a B-Rank and that's good enough for me.  

Top Gear

For a SNES game its not bad

One of the good SNES racing game. You play a generic racing car and will race for 5 laps to catch the pole position. The racing is fast and the controls are tight. They tried to make two sequels and both of them doesn't have the same controls and gameplay as the first one. I played the game until I finish the whole race. I give this game an A-Rank. 

Super Mario World 2- Yoshi Island

A great game but the mechanics not so much

Mario is now a baby and is up to the Yoshi to help him navigate the island. This game is fun I can say. The visuals are great and also there are a lot of interesting gameplay mechanics that you can do with Yoshi. Yoshi can turn into different vehicles that are fun to control. The bosses are unique as well. The only problem I have with this game is that you can loss in a stage where you don't know where to go. Just going round and round until you figure out where to go next. The good part about that is that you don't have a timer but in the end you just be frustratingly loss. Oh and everytime Yoshi get hit. Baby Mario will fly away which adds to a level of annoyance of finding him back. Played the game until level 3 after that I am done. I give it a C-Rank

Super Castlevania IV

A classic

You play a Simon Belmont a vampire hunter off to face Dracula. The game is very linear with you needing to go from point A to point B before the timer runs out. You have classic Castlevania weapons such as a knife, boomerang and holy water. The bosses are challenging but once you get boomerang it is a piece of cake. The only problem I have with this game is that one wrong move can you send dead falling down a cliff. The platforming needs to be precise but the controls seem stiff. I played 80% of the game and watch the last 20% on YouTube. This game is one of the best on the SNES. A-Rank for me 

Stunt Race FX

 Amazing graphics for a SNES game

A 3D racing game with very impressive graphics for it's time. You have three cars to choose each with different stats. The funny thing is the smaller car has the worse speed and handling. There are racers and stunt courses. The racers are fine. Straightforward. The stunt racers however are super difficult due to having a timer. Finish all the racers and call it a day. I give it a B-Rank since it's an ok game. Nothing to exciting 

Street Fighter Alpha 2

This game is amazing if you see the youtube in making it

This is a different timeline version of street fighter. Or maybe a prequel. Really I have no clue. There are 20+ fighters each with its own distinctive fighting style. What is different than previous games. Each fighter has it's on super meter which can be executed into super moves. Controls are tight. Gameplay is fun. This is a very enjoyable game. No complaints. It a very good game. Played one round and that's about it. I give it a B-Rank since it's a fighting game so it's best to be played with someone else  

Power Rangers Zeo - Battle Racers

 This is a fun racing game

This is a different take on the power rangers. Usually it is a beat em up but this time they made it into a racer. You can choose 5 different racers each with their own stat. It uses the mode 7 SNES graphics so the tracks really feel a lot like mario kart. The racing game is fun and that's about it. I finish the gran prix. I give this game a B-Rank because it was entertaining 

Power Drive

An isometric rally game

This is basically a racing game where you have two cars to choose from and you race in a couple of dirt tracks. What do I like about this game? The racing is quite good. But other than that nothing much. It is just a simple racer. There damage points are so high that by the 3rd race you don't have enough money to pay for the repairs. .So that means I just finish the game until the 3rd race. I give it a D-Rank. You shouldn't play this 

Pocky and Rocky

Its a shooter which is very unique

You play as a girl or a racoon and need to fight bad guys by shooting paper or leaves to them. The game is very enjoyable. The difference than most shooters is that you can control your speed so that you can stay at the place or move if you want. I played until the first stage until I calls it quit. I give it a C-Rank. 

Pieces

A literal puzzle game

This is about a puzzle game where you need to put puzzle pieces before your opponents put the puzzle pieces together. Its basically 1 v 1 but on puzzles. During that time you will get power ups like taking an opponents pieces away. Hints and stuff. Overall is it an okay game. B-Rank after finishing a round with the computer  

The Peace Keepers

A Final fight ripoff

You play as 4 guys who needs to stop a bad guy from doing something I guess. The fighting is good. Each of them have their own power. Other than that the game is freaking hard. The bosses hit you like a ton of bricks. Played the game with all characters. I give the game a D-Rank. Best to be played with others 

NBA JAM

2 on 2 basketball which is fast paced

Play as 2 players from the NBA and you try to score using over the top moves. It's a basketball game there is nothing much to talk about. I don't like that you only control one of the player so the computer has to do some of the work. Other than that the game is fine I guess. I gave it a B-Rank since I played it once and I kinda enjoyed it  

