Day 4: Its a small world after all

Today met a very interesting duo. Both of them work on a different floor. But the more interesting part is one of them is a cousin. More like 2nd cousin... Probably.. I am not that sure. Both of them treat me for lunch today. Give me the low down about the organization. It turns out that you need to be able to cover your own ass in case something goes wrong. Emails are very important... Above all, always back up your work... Loving this place more and more...

Day 3: All by myself...

Today most of my friends that I've met this past couple of days were absent from work today. So lunch by myself... Not a big deal. My boss is super busy so I decided to look at reports from past projects since sitting down doing nothing is wayyyyyy fun... Let's see if I can get out right on the dot

It's day 4 and I forgot to post day 3 day... Have to remind myself of to do it before sleep. On the plus side I got almost 95% of my company stuff including shirts

Day 2: Ready... Set... Go

Finally got my laptop set up. Now I can start learning about my job. Seems pretty straightforward from the looks of it. There are probably a lot of technical jargon I need to learn about. But I see that as a challenge. My boss already given me my first project. Still unsure of what I am supposed to do... Made a couple more new friends for lunch today. People in the office are saying that my department is the most hectic department in the whole company... What the fudge I've gotten myself into... Before I left I got my new phone which is another iPhone but this time is a 5S. 

Day 1: Brave New World

The My first day of work so I decide to keep a journal. This will be written concurrently with the day I'm having. Only the good parts so I don't go insane when I come back.

Still having the Monday blues waking up. I think I'm going to have the everyday blues until the time I get back home

Arrived at the office. Made good time since I left quite late.

Came to the office and everyone is very friendly. Breakfast is provided but my tummy says maybe not...

At the bank right now. I met another dude who first day is today as well. But he is at the 1st floor and I am on 18th... Oh well at least Google maps help guide us to the bank

Finish my tot of the building. The 18 story building is quite huge. Among the perks so far is free flow drinks. Can wear anything to work which probably I might do after a while and everyone seems nice. I went to the toilet just now and after flushing the whole office went dark. Great first day so far. Now I am waiting in my cubicle for my boss to come to me...

It turns out Monday is meeting day... It's been 2 hours already

Met my colleague. KC. Awesome guy very helpful. I have nothing yet right now so I am ask to just sit at my cubicle. Oh and there is a client meeting that I need to attend at 3. Just to gain experience...

KC treated me to lunch at a Thai place. Mention stuff about the business. All was good. Going for a client meet soon.

Meeting with client. Today the sales team and pre sales need to convince someone to buy their product. I just sit there and act knowledgeable.

Meeting finished and now back to the office. After staring at the wall I finally got my access card and parking card... Woot

Back home... Tomorrow rinse repeat and reuse

Game: Jackie Chan Action Kung Fu

Genre: Platformer 

Platform: NES

Overview: I've played this game 20 years ago and I remember it being monstrously hard. Playing it on my handheld is much better. There are save states all around so I can make sure I didn't die that fast. This game is hard. Makes you wonder that the money that you spend for a single cartridge, the game must last long

What I liked: Power ups, bosses, platforming 

What I didn't liked: difficulty, dying and starting again. No save points

I've got a job

Finally after being a professional hobo for 7 years I am finally beginning a new chapter in my life. Employment. I'm scared and excited at the same time. But it's about due time that i start doing something with my life. This does mean that I probably won't hit my 24 game mark. But it's still too early to tell... I am changing the way I write the blog by making a work journal. Probably going to be publish one day. No names of course but it's going to be fun otherwise...

Furious 7

The final chapter for the late Paul Walker. Glad they make the movie that he doesn't die in the end. The action is over the top unrealistic, the bad guy is a cliché, the cars are fast and the rock is invincible. But it's a great summer movie. This movie is going to do well. There is probably going to be a fast 8 in the near future. Hope they can find someone as good as Paul walker... May he rip...
