Money Monster

This is a story about where does your money go in Wall Street. The premise of this movie is simple. A talk show host is taken hostage because 800 million dollars from a single stock went missing overnight. George Clooney and Julia Roberts played their roles well. This movie plot is damn simple it could be an episode of 24 (where 24 is only 1 hour 30 mins). Yeah this movie is damn short. Really not worth to watch it in the cinema. A good thriller and it's a good couple movie

The Nice Guys

A movie that came out of nowhere. Starring to unlike couple but.. It works. The comedy is spot on and it's really funny. The story is about a murder that took place in 1977. It starts two detectives that both are working on different angles  and finally have to work together to solve the case. This movie moves a steady pace that you won't feel to bored down. The comedy works in a lot of levels. Even the slapstick ones. Worth a watch on blu-ray.

Day 301: Here we go again.

I'm starting something new in this post. I will give a brief description on what I did during the weekend. I had a long weekend courtesy of 22 hours working. And plus on Wednesday I basically work from home so I have 5 days off. Here are the stuff that I remember doing during the weekend

[Wednesday] Was my birthday so I had a birthday dinner that night

[Thursday] I think I stayed at home on Thursday. Catch some zzz

[Friday] Went for Birthday Dinner with the kids at Midvalley.. Ate a big fish head...

[Saturday] Went to H house since he did a celebration for his new niece.. And at night my best friend B-man treat me to Hard rock cafe. After there spend 3 hours catching Pokemon.

[Sunday] Had a wedding to attend to and then get ready to go to work

So work.. Let see what happen.. Oh yeah.. Im still here. Its 9.42pm and we have another big tender to submit. So I am stuck doing compiling work again. At least this time I brought an extra set of clothes and I had a bath. So I am a bit refreshed. So what I am going to do now. Catch some zzz before the real work starts.

What's is it about:

A action platformer where a guy and an ottsel travel the whole land searching for artifacts.

Gameplay consist of:

- Jumping

- Fighting

- Platforming

What I liked: 

- The storyline and voiceover is great

- The stages are well crafted 

- No load times

What I didn't Liked:

- This game is a real gem so there is nothing I don't like do I am going to complain on the vita version

Vita port (what's wrong with it)

- Framerate is teribble (the lowest is around 15fps)

- Buggy all around (especially the swings)

Status: Beat the game until the end credits. With 80 powercells

Score: A rare gem, worth to be played multiple times (but not on Vita)

Day 300: It's my Birthday

Happy birthday to me... Happy birthday to me... and I am not in the office. Both of my girls are sick. So today I am working from home and sending them to the hospital to get them check out. My birthday was an uneventful one. I did have a nice dinner with a friend in the evening. Here are my list of things that define me in the past 32 years

9) Left Malaysia and went to Australia. Best 9 Months ever
10) Came back home... back to school didn't like that

13) Secondary School... Hated that place even more
14) Not that bright... Keeps on slipping
15) Middle tier exams... Not that great. Playing PlayStation most of the time

17) Final exam... Got very bad results... Mom was sad... It's time for a change

Day 299: Feeling a bit lightheaded

Yesterday I was back to work after a 22 hour stint. The thing is my body was at the office but my mind was not. It turns out that not sleeping 22 hours can have a certain effect on your body... Everything was throbbing from my head to toe. Even the pain killer I took was not working. In the end I persevered till the end of the day.... Oh yeah, work was as usual

Day 298: 22 Hours

Its 6:53AM. On a monday. I've been here since 2PM on a Sunday.  We have a tender that we need to submit. I am of course useless in doing all the technical write up. I think I can do it if given the chance.. but really who cares. I was called out for always leaving early at work... Well is just harmless colleague banter. Do I care... Actually no... But I am hungry. Breakfast won't come until 7AM. And I can go home until the whole tender is done and dusted. There is still a couple more items left on the checklist. Its 6AM... Got less than 1 hour of sleep. The work is still piling up. I may not do any technical writing or numbers calculating but I do a lot of compiling work. And there are a lot of people who thinks that is menial work. I can say its tedious but it's not even menial. Since every small job helps. 7:45AM breakfast was late and I havent had food since lunch on Sunday... Ate some food and continuing on with work. around 9:30AM everything seems to be in order. at 10:30AM we finished our work. Boss look at me all disheveled (well I haven't slept since yesterday). So he ask me to go home and sleep. Which I did... Overall it is a productive weekend...
