Who is Kamala Khan: A high school student who has the ability to control light due to being half mystical and half human. Plus he is the first muslim superhero

The story: This story is very muslim friendly. Being a pakistani muslim girl in the place where you are marginalise by other people 

Powers: Her powers are more light based than the comic where she is stretchy.  I like this kind of powers since you can make anything with light 

Cliffhanger: It ended with a scene from the Marvels. That will be the last see of Kamala Khan. No ideas if she will be back 

Week 5: I got scammed

Last week of January and this week I got scammed badly out of BTS tickets. I feel like an idiot. I have no one but myself to blame so I will pull myself back up and recover. Other than that. The week wasn't that bad. I didn't finished a single game this month but this year I'm targetting at least 10 games since I have a lot of long form games this year.

Jan 25

• Send mom to the hotel only to realised that she took the car keys with her. Ask her to send it back via messenger 

• Send wife's car to be washed 

• After that went to the mall for lunch. Had some Korean and then went shopping for stuff. Met wife brother and he brought the new baby. He confronted me about going viral. I ask him am I still viral. He said yeah... just give it a while. 

• Came back home and need to help H1 move to her university. Carried all her stuff up and mop the floor. Wife was asking until when I would help her. I have no answer for that since I am the dad. So I think I am forever will be on call 

• Came back home and brought wife to get her shot and then went home to clean myself up and go to sleep

Jan 26

• Send wife to her office and then went to get things for lunch. Today I made a chicken salad. Wife ask if I could make some for her office mates. I said okay. So I made it with some fries as well. 

• Did classes the whole day today and in the evening installed some lightblubs around the house. 

• I need to start playing games back. I really don't have the time to do it. Need better time management. 

Jan 27

• Send wife and then buy ingredients to make chicken curry with roti canai  

• Other than that is a very low key day 

Jan 28

• After class send wife to her office and went to buy groceries for 3 days. We are trying to eat less since we want to lose weight

• Lunch at the uni food court and bought some noodles for H2. 

• In the evening I made some roasted herb potatoes with oven chicken and salad

• Slept early 

• My new friend is coming in terms with his affair partner being a big jerk and she felt she was only being used for sex. Block me in the morning and came back to me at night

Jan 29

• Today cook some pulled beef but I think I made the mistake of the beef I took so it was a bit tough. I can eat it but my wife can't. In the afternoon we we made wraps and at night I switch it up to make a rice bowl

• In the evening I had to go to wife office since she has classes until 9:30pm. Looks like this is this is going to be my routine every Thrusday until the end of the semester

• My mother in law came. This is very unfortunate since she came without any warning and its so annoying. Wife say they will be here until Sunday. Due to this, I can't ask my maid to come over tomorrow. 

• My new friend is having a rough time. Its okay.. She is going to be fine. Maybe she should fall before she understand 

Jan 30 (unmemorable) 

• H2 is not going to school today since the school has a picnic quite far away and we didn't want her to go. So she slept 

• I cooked some veggies pasta with chicken tenders

• Mom in law left today but not after giving a bombshell that she wants wife to continue her house loan. I told my wife a straight now unless we can sell the house right away. Safe to safe we didn't talk about this issue after that but I am going to bet that this is going to come up again in March 

• I got scammed, I tried securing BTS tickets for wife in Korea but it turns out that the person didn't deliver and then they blocked me. So I am out 1800. Sigh. I did make a complaint and I hope the can get my money back but I am not hopeful. Sigh

• Took cleaner and at night had some chinese food 

• When I was sending the cleaner she left her phone so I have to circle back. So tiring.

Jan 31 (Death) 

• After class I took a short nap. We were supposed to go to a wedding but wife was not ina social mood. So it took us 2 hours to decide where to eat and eventually we settled on Oriental Kopi 

• Went to eat and H1 realised that I was wearing my shirt upside down. She was laughing her ass off and I rushed to get it changed. She took a video of me. Leave it to my daughter to make an idiot out of me

• Had some rice and curry which was okay. Oreintal Kopi food lack vegetables. They only have cucumbers which sucks. I did have the cendol but there was a lot of red bean there. I forgot I don't really like red bean 

• Went to the park to give the fishes our expired bread and then the girls saw some dear which were cute.

• Came home did the rest of classes and played some Hades 2 

Death: In other note. One of my favourite Actors Caterine O'Hara died at 71. I rarely put death of a random person I knew but she was special. She will be remembered on how she touched lives with her funny performance. Rest in peace. 

