Jet Set Radio

Plays like the dreamcast version. This game is a like an old cat... Still good to look at but does not age well.

Game no: 176
Genre: Action
Platform: PS Vita

What's is it about:
Street gangs fight to control the city by using

Gameplay consist of:
- Skating
- Executing tricks
- Graffiti-ing

What I liked:
- Stages has a lot of entr and points and rails to grind
- Grafitti painting never gets bored
- Each character has a unique stats and personality
- New challengers are quite fun to execute
- Camera is not free roam. Due to the fact the dreamcast has one analog stick

What I didn't Liked:
- The constant getting of spray cans when you run out
- The map is confusing to read
- The timer doesn't help because the game ramps up difficulty after you paint a couple of walls. The trick is to plan your path ahead of time.

Status: This game is true to the dreamcast port. Nothing has change even the controllers. Played till the last 3 started and keep on dying. Decided to just YouTube the rest.

Score: Worth to be played at least once

Day 320: Bad day to start the day

Well low and behold as promised. Came to the office and was greeted by the boss. And got a mouthful... He even went to TJ and his boss to scold them. He said he doesn't blame and I should never do someone else work. I feel torn because on the one hand TJ is more than a colleague. He seems very defensive about the issue. In the end we submit the report again. But from the look at it, it seems that we are not going to get it. Other than that... everything was just as normal. I think that I need to review my life choices again.

Level up:+1
Current level: 57

Day 319: The consequences of playing hookie

On Wednesday we had a send a tender that was due at 12 in the afternoon. It was TJ tender to submit. I came to the office early and was compiling the tender and ask TJ a simple question. Where is X document? TJ said "what X document. I was not aware of it". The X document is the important document of all. So I had the honor to do the document.

So I left the office to send the document. After sending the document and had lunch. We got a call from the client. It turns out we were missing a couple of key point in the document. TJ was pissed and I was ok I guess. Was not that pissed since he didn't take it seriously...

Meanwhile in the office:
My boss was pissed off because I left the office without tell him... That story is for the next post

Day 318: Good day today

Today I did work, I went and follow TJ to do his license. We talked about life and changing jobs. He said I really need to pick up on a some skills that can make me worth it for the future. I tend to agree. But being a billionaire is not an easy skill to pick up... Oh well, another 3 more days until the weekend.

Day 317: Busy Monday

Monday I had only one task to do. Which was 2 hours tops. And then other work came piling on and I had to finish everything before 5pm. So I went into overdrive since I need to pick up my daughter before 5pm. All went well. Today (Tuesday) I have a couple of things to do. I do keep myself busy even though my work is not that much.

Day 316: Like I never left

So last week Friday I came back to work.. It's like I never left. There were still stuff to do. I gave all of my colleagues who were there on that day chocolates and stuff and I spend most of my half day clearing out my mailbox which was a lot. In turns out everyone thought I was still on leave. I could have just didn't come to work and no one would notice.

Holiday in New Zealand

So rather that blogging on everyday on what did I do, I decided to blog the whole holiday in 6 simple questions

Who did I:
Went with: My wife, she has business to attend to. Me on the other hand was there for a long 12 days vacation.

What did I:
Do: Among the things I did in no particular order
1) Went to my old stomping grounds. Most of the things still remain the same. only 30 % of items change. Gone is the mall that I use to hang out. Some of the shops have change. The old place where I sue to pray is gone. Now is change with an even better one. Even with coded entry (5739). My wife's old Phd office has moved.. Which was ok I guess
2) Went to Hobbitton. Hobbitton is a place where to shoot the LOTR and Hobbit movies. Just the Shire scene. It is based in a farm. In the middle of the farm is the movie set. The movie set is filled with 47 hobbit holes all with different sizes. This is due for multiple angle and perspective shots. We start from the bottom of the farm until the top of the mountain and come back down to the tavern. Where we are treated with ginger beef (there are alcoholic ones but we can't take that)
3) Went to Tauranga. Where located is Mount Maunganui. Is a big mountain where it will take a couple of hours to climb up.  We took a smaller mountain and we saw a lot of people rafting in the sea. It turns out it was 30km competition rowing in the sea.
4) Shopping, Clothes, chocolate and honey. Finally after 5 years we got an all black shirt. Man thosee things were expensive
5) Eat
Stuff that I eat during my 2 week stay
- Fish and chips, burgerfuel, clam chowder, fried chicken, ice cream, frozen yogurt, bread, avocado, juice and salmon. And there is also malaysian food.

Noticed:
- People are still friendly
- PS Vita is dead in NZ. No store sells it
- Malaysian currency sucks

When:
Did I go; 2 weeks ago for 12 days

Where:
Did I go: Mt Eden, One Tree Hill, Auckland Domain, Dress Smart

Why:
Its awesome to go back but I love Malaysia more. Not sure if I want t migrate there. It gets pretty boring after a while.
