 The Rose family is getting better at this 

This season: The Roses didn't manage to sell the town so they all of their own projects.

Whats up with the Roses: David and Alexis both got jobs, Moira is running for city council and Johnny is just tryingt o figure himself out

How much money: 40000 dollars after David got fired from the blouse barn

Ending: Overall they enjoyed living in this town. It has been a year and they are finally declaring the town as family 

Week 15: My student came and visit me

This week was an okay week with H1 getting her drivers license and my student came and visit us. Overall I can't complain that much about this week 

Apr 6
• Did classes and after that cook some fried rice
• Took a nap and then did 5 loads of laundry. Couldn't do H2 laundry because there was no place to hang

Apr 7
• School and work is back. Send H2 to school
• H1 went back at 12 since she has no classes. I let her drive
• Today I cook some curry chicken
• Called the exterminator just to make sure the house has no fleas. Coming this Thursday
• Pick up cleaner

Apr 8
• Cleaner cleaned the whole house till above her time. I gave her some extra money
• Cooked beef soup today
• Wife is still getting bitten. Can't wait for the pest control to come
• Our shoe rack arrived. It’s a 8 shelf high shoe rack that can fit at least 24 pairs of shoes.

Apr 9 (memorable)
• This morning send H1 to her license test
• Pick up some e-waste from the house to recycle. Got a good 12 bucks
• Pick up mom from the airport
• Pick up H1. She passed her driving test.
• Help friend finish her logo design. Got the designer paid
• Tired

Apr 10
• Mom cooked some fried rice
• One of mom best friends past away today. I visited that aunty. She was nice. She has a disabled son. I feel sad for the family
• Send mom to the airport at 4pm but her flight was delayed until 10pm

Apr 11
• Today I have to prepare since my student is coming tomorrow
• I cooked for the first time in 3 years. ratatouille. I put in a lot of eggplant. The funny thing is that H1 doesn't like eggplant but she was eating that a lot and loving it
• I also finish cooking the lasanga for tomorrow. All that is left is too cool it down and cheese it up tomorrow.
• Mom in law is making my wife feel guility. I am finding my mom in law annoying right now.

Apr 12 (memorable)
• After morning classes the whole family woke up the get everything ready
• The girls started making apple crumble while wife help in getting ready the expensive plates
• I finish making the marinara sauce and then went to find some kuih bahulu for them. I found that the was freshly baked
• My student arrived at around 12. The baby was so cute. The girl prepare lunch and then we brought them at the back. Baby didn't let his dad ate so I took the baby and brought him to the front. I think it was months and months of me being on screen with the baby that he wasn't scared of me
• After lunch we serve dessert with sound eid cookies
• Oh forget they gave me some cookies and treats as well.
• They left around 2 after taking some pictures and that was a very amazing experince
• Wife decided to pack the remaining lasanga with leftover ratatouille to mom house. When we came there someone was test driving mom car. They are planning to sell the car since step father in law can't drive it properly anymore.
• Hang there for a couple of hours, went home. Did classes. Wife cooked some fried rice and I went to pick up the cleaner.

Next week the only thing that is on my docket next week is a lot. H1 appointment, picking up mom, going to the airport, wedding, movie

What is it about?

A story spands multiple different times but all from the same angle. It is actually a story about love and family 

The Good
It is great to see different prespective of different familes adn times 

The story is a sad one where you can't always get what you want 

Life is about making sacrifices so that is the main thing I take from this movie 

The Bad
Too many different cuts

Schitt's Creek Season 1

A story about a family who lost everything 

What is it about? The weathly Rose family lost all their fortune due to unpaid taxes. The goverment took all expect this town because of the name. So the family move here until they can figure out their next plan 

Fish out of water: It is very funny to see rich people being poor and trying to navigate everyday situation. It doesn't help that the local people also think that they are weird 

Money? The dad got unemployment cheque. 

Ending: They manage to sell the town but smoething else happen so they are stuck here another season 

Woman of the hour

Based on a ture story

What is about?