With that 2026 January has come to an end. This was a terrible month for me. With the going viral the whole country and getting scammed. This month seems to end on a low note. But they do say if you hit rock bottom, the only way to go is up right. So lets hope the months things will go up. But again... follow the flow

The Rip

They do say the word Rip a lot here 

What is it about?
A group of cops discover a big Rip (Amount of money from selling of drugs) and th eneed to secure it before things get really bad

The Good
The story is very interesting. We don't know what is going to happen until the last minute 
Afleck and Damon really are the stars of the movie. They have the best scenes 

The Bad
Since this is Netflix everything needs be explain again and again. Which can get a bit annoying afer a while 

The Ugly
Nothing much

After Credits: No 

Verdict: A must watch movie if you like thrillers. 

Moon Knight

A weak MCU TV series 

Who is Moon Knight: Basically he is the avatar of Khonshu (looks like a bird with just bones). The god of the Moon and Night Sky.  Basically he is the Batman of the MCU 

Split Personality: Oscar Issac have to do double duty here by playing 2 different people with 2 complete personalities. It isn't an easy thing to do. But by the end of the day we can't help but loving both characters 

Costume: It looks like its made from toilet paper. Basically its a mummy style wrap clothing. Not sure if tis the budget or anything but all of the scene at night time so we can't see a lot of things that are happening 

Cliffhanger? It ended with a big cliffhanger but due to the unpopularity of this show. There won't be a second season of it. Not sure we will ever see Moon Knight again in the MCU

The Faculty

An old movie before everyone was super famous 

What is it about?
A group of students realised that their teachers have been taken over by aliens

The Good
The movie is very entertaining 
00s was a weird time
Good practical effects

The Bad
The story is a bit idiotic 

The Ugly
The effects are really bad but good during that time

Week 4: I went Viral (the whole country)

Well this week have been a rollercoaster. I manage to offend an influencer which cause his die hard fans to go all on a killing spree on me. I have become viral for this week. It was great to see my friends came to defend me. But it was intersting to see how idiotic everyone is and they can't take a simple comment 

Jan 18 (Vacation)

• Last day of vacation today. We all pack our bags and its time to go

• Had lunch at Kenny Hills since the girls wanted some pasta 

• Came home every unpack their stuff. Say hi to the cats and then rest for a while

• In the evening I went and took wife medication and also I got to talk with my new friend

• Ordered wife and fried rice from the shop next door and help her finish her her grading. 

Jan 19

•  H2 is back to school 

• Today cooked some masak lemak egg with pegaga and soy chicken 

• Mom came over today at 5pm and the first the she said what that I am fat

• Helped my friend with some money problems. So the total so far is around is around 84k... Will I ever get the money back. I don't know. But I really do feel sorry forher and I do believe that she is going to go far one day. 

Jan 20 (unmemorable) 

• Well there is this famous influencer who has just open a restaurant. But after 2 weeks the booking system is not working. So I decided to ask some questions reguarding his booking system. Probably the wording was to his liking he did reply the question but he did reply to my threads. Which cause his supporters to bombard me with hate speech and text. Good thing I private everything before this happens and deleted all necessary information. 

•  The great news is that my friends were all supportive of me. They are asking me how I feel and honestly I feel nothing because I don't know them and they don't know me. So I won't waste my time handling trolls. Which also makes me want to take a week break of my socials until this dies down. 

•  Today cook some pesto for the girls. Basil is really hard to come by nowadays. I only got 3 but I made it work 

•  Another thing that happent oday was wife accidently ate her whole box of medicine. She ate her morning, afternoon and evening medicines all in one go which cause her to overdose and in a state of mental unclarity. Apprently she went to the office and had a meeting but didn't remember anything about it. After lunch she ask me to pick her up

•  I had some ayam gepuk for lunch which was a mistake which I know I am going to pay for it the next day. Wife wanted a cheeseburger from Nak Nak. 

•  Pick up maid and send her back in the evening. Took a short nap and came back home and went to sleep. What a day   

Jan 21

• Still reeling from the aftermath of being viral. I have wonderful friends since they are all around asking how I am. Very lucky

• Today H1 boyfriend came over. They are planning to make some macaroons so I had to bring them to go get the supplies. I didn't know that macaroons will take hours to bake. They had to do 3 batches since the first batch got burnt and the 2nd batch got stepped on by creamy and the last batch was too late that the boyfriend had to go home. 

