What is it about?
15 years in a post apocalyptic future. A father and two sons must survive the night by barricading their house every night

The Good
I think Nic Cage does this as a favor to someone. The story is not bad but I think his role was less than 10 minutes of the movie    
The brothers have good chemistry together 

The Bad
Since this movie is made on a budget. We really can't see what is happening
There is always a bad guy in this story 

The Ugly
The ending

Verdict: Quite a boring movie. Skip it

Doom Patrol Season 4

The last season of a somewhat weird show 

Where did we left off: Honestly I have no idea. Doom Patrol has always been a show that I don't actually know the plot of what is going on. All I can say that this season there is a new bad guy who wants their life essence and they have to stop it

Is this for everyone: No, I can say that Doom Patrol you need to like the characters in the first place. I do like all the characters. Everyone has a chance to shine here. You will get a good backstory for each character and in the end you can't help but fall in love with the characters 

The musical episode: They finally did a musical episode. And the songs are very catchy. If you one to watch an episode. Just watch episode 9. Special appearance by Brendan Fraiser and Matt Bomer (They only provide voices) 

Ending: Everyone has an ending. Some happy, some okay and some sad. The last 5 minutes with Cliff  was the saddest moment in tv I ever watch. Overall it was an okay show. Seen once and will be forgotten 

Week 21 - Two movies in a week

Another good week in my book. There are some hiccups but for me this has been a low key week. I love when the weeks are like this

May 19

• Went to watch a movie IF with family and wife's cousin and student. The movie was not bad at all
• Had Nando's for dinner

May 20

• Wife back pain is getting worse. Couple with her blood pressure is not going down. I am very worried about her. The problem is that, there is nothing much I can do about this. All I can do is just make her feel as comfortable as I can.

May 21

• Went to watch a nighttime movie with wife’s best friend (it was her birthday)
• Mom is here

May 22

• Went for a walk in the park. It was nice

May 23

• H1 has English listening today and her friend decided to stay the night

May 24

• Brought H1 and friend to eat some fried chicken
H1 had to ruin the day by being rude to wife. Now wife is in a bad mood. Good thing wife is okay by the time I sleep.

May 25

• H2 has graduation ceremony soon. So we went to the mall to find the formal attire. We didn't find the vest but we did find the skirt

Next week is going to be a bit busy with a lot of other events happening. I hope I can finish Super Mario before June.

Sheriff: Narko Integriti

 The last time I watch a local movie was 6 years ago. 

What is it about?
It's about a police officer (Sheriff) who hunts other corrupt police officers

The Good
The story is not bad. It has a lot of plot twists 
Malaysian cinema has improved over the year. The movie action is not over the top but it is believable
The characters each have their own motivation on why they do what they do 

The Bad
For the title character he has like less than 30 minutes of screen time. They are most focus wit the other characters rather than him. Which sucks because his character is the interesting one 
Bad guy is too cliché. 
Ending was predictable 

The Ugly
Too many slow motion shots. 

After Credits: No

Verdict: Not bad at all. I enjoyed the movie    

Deadloch

This show is really a funny suprise

What is it about? In a small rural town call Deadloch where everyone knows everyone. There has been a murder and it is up to two detective to find out who the actual killer is before more bodies starts dropping

Funny as heck: This show is so funny. With their Australian accents and Australian references that if you were there that you can only get. You will end up finishing the episode with a smile. All characters have great chemistry with each other 

8 episodes: Each episodes the keep unraveling the mystery only to get a new mystery come around. In the end we will end up guessing who is the actual killer. 

Season 2: Not sure if there is one. The story is wrapped up nicely but I wouldn't mind it. 

IF

Do you ever have an imaginary friend 

What is it about?
About a girl trying to reunite displaced Imaginary Friends to new kids and find something for as well

The Good
The movie is a fun and easy going. Even if it deals with hard issues 
The IF designs are interesting and all have different personalities 
The IF are voice by the who's who of Hollywood with Brad Pitt making a cameo 

The Bad
This movie doesn't really explain about how the girl is allowed to go 
The Ending is good but they really don't explain what happens to the IF once they find somebody.

The Ugly
The Marshmallow IF. That is Ugly 

After Credits: Yes but it doesn't set up anything 

Verdict:  A good family movie. Fun for everyone 

Week 20 - I am sick

 I am sick this week. Which really sucks because it effects my nose and I am coughing a lot. Other than that life is just on auto cruise. I don't mind. There are ups and down but nothing substantial

May 13

• H1 got physics today
• Wife gave gifts to her stop students. Plus today is her official day back at work

May 14

• H1 got chemistry and language today.
• I think I got H1 cold

May 15

• I am officially sick. Got my antibiotics. It is going to be a long 5 days
• I got another regular student for my class.

May 16

• H1 Last paper of the week Chemistery
• H1 went on date. The guy is wife's student. He treated her ice skating and sushi
• I hate being sick. I didn't do any class in the evening so I can rest my voice. It doesn't seem to be helping

May 18

• Today wife cousin has an event of planting trees at the house. She came and cook breakfast while her colleagues came and plant trees. After that they played with the cats
• H2 has an archery competition. She entered for fun and got a participation medal
• I wasn't in a good mood in the morning. I don't want to tell her but I feel sad that I am poor. Everyone else is enjoy their money while I have no money. I think it was my fault to begin with but it is okay. I know that my time is not now and it will come eventually. I just have to lift my chin up I guess. The sad part in all of this I can't share this with her because whatever she says will just make me annoyed. It is probably just me. I don't need anyone to solve my problems for me. Sigh...
• In the evening wife's past students came to visit. I cooked olio. Someone brought a blueberry cake and then we ordered pizza. One of her students was asked to stay due to living far away. I decided to sleep early because I was super tired.

So I think I want to try to lose so weight. I am 83kg and that is not that great. So back to my normal habits of Fasting. Exercise and portion control. Try my best to control my sweet intake as well.
