What is it about?
A window cleaner needs to stop terorrist from killing the hostages 

The Good
There are some decent action scenes 
The movie is a good 90 minutes which I like

The Bad
The movie established she is a good climber but none of that was shown that much during the movie 
Action only happens the last 20 mins. Most of the time is about her dangling out side the building 

The Ugly
Why is it the only hero is always Ex something. Ex special forces, Ex Marines. She was the best soldier in the company. They quit their job for some blue collar work. I called shenanigans on this. 
The autistic brother? Was he necessary. I mean they can just make him a brother. Doesn't have to be autistic 

After Credits: No 

Verdict: Can avoid. There are better movies out there

A game about climbing

I have heard about this game for a while now. The premise seems interesting since we are just climbing up a tall structure until we reach the end. This is basically the gameplay but what makes this game intersting is that you need to figure out how to climb the tall mountain when there are not that many visible perches. This game is divided into 6 different chapters. Each chapter has its own unique climbing obstacles. There is one where the perchs are insects and are moving and you need to time your jumps carefully 

What I didn't like about this game. Well nothing actually. This game is fun and in the end of the day that is a good thing. I didn't care about the story that much. They did leave a lot of lore scattered around the world but it didn't grab me as much. The path is not clearly shown and sometimes you will spend your times wondering around because you were lost.

However, this game has excellent climbing mechanics. The climbing alone is worth the price of admission to the game. The stamina meter makes you need to plan your climbs properly and know when to stop and went to give it the one final push. The game is under 4 hours which is good since it doesn't overstayed its welcome. Overall I like this game and it is one of the ones tha tI am glad I tried. This game deserve an A-Rank

Week 35: South Korean Vacation

This week is my birthday and also his is the first overseas family vacation. Korea was amazing. I wish I could visit it again one day but this is motivation for me to work hard to safe more money to go overseas more.

 24 Aug (Vacation) 🎂

• Did classes till 830 and then went to have breakfast with my best friend. We had nasi kerabu with beef fat. It was delicious. We also talked a lot about our future and things we need to get done 

• After that run some errands. The maid ask me to get some stuff 

• Continue packing and weighing. After that I took a nap 

• My best friend is in Terengganu. They are have some alone time at a hotel 

• At 6pm wife friend arrive to bring us to the airport 

• Arrived at the airport around 7:30pm. Set up her wheelchair and head to the special assistance counter where they have to check in all our bags and wheelchairs as well. They gave a loaner wheelchair 

• Had some family mart because I was hungry 

• Took the buggy to the international terminal and waited at the surau. 

• Pass the security checkpoint where we had to discard our liquid and now we are in airplane. Due to wife having a wheelchair. We need to be the last to leave 

• Today is my birthday. I am 41. Alhamdulillah.

Aug 25 (Vacation) 

• During the flight I slept. Around 2am they gave us a meal of Nasi lemak. 

• Arrived at Incheon close to 7am and due to wife being in a wheelchair we were given priority we were out of the airport by 8am. I got a nice birthday card from the cabin crew 

• Met with our guide. My wife student (who is just 1 year younger than me) and then after a simple breakfast we took the bus to town 

• Our hotel was a 5 min walk up the hill. It was a small and cosy room. 

• We left our bags and had for lunch where I had some tofu with egg and fried chicken

• After that we went on a short excursion on the shopping spots around the city 

• Came to our took a short nap and at 530pm we headed to Namsan tower. We walked there and Korea is a hilly area. So wife wheelchair switched from electric mode and manual mode (where I have to push) when she went down hill. Due to us having a wheelchair we got priority when going in the cable cars 

• The peak was nice. There were a lot of padlocks of people declaring their love for one another. Lots of restaurants as well. We went to an OLED tv tunnel. It was trippy and hot due to the heat 

• We ended the day by having some beef barbecue and dakgalbi chicken. Came home close to 11

Aug 26 (Vacation) 

• Did my first classes from Korea with the help of the Steamdeck 

• After getting ready and having breakfast (it was toast with some buns) that was from the hotel we made it our way to ride 4 different trains 

• The trip took us almost 2 hours and after the final strench taxi ride we finally arrived to the Nami Island port 

• Taking the 7 min ferry we can see the lake fill with a lot of water sports activities 

• The island itself was beautiful. It was made famous from the movie Winter Sonata. It has lush greenery and a lot of woodland creatures from rabbits, chipmunks, squirrels, ostriches and peacocks

• After exploring the island for 6 hour we took the 6pm ferry and took the 2 hour train ride back home 

• H1 wanted to go shopping so we gave her some money and she followed the guide shopping while me and wife went home

• At our room we cleaned our room and had some fresh grape at the lobby.  