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers The Fighting Edition

You play as either the Thunder Megazord or the Tiger Megazord. You play by fighting other MEgazords and also monster in different stages. The gameplay is great since there is a lot of different combos you can do with a 4 button system. There is button combos to get power moves. The game is short and after you beat the game you can play a VS mode. Nothing much I don't like since it is a simple SNES game. A-Rank for me since I really did enjoy myself 

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers

 Bandai does make great SNES games

Based on the best pop culture of the 90s You play as one of the rangers and beat everyone up until you beat the boss in the end. The gameplay is easy. You play without changing into the rangers first and once you change you are stronger than before. Each ranger has a unique weapon which have different types of animations. The best part of the game is after you finish all the 5 stages on the 6 stage you play as the Megazord which is super awesome. There is nothing much I didn't like about this. It was a good game. I give it a A-Rank.

Magic Sword

 A rouge like before it was a thing

You play as a warrior and you need to climb a tower to fight demons. This game basically you just go from one floor to floor and just try to survive. I love this game. Every floor has keys and the keys you use to open locks. The best part of opening locks is that you have companions that help you in your quest. So far I found a bald mage, white mage, ninja, archer, dragon, barbarian, bomb throwing guy, knight. Each give you projectile weapons that help with long range combat. For every 5 floors you climb up. There is a boss that you need to fight. The boss fights are challenging and fun. The problem with this game is that it gets to overwhelming at time. There are a lot of enemies on screen that it makes the game encounters slowdown. There are also some bad guy who just spam attack you a lot. I finish the game until floor 30. There are 20 floors left but I don' think I will play it again. I give this game a B-Rank. 

The Lion King

This game is freaking unfair

Based on the Disney movie with the same name. You basically play to all the best moments from the movie. The game consist of jumping, dodging obstacles and the constant fighting against the other animals. The problem with this game is that it is so freaking hard. I think the problem was that this game was so short that the creators make some unfair obstacles to make it harder for someone to finish it. There are some puzzles that quite hard to solve. I lost this game in a certain area where there is a boulder keeps falling down and I keep on dying again and again. It is a fun game but I don't think you can finish it.

Lamborghini American Challenge

 A fun license game

This game is about you driving a Diablo SV around the US of A to challenge other drivers to become the best racer

This game is simple. Go to an area challenge the other racers by placing bets. If you win the racer you also win the bets as well. With the money you earn you buy upgrades and there is secret car to get after you race a lot of times

There are a couple things that I don't like as well. The game is ridiculously hard without the proper upgrade. So unless you know cheats you will just end up losing. 

As for the game I finish the game until the final race. I can say this game falls on the B-Tier of games. It's fun to play. Oh and it's on PC as well.   

Knights of the Round

This game is not that bad

What is it about?

What did I liked?
The action is face paced 
3 characters with different fighting styles. Arthur is the all rounder 
Leveling up which will cause you to gain better armor and powers. 
If you die you continue right on the spot 

What I didn't liked?
They only give you two lives which is really small
Some of the bad guys are cheap

Super Mario World

I've been a community of a new group of retro gamers called Factory Sealed and every 2 weeks they will give a game for everyone to try. I think I am going to start trying to play their recommendations and see if I like it or not

What is it about?

Mario needs to save Yoshi and his friends and also Princess Peach from the Bowser and his kids

What I liked? 

Traditional Mario platforming 

Stages are unique and provide a certain challenge 

Power-ups. The cape provide a fast way to skip everything in the stage

Yoshi provide a certain vulnerability 

What I didn't liked?

This game is hard. You need to have cat like reflexes in order to avoid all the traps and bad guys appearing on stage

The Forest of illusion. You can get stuck in there for a while if you don't know where to go 

The ghost castle. You also need to know where to go because you can get lost in there quite easily 

Status: Finish the game until the credits 

Fun Factor: Worth to play once but that's about it 

Kirby Super Star

A fun Kirby game

What is it about?

What I liked?

Kirby games have always been a simple pickup and play but it's still hard to get by. It offers a a challenging gameplay 

The ability to suck enemies and take their abilities. Which sounds cool but sometimes you get a weird powers such as being a rock

What I didn't liked?

Nothing much. It's not grown breaking or anything.