• Wife decided to take the day off today since she was embrassed to go to work because of yesterday thing. I said to her that people will forget 

• Made some Ayam kunyit and tomato egg. I think ayam kunyit using bone in chicken taste better than chicken breast 

• Slept early today since not in the mood to do anything

Jan 22

• Today I decided to cook some olio for the girls while I ate leftovers 

• Wife has to go to work today and at work everyone was asking her how am I doing and she was quite blur at the situation. Her colleague had to explain to her what happened and then she text me “did you know you’re on the news” I’m like “yeap”

• Came back in the evening and made some fried egg with bread for her 

• Tried to book some pre sales tickets for BTS. Waited for 3 hours only to find out that all tickets were sold out. Sigh

Jan 23 (memorable) 

• Send wife to work this mornign at 930am

• Went to do some shopping since mom is coming back from kampung and she wants to cook from the vegetables that she harvested back home

• Mom came back at 1130am and she is cooked. I left since I have to go for Friday Prayers. Had some snack and gave wife some food 

• Pick up H2 and then cleaner and wife later in the evening 

• Today my best friend invited the family to go and have dinner at his house. His girls are already big enough right now and they get along with H2 perfectly. His wife cooked, fried chicken, praws with veggies, kerabu bunga kantan with ikan bilis, chicken soup and cakes, 2 types of sambal with fruits for desserts

• We talked for hours about everything. We didn't want to leave but because my mom was with us. Mom wanted to leave so everyone had to follow. Overall it was an amazing day and I will host them again 

• My new friend is having problems wih his boyfriend. His boyfriend is a real piece of work. A real narcassist. Hope she get to settle his issue. 

Jan 24

• I have 3 weddings to attend today but before that at 9am we tried our luck on BTS tickets by phone. My best friend ask his korean friend to give them a call. We got no luck in securing the tickets

• Today I had 3 weddings to go to. First was my mom's friend. Second was my wife's friend and third was my wife's cousin. We manage to go to all three. All serve the same kind of food. Nasi minyak, ayam rempah/gulai and daging kicap with sayur. The desserts are the star since most places have different type of desserts 

• Came home and took a short nap and continue some classes

• Saw a movie The Rip (5/5) with wife and head to bed. No dinner for me 

This week is back to normal routine. Wife and H1 has classes. I need to start working more this week since Ramadan is coming soon.

Top Chef 21

Top chef is in Wisconsin 

New host: Padma is no longer here after 20 season. Now there is a new host as well as former Top Chef winner Kristen Kish. I like her style because she is more laid back in when it comes to hosting 

Contestant: As usual they come from all over the world and they all have the skills. I am glad that my favourites manage to fight until the finals. Everyone in Top Chef are nice people. 

Food: The dishes looks amazing. I wish I know the techniques to cook like that. Really I want to learn how to cook. The problem with this competition is that most of the contestant will leave due some kind of stupid error like no salt, undercooked protien or just didn't taste the food 

Overall: I love this season. There are some memorable characters and challenges but it is still not the best season in my book. 

Avatar: Fire and Ash

This movie is so long

What is it about?
After the second movie, the Sullys need to protect Pandora against the humans and some bad Na'vi.

The Good
Avengers Doomsday trailer 4 featuring Wakadians and The Fantastic Four
The visuals are amazing but I think watching 3D won't make a difference for me
The action is great 

The Bad
This movie is so long. Really there are a couple parts they can just skip or at least shorten the sequence but they want tell the whole story 
I didn't think the dialogue is bad but some scene were really a bit cringe 
The ending sucks since it ended abruptly. Lots of unanswered questions 

The Ugly
So if this movie doesn't make 2 billion they won't be a 4th movie. Let's hope that is not the case

After Credits: No

Verdict: Watch it once. Really its practically the same story again and again 

Hawkeye

He always looks annoyed 

When is this: Basically after the events of Endgame and Clint is experincing very major PTSD losing Black Widow

Kate Bishop: The next Hawkeye. I really like her. She is the more ease going Hawkeye with the same skills as Clint. 

Trick Arrows: This show is full of Trick Arrows. Arrows such as grappling arrow, EMP arrow, USB arrow and my favourite, Pym Arrows

Last of Kate Bishop: We haven't seen Kate in any mainline MCU movies. Hopefully she will return one day but it has been 5 years. So who knows

Week 3: Bought a new macbook and Vacation time

This week was an awesome week of taking the girls on vacation. Eventhough it was tiring we all had fun. These memories will live in us forever. 

Jan 11

• Cooked some curry chicken 

• H2 and wife went out to the mall. Both went out with the respective friends. Wife wheelchair finally ran out of battery 

• My car keep on giving me error that I didn't fasten the seatbelt. So tomorrow I need to send it to get it checked. 

Jan 12 (New Stuff)

• After morning classes and sending wife to work I went to the Apple store to buy a new Macbook Air M4. I am sharing this with wife since I need to use it when I am away from home and she will use it most of the time

• I got my sleep study machine and I need to hook it tonight so get my readings 

• Set up the macbook and it all seems well. 