Aug 27 (Vacation)

• Today we made our way to Gyeongbokgung Palace. We had to take 2 buses and the trip took around 40 minutes. I notice that the buses here tend to be fast. You need to go right away if not they get annoyed

• Once we arrived at the palace we saw the changing of the guard. It was very impressive. We sat near the big drum and when they hit it. It vibrated everywhere

• We went to get Hanbok which is a traditional Korean attire. The girls were excited to get their clothes. I was just okay. The clothes were okay and very comfortable but they don't have any pockets so I can't hold my phone and the bluetooth wheelchair remote

• Since the wife hanbok was big so she can't drive her wheelchair so I control it using bluetooth control. That place is not suitable for a wheelchair so wife walked most of the way. 

• After all the girls took a lot of pictures it was time for us to return the clothes and go for lunch

• Wife almost fainted due to heat exhaustion. Good thing our guide was well prepared for it. 

• We finally got to our lunch place which was at Halal Guys. It was the same Halal Guys in the New York. The food was amazing

• After that the girls went shopping, I went to pray at a restaurant and then close to 7pm we went back  

• Back at the hotel we ate some Korean ramen and talked till 1030pm

• On other note I got a text from someone unexpected. There is this girl I follow on X. She is attractive and a lot of guys just like to talk to her but she decide to ask me for help and money due to unforeseen circumstances. So yeah I made a new friend. A birthday gift from me I guess. What did I do to deserve this 

Aug 28 (Vacation)

• After breakfast we start the day by taking the train and going to the mall. Wife wanted to watch a K-pop group in 5D. They strap a VR helmet on her and the chairs move

• While she was doing that me and the girls went to the aquarium. Over there, there are a lot of seafood wildlife including seals, crocodile, sharks and stingrays

• After both of our activities. We headed to Hongdae to go eat some korean bbq with some fried chicken. The food was amazing as well as the bill. it was close to 600 bucks.

• H1 and H2 did some shopping and bought some clothes. H1 went to the same shop the third time and they were excited when she came. After that we headed to the k-pop store and she bought a lot of merchandise 

• Came back to the room and start packing. Slept around 1am.

Aug 29 (Vacation) 

• Today we did free an easy. I ate leftovers from yesterday's restaurant for breakfast. Also I ask for an hour late checkout

• H1 woke up early morning to go with the guide to a live k-pop idol event. She got to met all of her idols and was very happy

• Both H1 and the tour guide came back with lunch and we ate it and by 3pm we left for the airport. The trip took us around 1 hour +

• Came to the airport we were among the first but we were among the last to leave because checking in her electric wheelchair takes a long time. But the Korean ground staff was so helpful they got me and wife upgraded to the front row while the girls at the back 

• We also get to check in first in line. Overall Korea was magical. 5 days we got to visit places that we never thought we could go. Our guide was amazing. I told the family 2 rules for our next holiday. First no more summer holidays since its just too hot and my guide is a must on our next overseas vacation. 

Aug 30 (Vacation End)

• Flight arrived late because in midair we had to detour to a longer route which cause us an extra hour of travel. By the time we land and got out of the terminal and into our friends car the time was already close to 3am

• The girls were hungry and watend some McDonalds. Could you believe that we found 4 mcdonalds and all of them were close or had some issues. At the last McD we got them some hotcakes

• Came home and everyone jsut went to bed but not me. I got class at 530am. So I took a shower and then start my class till 10am 

• Came home we found out that my sister in law didn't pay her outstanding phone bill which cause the whole doesn't have any internet. I use my phone to conduct my classes 

• After that wife ordered some breakfast/lunch for us. Had some nasi kerabu and then I need to go to the phone shop to settle the bill. H2 left her phone behind my friends car. So I need to go find her and pick up her phone. By the time I arrive hope it was already close to 1pm and I took a 2 hour nap

• Did more classes, exercises and for dinner we ate mcD

• Talk to my new friend. They are going through something. I am glad I could ease and help them anyway I can.

With that next week will be back to normal. H2 will go back to school. Wife to work. But H1 got 2 weeks off. So I am going to be a bit busy cooking and also working. The good news is that I got +1 games played so I am good on that. 

Capcom vs. SNK: Millennium Fight 2000

I love fighting games. This did the trick

I love crossovers. There is nothing much for me to review a fighting game. It's just a basic concept of two guys enter a stage and one will leave victorious. In this case teams of two (Capcom style) or 3 (SNK style) fight off until whoever is declare the winner. I never understood SNK fighting techniques. I mean I get the how to control the characters but I don't know how to execute the Supers. So the whole crossover Super moves is also a bit confusing. Excuting an SNK character super but using a Capcom fighting style takes a while getting used to. Other than that nothing too fancy. There is no end cinematics. Its just basically texts. I do like the art style which is drawn by SNK artist. Makes the characters look real. I give this game an A-Rank. 

