Spectre

The first five minutes is an awesome single frame shot... The start of a good Bond movie... After that is was a long drag... There were a couple great action sequences... And they were a lot of talking. The talking parts could be cut a bit short. The chase scene includes running, plane to car, car to car, boat to helicopter. Bond must be taking classes in aiming since he keeps on getting 100% kills. He even shoot a helicopter in the air while he is on a boat...  Casino Royale had it better.

Day 128: Lots of benefits

Today as I began another lazy Friday... (unless I have something due, I really hate to work on Friday's). Got to the office, had breakfast (after 2 weeks). At 10 got a fire safety talk. That was fun and informative. Learned a lot and I have to get some fire extinguishers as well as some smoke detectors. In the evening was the bi-monthly company meeting. The CEO announce that since the company is doing well, we all get to share the perks. Among the perks are,  more leave for next year (yay!!!) better medical plan (even better) and couple of other benefits that are not that important. Overall good day today... Can't wait for next week. Good evening and have a great weekend

What's good

- Diverse characters but each with a projectile, strength, flight powers

- Spider-Man is way overpowered 

- Story line is funny

- lots of side goals

What's bad 

- Can't advance without collecting enough gold bricks 

- Some bosses are cheap

- Lego breaks easily 

Status: 271/450 gold bricks. Finished the main storyline.

Day 127: Chicken and Egg

No, that's not what I had for lunch. That is the constant bickering of the sales team and the technical team. The sales team says "upgrade your infrastructure so we get more clients"... And the tech team says "how to upgrade the infrastructure when we don't have clients" I just stood at the back at smile. It seems that everyone has a plan to proceed next year. But it all comes down to money. Besides that I just found out that the we have won the project and all because I did the tender (well part of it). So I got thanked. If this was facebook I will be feeling appreciated...

Day 126: I feel appreciated

Yesterday i took Emergency Leave due to family stuff. So today I'm back at work. In the morning. My colleague invited me to attend a meeting. We all had lunch together. I came back to the office around 130pm. My HR manager as me to accompany her to the bank. In the middle of the bank trip. She said she wanted to eat sushi. So I went for 2nd lunch. Came back at the office around 3pm. Did 90 mins of work and left. I kind of love it everyone seems to want me around helping them and doing stuff. Hopefully tomorrow I have a better day not going anywhere.

Day 125: Freedom

This is going to be a long post. Basically this weekend is not a holiday for me. I had to work and get all of the tender documents ready. On Sunday after all my family obligations, at 6pm I went to the office and finished all of the stuff that is due. I worked till 930 and I think I've printed out more than 400 pages. There were a lot of wasted paper. After 9 I went back and had a steak dinner. Which was yummy. 

Today I came and frantically finish the last minute items that needed to be complete. Everyone also pitched in. Some help wrapped the document, some help burn it into a disc. (Which is a waste since less than 10MB). I went with my friend to send the tender and before 12 our mission was complete. There was another due but it wasn't my responsibility. But I still helped when needed. At 230 my whole team went for lunch and it's free from my friend. Yay... Now I can finish my pet project