A true story about a woman entering a dating game show but one of the contestant is a serial killer 

The Good
They show a lot of backstory about the killer before meeting the girl 

It was a very tense situation at the end of the show 

Ending was nice 

The Bad
The show is basically only 30 mins long since they try to pad the story with other people that does move the plot but not that much 

The Ugly
Ending sucks

Verdict: It was an okay movie. Watch the real story at youtube after the movie

Star Trek Lower Decks Sesaon 5

It has been one awesome ride. 

This season: Tendi is with her Orion family. Rutherford is trying to figure himself out. Boimler went to an alternate reality and trying to follower Alt him. Mariner is trying to be a better officer.

Close threads: A lot of storylines are wrapped up in this final season. The main bad guy of the show is the multiverse. So there are a lot of different universes characters thats the Cerritos crew is trying to plug out. 

The Ceritos: The ship itself is a part of the show. I think eventhough the ship is not that big or great, the ship is just amazing as it is. The end episode shows multiple multiverse ships and some of them looks cool

Engage the Core: In the end, there were some changes to the crew. I am going to miss this show. I wish that this show could last forever but what we got was a good solid 50 episodes. If you love Star Trek, this is a must watch.

Week 14: Eid Mubarak

Eid Mubarak to all. This year it was a great Eid. I got to spend time with all the people I love. Got to go on holiday. Got to eat nice food and delicious cookies. Most of all I get to make sure that my wife is okay and there are no toxic people around her.

Mar 30 (Day 29)

• Today is the last day of fasting so today we preparing for Eid tomorrow.
• I have cook chicken rendang for 2 families. My father and mother in law. There is around 3 chickens. So it took me close to 4 hours to cook it. I think the taste is great (less salty)
• Got ready for everything for tomorrow. Tomorrow we are planning to leave early so I made sure for the family have their clothes ready
• Couldn't sleep that much. Probably excited for tomorrow.

Mar 31 (unmemorable)
• Woke at 5am to get everyone ready to go to father in law house. After loading up everyone who actually bathe to get ready we drove. The roads were clear and we made it there in under 40 minutes
• Went to the mosque with dad in law. That was an interesting experince
• At home we ate a lot of food.
• At midnight wife and was crying wanting to see her mom but I said no. Eventually I cave in but I warned her to her mom fell and hurt her legs. When she got there she cried, wanting me to come and said it’s okay to bring mom in law back to our house. I said no. We eventually went back and she showed me the scratches on her hands. I was sad and worried but there is nothing much I can do about her but she make sure she is as happy as she can be

With that March is done. Ramadan has been a good month. I got to cook a lot of delicious food. Didn't get to finish the Quran again this time but I think I will read it again slowly before the end of the year. But among the motnhs this has been a very bad month. Wife depression took a turn for the worse and her self hurting is really worrying me. Sigh

Apr 1
• My favoruite Japanese student is taking a 4 day break tomorrow which is great since I am taking a 3 day break as well
• My father in law and sister in law with their family came to visit. I cooked some aglio olio chicken and seafood. My nephew played some VR. Everyone is sleeping after the meal and they left late
• H1 went out with her friend. H2 and sister in law went out as well to the same mall

Apr 2 (Start Vacation)
• Vacation time. We are going to a beach resort but before we do we are going to see mom back at kampung
• Arrived there, ate a lot of food. Catch up with mom. Nom was happy and I was happy
• We are supposed to go to my uncle house. But they are not there and we didn’t announce we were coming so we just head to the resort.
• Our rooms were nice. We ordered some food. Hang out and saw the sunset in the evening
• Saw the Switch 2 launch video. I don’t know, besides the new Mario kart. I don’t see me of owning this console yet. Unless they have a modded version. I’m not sure that I would buy it right now. This is not a good start

