Day 1

Okay first day of the 100 day challenge... 

Weight: 83.9

Belly inches: 42 inches 

100 burpees: Did it in 31 minutes 24 seconds. 40 times and then felt sick. 30 times and then rest and another 30 times. So tomorrow I’m going to try something different... it’s consistency not doing it fast 

Breakfast: Skip

Lunch: Half a chicken bimbibab. 1/8 of Korean pancake 

Dinner: Half white rice, some seafood tomyam, one big cup of vegetables in oyster sauce, 3 small piece chicken 

Sweets: one nibble of a cookie 

Body: Thighs are starting to feel something 

99 days to go 

Well... I’m fat

Today my best friend showed me how much weight she lost. And she is in her skinny jeans while I however gain more weight now than ever. I’m in my fatty jeans... so I decided I want to do something about it for 100 days...

I’ve been googling about it... should I intermittent fast? Should I just eat meats? Should I just ran a marathon 

I think I’m going to do the simple method 

For 100 days I’m going to

Cut sweets 

Control my eating (Less carbs, more protein and more veggies) 

100 burpees a day (I know that sounds a lot but I’ll be in the gym for 1 hour 30 mins on a normal day so this is close enough) 

Weigh myself every week 

Do a journal 

I need to weigh myself... I’ll do that tomorrow 

So if I start tomorrow I’m going to end on 30th October 2020

Superliminal

An interesting game about perspective

Genre: Puzzle

What is it about?

You are a participant in a dream study where to escape you need to see everything in a different perspective. 

What I liked?

The puzzles are fun and it does test your brain to think of the solutions differently 

The story while there is not too much. It is just the right amount. 

You'll end up in the empty room and it is a satisfying to figure out how to get out of it

A 3D picture that actually looks flat in a different perspective

I love the final message of the game 

What I didn't liked?

Some of the puzzle are just too complicated and they come without any directions. You do end up frustrated at times

The final chapters are some of the loopiest things that you can experience. You'll end up stuck in certain places.  

Status: Finish the game until the credits

Fun Factor: It is a short and fun puzzle game. 

 

Dark Waters

A true story that took 20 years and it's still ongoing 

What is it about?

The story on how a chemical company is slowly poisoning people and one lawyer lifelong mission to stop them

The Good 

The story takes place over the part of 20 years. It is very compelling 

They did convey all side of the story from all angles 

Mark Ruffalo and Anne Hathaway plays their role world 

The Bad

The they didn't show what happens with DuPont in the end. I mean with all the litigation, justice wasn't served in the end of the movie. They did show what happens in the end in the form of texts. So that's good I guess

The Ugly 

Nothing much. Movie was good

After Credits: No

Verdict: A must watch. It  a very serious movie but enjoyable to watch 

Into The Breach

One of satisfying game I played this year

Genre: Strategy 
Platform: Nintendo Switch 
Release Date: 2018

What is it about?

The world is covered by monsters (The Vek) and it's up to a group of pilots to stop them.  The only catch is when they die only one of them can return to a different timeline to start it all over again. It's basically a constant loop.

What I liked?

The game design is simple. Survive 5 rounds of monster attack. What makes it complicated is that you need to maintain the energy grid by protecting the buildings. So the strategy element comes with trying to balance the attack as well protecting the civilians 

Each mech has different abilities and attack pattern. As well as he monsters. Sometimes there is no way to stop an attack and you need to sacrifice your mechs to save everyone

Each island (4 of them) is divided into 8 districts. Each with is own objectives and different environmental hazard. 

An escape pod is available with bonus items. The coveted reactor core makes for better weapon upgrades. 

The ability to change different loadouts and switch different upgrades before each start of a mission

Each achievements makes for added replay value 

Different mechs makes for a different variety of gameplay 

What I didn't like?

Even in easy this game still manage to kick your ass 

Some of the mechs really has little to no offensive attack. So it makes playing a bit more challenging 

Losing at the last stage... So frustrating and yet it makes you want to play it again and again 

Status: Finish the game multiple times and it repeats it again and again.

Fun Factor: This game will stay in My switch forever. If a game can do this it deserves to be in my top 10 game of the year. A must play for everyone.

A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood

A lovely movie about discovering what is the most important in life

What is it about?

A story about a man who needs to interview Mr. Rogers 

The Good

This isn't a story about Mr. Rogers (If you read my past review you know who is Mr Rogers). But rather about the interviewer and the challenge he faces.

Tom Hanks really is Mr Rogers

The story is sad and yet uplifting at the same time 

Always remember you are allow to be sad and you are wonderful for just being you 

The Bad

Nothing much. It's a very simple story 

The Ugly 

I wish I get to experience him. I'm sure Mr Rogers won't like what is happening to the world right now.

After Credits: Yes, mid credit scene 

Verdict: It's an okay movie. I enjoy it  

Uncut Gems

Really gambling is messed up

What is it about?

A obsessive compulsive gambler digs himself into a bigger hole that he can't get out of 

The Good

Who knew Adam Sandler can act like this

The story is very interesting and you really want to know what happens next

Gambling is weird and there are a lot of a small things you can gamble on

The Bad

This is really not a feel good movie. It's really heavy and after you are done you really want to do something else

The Ugly 

Nothing much. I did like the ending

After Credits: No

Verdict: A great movie to watch. But it's very heavy