The Diplomat Season 2

This show is my new favourite drama 

Where we left off: Season 1 was trying to figure out who blew up the attack ship. Season 2 is trying to prove who actually did it 

Why this show rocks: This show makes it sound complicated but easy to follow. Keri Russell is amazing in this show. It tries to be serious with some funny moments added to it

Geopolitical issues: We don't know this but geopolitics are so complicated but in the end of the day this show shows how America is trying to maintain power in a place is that is ever changing. Democary is complicated

Cliffhanger: Season 2 ended in a crazy cliffhanger. Season 3 is coming in October with Season 4 is confrimed. Plus With Allison Jenny and Brandley Withford (West Wing fans rejoice). I am going to take my time to watch this 

Week 34: Me and my friend are talking again

 Aug 17

• Wife best friend from high school is coming over for lunch so after picking up the maid to clean the house I bought some food at the nearby store

• Wife's friend gave her a very expensive Kate Spade handbang that cost 400 Euros. 

• In the evening the girls minus H1 went to see mother in law to bring her for evening tea.

• After class I picked her up and later send the maid home. 

Aug 18

• After sending wife for her training I went to do some groceries and had some lunch

• Cook some chicken kurma for lunch 

• Brought wife for lunch during her break

• Went to the mall and got a haricut,  bought a power bank and got my screen protected replaced. After that I decided to buy my wife some prefume. I know I could the money more but I can get it back eventually.

• During at the phone shop I met a young man who told me the economics of Labubu. He pre orders them in advance and sell them for 10% profit to customers in China. 

• H1 brought H2 to see her aunt and the hotel.

• In the evening I got a call from a number in the Philippines try to scam me but after 20 mins I got bored I blocked the number.

• My friend call me but I was busy but when I call again they didn't answer. I think they are trying to get a reaction from me. But I have no reaction. Sad but still no reaction. 

Aug 19

• After sending wife to work pick up the girls. H1 is sick so she needs to go to the clinic. Wife ask to take both of them and give them flu shots

• Registered for the lounge access

• Lunch with wife and came home for a nap

• Pick up wife at 430 and it started to rain heavily 

• Cooked fried rice and H2 ate leftover. 

• Wife told dad was sick and she is worried. Hopefully today he will go to the hospital but knowing that old man, he is going to be stubborn as always. 

Aug 20 🎂 

• Went to the bank with H2 to settle her banking issue. Change some money to Korean Won. After that we ate some ramen

• Came back home and rest 

• Said happy birthday to my friend. We kinda made up. I mean we talked for an hour. For a moment I was happy. But I know now how to handle her so it’s going to be better going forward 

• father in law was not feeling great so after wife finished her work we drove 50 mins to see him. He doesn’t want to go to the hospital even after wife keeps asking him to. We left close to 11 after he went to bed. 

Aug 21

• Today make some soy chicken

• Went for lunch with wife and her work friends

• In the evening went to see some clothes at the mall

Aug 22

• Wife needed me to buy her trainers some uniqlo gift cards. After that I went to get some lunch. 

• Wife didn't want to work after lunch so we went home 

• Dad in law finally went to the hospital due to feeling unwell. So they checked him in and tomorrow they may do an operation 

• H1 finally finished her foundations study. Coming September she will be a first year degree student. She came home with her boyfriend for dinner

• Printed all the documents needed for the trip 

Aug 23

• Both H1 and wife got into a fight since I had to pick up my mom at the airport and wife needs to go to the clinic. She has H1 to drive but H1 didn't want to drive. So they started a fight in the chat. H2 got fed up and left the group. In the end wife went alone with H2

• Met mom at the airport. She bought 20kgs of books for her reunion tomorrow. After sending her to the hotel she treated me to a birthday lunch. I had some curry noodles while she had some mee rebus. We shared a fried radish cake. Food was okay. 

• Came home and took a nap and at 8pm started packing. H2 make pancakes for dinner

• Pick up the maid and continue packing. Slept late at 1230 but I can't sleep. Probably travelling nerves.

The Godfather Part III

I don't get this movie 

What is it about?
The final chapter in the Godfather series. This time Micheal business is legitamate and he is trying to balance his family as well on how to deal with his enemies. 

The Good
Its nice seeing all the characters again but this time a bit older
There are some action scene that are awesome 

The Bad
I don't understand the main plot but I get the gist of it. I don't think this sequel is necessary.

Really bad overacting...

Verdict: Can skip. I just watch to complete the trilogy