• Slept early at 10pm and hooking all the sleep machine to get my readings 

Jan 13

• Woke up this morning and it turns that my sleep study was a failure. One cable was loose. That means I have to do it again tonight

• Wife investment person came to the house and brought in breakfast. Woke up H1 to set up an account for her to leave and stop looking at until she was 30 or older 

• Cook some pasta for the girls and ordered some food for me and wife 

• Today was my best friend last day at work. She said goodbye to everyone in her firm and it is time for a new journey in life. I am so proud of her 

• Finish a lot of work for wife and did manage to play some hades as well

• Slept at 10 again and hook myself again to the sleep machine 

Jan 14 (Vacation) 

• Woke up this morning and I pass the sleep study. Today is also the day we are going on vacation

• We started packing late and after I had a nap first. But before we headed to our hotel we went to the mall to grab some lunch and supplies

• Arrived at the hotel close to 5pm. This hotel is just 4 months old and most of the facilities are still new. There are a lot of facilities here like a pool, darts, 2 playgrounds, trampoline gym, ball pit, hammock station and obeservatory

• After that we decided to have dinner to Genting Highland resort since is at the top of the mountain. There is a link that connects the hotel to the resort but that was a mistake. It took us more than 30 minutes to get there and everyone is so tired after arriving. In the mall is was also a bit confusing. We finally found Thai food ate and then we went home by grab

• Arrive home close to 10. Took a shower and get ready to go to sleep. Tomorrow will be another day of adventure 

Jan 15 (Vacation) (unmemorable)

• Did classes very quietly this morning. H2 wants to sleep infront in the living room because she doesn't want to share a bed with H1

• Around 10 we go ready to go to Genting Skyworld. It is a theme park but it is all Dreamworks based shows excluding Shrek. The shows that were displayed are Planet of the Apes, Independence Day, Epic, Robots and Ice Age.

• We went on a lot of different rides. The memorable ones were Independence day where the lift us up on the big screen and its a giant 6D immersive experince. Epic boat ride where its on rail and we drop and got wet in the end. Ice Age Thin Ice caps which was a fun ride and lastly the Planet of the Apes ride. Ride that involve moving while sitting down and prespective changing is always a fun thing to watch. 

• We left the theme park around 4pm after the girls got themselves a souvenir. We ate some rice at Madam Kwan and went back to our apartment.

• Rest for a while and the girls decided to go swimmin on the heated pool. While they go swimming me and the wife played some pool and darts. We suck at both but on darts I got a bullseye twice. 

• After that the girls watch a movie in my room while I slept outside.

• In other news my best friend texted me and said that she is diagnosed with Lymphoma. I googled that and it is a type of cancer. It is curable but the treatment is going to cost a lot of money. I feel very sad for her. I wish I could help her but I have done all I can for my part and the rest is up to her. I will keep her in my prayers.

Jan 16 (Vacation) 

• Did classes until 8am and then wake up the family. Had breakfast with my wife on the balcony. Had some instant noodles on a cold morning hits differently

• Spend time packing but then wife remembered that she needs to finish her work so after we check out of the hotel we went down and hang out a coffee shop while she finish her work. The work took longer than expected so she finish her work at around 2pm

• The trip to Melaka was uneventful. We did had to past our house which is really funny to get there but this is the fastest way to get there anyway. Arrived at our hotel at around 530pm. The apartment was not as great as the first one we went but it was good enough. There are seperate rooms which means I can do my classes without being interrupted. 

• We got outselves ready to go to a riverside cruise. We got to see most of the historical town riding the boat. H1 saw a blue bird that we all didn't see and she wanted to go again. I told her... its okay. We believe you which seems to pissed her off even more.

• After the ride we went to eat at a very nice restaurant that serve authentic Melaka peranakan food. It was dellicous. We ate stingray, egg, fried mushroom and braised lamb shank. H2 had chicken chop for herself. I had the coconut shake which really hits the spot. 

• Then we went on a tour to the famous Jonker Street in the middle of town. This as H1 says has a lot of tourist traps. So we took some pictures and then we just when back to our apartment to rest for tomorrow's day

Jan 17 (Vacation)

• Today we are going to the zoo that is located an hour away from our apartment. We arrived there around 1030am.

• There were 4 shows that we saw. The first show was the elephant show. I touched an elephant and its skin is very wrinkly and hairy. The next show was the elephant swimming show. As big as elephants are. It is very suprising that they can float and swim very well. After that we went to a multi animal show where they show like 15 different animals with multiple tricks. H2 went to the stage after the show ended to take some pictures. Last show is the bird show where they show birds from different parts of the world. 