Apr 3 (Vacation)
• Nothing.. I did absolutely nothing. Well not nothing much.
• Went for buffet breakfast where I ate nasi lemak, porriage, omelette, toast, noodles, fruits
• Slept, help wife mark papers, play games, watch a lot of tv on my phone
• Someone came and fix the aircond. Our aircond is not that cold so why was sweaty
• Lunch had some noodles, dinner had some mcdonalds

Apr 4 (End Vacation)
• Today another day of buffet, I ate nasi lemak, porriage, half boiled eggs, soup, bread pudding, hash browns, sausages
• Packed and went home
• Made some tuna pasta bake for my sister in law who helped taking care of H2 during the whole vacation.
• Mom is here and she is fasting, she cooked some soy chicken.

Apr 5
• My Japanese student came and visit me today. I brought him to my favorite burger joint and I drove him around the federal building to see the sights and take some pictures. In the end he gave me a gift which was a towel, choclate and notes.
• Sister in law went back today. I cooked tuna pasta bake for her yesterday so she brought that back with her. She showed me messages for my mother in law complaining. I am so annoyed at my mother in law who is not learning from her mistakes. But its okay, I have time and they don't. So lets just see how this is going to pan out
• My neighbour invited me to their house for an open house celebration. There were a lot of food and everyone came this time.

With that this week is over and next week is back to routine. H1 and H2 will be going to school. Wife work, and I will do back normal routine things.

Replayed: Bloody Roar

Classic PS1 fighting game

Genre: Fighting
Platform: PS1
Release Date: 1997

In the begining of the PS1. Fighting games were really quite basic. There are no complicated combos to do. It is mostly who gets to land the hits first. Bloody Roar took that formula and added a beast mode function to the game a little more interesting. The transformation will give you and extra advantage in power. Different move sets does give it an advantage in the game. But in the end, its a fighting game. If you are not that great with it, you are going to suck anyway. Played until the final boss and I consider the game is done. I give this game a B-Rank 

Wolfs

 A buddy comedy with two old actors 

What is it about?
Clooney and Pitt (No name characters) plays as a fixer who are hired to do the same job. The mystery will be answer the more deeper they discover what the job is about

The Good
Its a very interesting story. Both Pitt and Clooney are good friends so their acting seems seemsless. 
The ending sets up for a sequal if there is any 

The Bad
They don't really say what happens with the client since the kid was alive to begin with. 

The Ugly
Nothing much

After Credits: No

Verdict: It is a fun movie. Worth a watch 

Star Trek Lower Decks Season 4

Best Star Trek show in my book

In this season: There is a new threat that is slowly destorying non federation ships. The lower deck crew has been upgraded to lieutenant junior grades

Why I like this: Usually in every Star Trek show they will focus on the upper deck crew. But the lower deck usually gets into more trouble which makes for a very interesting show 

Cameo: Voyager makes a cameo, as well charactrers from The Next generation. Plus a lot of this show is referencing other shows so you really need to be a fan to enjoy it 

Ending: Ends in a cliffhanger when Tendi left starfleet but the good news is I am watch season 5 (final season) which its going to the best season ever 

The Third Man

Old movies is a mixed bag

What is it about?
A man trying to discover the death of his friend leads him to investigation lead him to try to find the third man 

The Good
The story is interesting. There is something about black and white movies makes it very interesting 

The Bad
The music. Its some kind a upbeat funk music which really makes the movie suck. When there is a serious scene, it plays funk music. I didn't enjoy it whatsoever 
I don't understand why did the guy came back to the scene 
The Ending.. 

The Ugly
People in the black and white era does sound dumb sometimes. I wonder when dialoge gets better 

After Credits: No

Verdict: Don't watch. It was part of the 100 best movies. I can say this one sucks 

Star vs The Forces of Evil Season 4

One great cartoon. 

