Week 17 - Still on the Eid mood.

This week is just be a normal week for me. I mean there is drama but nothing I can't handle. Ended with food so that is always good. 

Apr 21
• so it turns out that my mother bribe some police official so that’s a jail able offence. Other than that it was the same story as before minus mom in laws signature
• My neighbor invited the family for a Eid brunch. We ate nice food. Finally got to see her house which was beautiful and watch some tv. After that I had to go back and go grocery shopping because wife students are coming
• Today wife’s students from 2013 came to the house to have a reunion. The last time the whole of us were in a group was 7 years ago. Now everyone is married and have children of their own. I cooked some curry chicken. The maid made some friend chicken and veggies. One brought cake and brownies. Overall it was an awesome time. Took pictures and laugh, the last guest left at 745 which gave me time to do some classes
• Me and wife had bad poops 💩.

• H1 first day of IGCSE. Her first paper is Art and Design.
• So I got a call from my cousin asking if my Mother in Law (MIL) is still wanting to sell her house. She found an offer for 2.5 million. After talking to my wife we presented the offer to her. My wife got yelled at and been called "unwise and crazy". That really hurt her feelings and I know what is going to know is going to happen next.
• I was right. Last night around 1am she cried herself off. I really am super pissed off at my MIL. So starting today I am going to distance my wife from her for as long as I can. She can just piss off.

• H1 done her Art and Design project. I'll see if I can include the picture here She also have an Eid party so her test started late

Apr 24
• Today wife had a Eid celebration at her university. 120 students participated and there were a lot of food. We stayed from 12-5. I am so tired.

Apr 25
• Wife went to the labor department that is in charge of labor welfare. So she did a long interview and I was not allowed to join. After the interview they called me in to tell me that the next step in May is meeting the panel of doctors to assess her. I ask what are the chances and they say for back pain is relatively low but we can try. Wife was a bit down. It is a lot of life changing money and she is being very negative about it. I told her we have to try if not we won't know
• My friend who is sad this whole week since her boyfriend didn't called finally is okay. It turns out her boyfriend was giving her the silent treatment because of me. She is still talking to me and her boyfriend didn't like that she kept that from him. Now my friend is going to Europe to see him and is going to pay for his ticket to come and see him. She as for my advice and I advice against it. But she keep defending that guy. After a while I got frustrated and just hang up. I feel sorry for her. She is "love drunk" that she forget that she is being used by this person. This person is making her feel guilty. Oh well... who am I in this conversation. Might as well I just keep quiet and just pray for the best

• Today is open house time. We got 2 invitations to go for open house. One was my wife aunt which makes the best Sambal Jawa ever. I just ate that and I am full.
• The other was my Father in Law invited everyone to come. To also celebrate my nephew birthday as well I guess. Mom tagged along for both parties and have fun. In my FIL house my SIL also brought her in laws as well so that was a fun get together. Plus there were so many food that I didn't eat that much. The problem was going there and coming home. I think we spend like 4 hours on the road.
• I couldn't send my friend to the airport. Well they are off to Europe for a month. Probably see them next month or not. Time will tell I guess.

Next week will be my 18th years anniversary. I didn't plan anything because I was too busy. Hopefully we will do something nice

We Own This City

This is the true story on how it change the entire police force in the states

What is it about? This story is about crooked cops who police the city of Baltimore where they just take what they want and do a lot of false arrest. This series shows how little or no accountability the police had during early years (the events took place between 2012 - 2017) and how the Federal Law enforcement handled it 

Jon Bernthal: Is it just me or this guy has been typecast to play a role that involve someone who doesn't play buy the rules and have a lot of guns. He is the MCU Punisher 

I didn't quite follow the story: This story is told in a form of flashbacks and the present. I understand the main plot of the story but there were too many characters on the table. In the end I just follow one plot point

Do I still want to visit the US? Yes but probably just go to the touristy place. This place is scary...  

The Beekeeper

This is a must watch action movie 

What is it about? 
What happens when the Beekeeper hive is disturb. He goes all queen slayer on everyone else

The Good
This guy just on God mode because he is literally a one man army
Action scene is good. 
The premise is like John Wick. One small action cause a chain reaction that is so that so satisfying to watch 

The Bad
The coincidences are like just staggering 
This movie just ends. Like they ran out of film 

The Ugly
Nothing

After Credits: No

Verdict: This is a good time. Must watch    

Parks and Recreation Season 1

From the creator of The Office 

What is it about? In the town of Pawnee it follow Leslie Knopp and the office of Parks and Recreation. It is basically a single camera comedy (like the office) where we follow them like a documentary 

Is it funny? First season so it's too hard to tell. But they made 7 seasons of it. So I think give it time.  

Main goal: To build a park in a pit which I bet is going to be the 7 season finale of this show

Which characters I like: so far none yet. This season is not that funny as it supposed to be 

Mean Girls

Same movie new premise 

What is it about?
They remake the Mean Girl movie but now it's the form of a musical and I guess smartphones

The Good
Some songs are very catchy 
The story is more or less the same so there is nothing much to expect out of it
A lot of stars from the old Mean Girls movie came for a short cameo 

The Bad 
The story is a tad too long. 
Not sure that if in school people like this still exist but this movie is a sad in this current age. Everyone just want to fit in

The Ugly
Nothing much

After Credit: Yes

Verdict: If you like the old movie, you will enjoy this one I guess 

Walker Season 3

This show has made a fan 

Cliffhanger resolve: Yes. It takes a whole season to resolve the cliffhanger which it's always the case of Walker. It makes you invested in the whole chapter 

CW Drama: This is really a CW show. There is not that much action but more drama and I think I am ok with that. This season mostly focus on the Walker kids Auggie and Stella with the rest have their own issues to deal with.

Big Bad: The big bad is not revealed until 4 last episodes but before that you can figure out what is going on

Another cliffhanger: Yeap... to make a story there is another cliffhanger and I don't think this will get resolved anytime soon. Season 4 coming soon 

Reacher Season 2

You do not mess with the Special Investigators 

What is it about? Reacher is back after one member of his team is found dead thrown off the helicopter. He has to reunite back with his old unit to figure out what is going on. 

Reacher: That guy is something else. He is like a tank. Slow and yet powerful 

The Bad guy: Seeing them get beaten out like a pulp was so good. Reacher is still human but he cam take a punch

Breakout Kings: Shoutout to all the past actors who star in another great series. So far 3/6 of them are in this series