• We also did went to Safari. Saw some animals like lions, tigers and cheetas. But unfortunately it was close to the afternoon and most of the animal are just chillling out under the shade. After that we went and feed the Bilutong. That animal smells so nice and they say their pee smells like popcorn. We ended the day by going to the reptile farm and saw a lot of big corcodiles. 

• Had late lunch at 4pm of McDonalds at the restaurant itself and went home and everyone took a nap except me

• After the kids woke up, we played some Mahjong. We did not understand the but it took a while and it was fun.

With that is back to reality for this week. The only thing I am looking forward to is mom is coming to visit and maybe something else depending if I have some free time.

Week 2: I met a new online friend

 This week was not bad. At first when my student quit on me I was sad but after a while I got over it since its not goodbye. She is around and I can text her if I want to talk to her. Other than that wife keeps on wanting me to get a macbook. Met a new friend. 

Jan 4

• After classes decided to take H2 out on just a daddy daughter day 

• We went to eat some Korean at the mall. After that I bought her a new puzzle. She chose the 2147 canvas style puzzle. After the mall we went to the park to give the fish some food and ended with ice cream from Family Mart

• In the evening finish more classes and order some chicken rice for the girls. 

• I am a bit sad. I was supposed to see my friend tomorrow but she can't ask for leave. Oh well... I can't change anything about it. Just be patient I guess. But I still am going to run errands as well. 

Jan 5

• Went to run some errands today. First went to the first hospital to get wife prescription and as well as for me to get an appointment with an ENT. 

• After that I got to ride a Vellfire to go to the mall (Since I park my car there)

• Had some banana leaf rice by myself since I didn't get to go when I was with my friend 

• After that went to another hospital to get the wife's medication and saw the doctor to get the next medication. 

• Came back home and then did more classes. 

Jan 6 (unmemorable)

• Send wife and H2 to the office (wife had a lunch date at the mall) and the mall (H2 has a day out with a friend which cancelled which makes me so annoyed)

• Eat some ayam gepuk and make some chicken soup 

• My regular student which I been talking to everyday has ask for a break. She doesn't want to talk to me for a while. I said thank you and am a bit sad. But in reality for her we were never friends. It was just a transaction. I do believe that is never goodbye. It always see you later so I do believe that we are going to see her again one day 

• Pick up cleaner and but I didn't have send her back since at her apartment is being raided by immigration authorities 

Jan 7

• Sending wife and H2 to her office while I went to the hospital to see the specalist. The specalist ask me to do surgery for my nose and throat. I am still thinking weather wanting to do it 

• After that came back home and went for lunch with the girls. I had some beef pie and some fish and chips

• Went home and took a nap and then do some classes. 

• H1 came back to the house with her boyfriend and hang out til 10pm. 

Jan 8

• Today wife took the car because some construction workers are coming to the house 

• Made some fried rice with some breaded chicken chop

• Did some classes and in the evening relax. Nothing much happens today. 

Jan 9

• Today I had some nasi kerabu for lunch. 

• After friday prayers did some classes and in the evening cook some oilo for the girls

• Paid zakat today. I was very confused. But moving forward I will only pay any new money that collected for that year. 

• I met a new friend on X two days ago. She is having affair problems but the more I hear her stories. I know that she is dating a narcassist. I can give advice but ultimately is her decision. What is going to make it worse is that guys is moving back here. Imploding is going to happen. 

• My other best friend got like 5 or 6 interviews so far in this week. The problem is she is feeling under the weather so its kinda hard talking to her

• My step daugther/friend is finally here to 4 years to complete her medical studies.  

Jan 10

• Pick up the cleaner at 12pm 

• Went to the mall because to day we are finally going to see Avatar Fire and Ash. The movie was so long that I almost didn't made it for Asr and Margrib prayers. 

• The girls went to shop. H1 bought a pandora and case, H2 bought a tumbler lid and base and Wife bought a phone case

• We went to eat at a new Japanese shop. Food was hot and delicious 

• I gave the girls their yearly allowance.

• Came back around 10 and send the cleaner back home. Came and straight went to bed. 

Next week will be vacation week for the family.  We are not sure where we are going yet but we will figure it out soon. Other than that I have my sleep study on monday and maybe getting a new macbook.

What is it about?
A CIA analyst wife got killed so he blackmail the CIA to train him to find his wife killer 

The Good
The story is interesting but there are a couple flaws in execution
There is no over the top action since this guy sucks as a super spy

The Bad
It doesn't explain why did the wife got shot 
The ending is open ended so we don't know what happens next

The Ugly
Nothing much

Verdict: A fun movie to watch. Nothing to complain about