In this season: The threat of Golbgor. Star trying to get monster and mewmans together. Marco finally got in terms with star and now its leaving and a final threat that changes everything 

Gone: Eventhough he is in the intro everytime. Ludo was gone after episode 14. He got his happy ending and thats great

Magic: Magic is what links everything together but this season Magic needs to be stopped and the butterfly family have to make a very important decision on what to do with it

Ending: It eventually a love story between Marco and Star and in the end when you thought it was over they manage to link everything together. Sad we can't see what happens next but at least it was a happy ending 

Alien Romulus

 An Alien movie that reminds you of the good old days 

What is it about?
A group of miners trying to get off the planet went to space station. There they discover that they were not alone 

The Good
The eerie sound of being alone in space is really unsettling 
The xenomorphs are crawlers are as creepy as every 
This movie feels like a videogame 

The Bad
They really didn't say what happens in the end
The movie is already too predictable 

The Ugly
Nothing much

Verdict: If you love the Alien movies, you should watch this

Week 13: The final week or Ramadan

This week is the last week of Ramadan. Besides my friend having an accident which was scary. My mother in law making drama. This is week has gone great. I manage to cook different almost everyday. But I wouldn't recommend that. 

Mar 23 (Day 22)

• It rained the whole day today and it was very heavy
• After classes I bought things to cook. Today we are expecting visitors in the form of wife cousin and nephew. So I made my famous (since I can't make it without any reciepe) claypot-less chicken rice.
• My work collegue has block that student because after calling him out he didn't reply. Clearly he has issues.
• Slept early because I'm tired

Mar 24 (Day 23)
• After class today me, wife and H2 went to the see wife's psychiatrist. Besides increasing her medication dosage, the doctor also inform us that wife is no longer allowed to see her mom until further notice. So that means that this Eid will be celebrated without seeing her mom
• Wife best friend father had a blood vessel ruptured in his brain so its rushed to the ICU for emergency surgery. After 6 hours the operation went well. Now its just waiting for 30 days to see how he is. They say chances of survival are slim. Really makes me worry about the mortality of life sometimes. The father was supposed to go to hajj this year. Physically looks fit. That shows if Allah wants to pull something from us. He can do it immediately.
• Wife wanted to go to see her friend but doctor advice not to, so we went to ikea instead to get some stuff for Eid celebration.
• After Ikea we went to get some Hot Bird and went home

Mar 25 (Day 24)
• Today I be making two different things. Pesto pasta for the girls and bubur lambuk
• I love bubur lambuk, but too make it takes a long time to make. I think this thing is the best I made so far. I gave 4 containers to my friends and family.
• Today was an easy there, wife and H2 went out to hang with their friends for iftar which means I am alone today. H1 is here but she is on break of fasting

Mar 26 (Day 25)
• No class in the morning since me and H1 need to go to the hospital. She complains abou her back
• We waited for 5 hours until we got to see the doctor
• The doctor told us that there is nothing wrong with with H1., its probably her posture.
• H1 wanted some cake and i bought some other stuff to cook for today
• Comment on reddit about my teaching event and got trolled by people who said I am not that good in English. I'm like awesome... I got an awesome job with minimal effort

Mar 27 (Day 26)
• Today we have a lot of errands.First we went to wife workplace to drop some stuff and took a flu shot
• After that we went to the hospital to pick up wife's prescription medication and also bought some cookies
• We went to another hospital to visit dela best friend. Her dad is still in the ICU with no change insight. After 1 week if there no change. He would have to be intubated. He already paid to go to hajj and it seems that he can't go and the family had to ask for a refund which they won't get

Mar 28 (Day 27) unmemorable

• Today mom is coming here but before that I cooked some masak lemak early in the morning
• Pick up mom in the evening and she wasn't feeling well. She has vertigo so she can't stand that well. It was bad until the time for iftar. But after that she felt better
• They said that raya may fall a bit earlier so that means that fasting will only be 29 days.
• My best friend had an accident. They fell asleep on the wheel and the car was wreck. Alhamdullilah they were okay. But the airbag left a very bad bruise on the chest. It is going to take a while for them to recover. But I'm thankful that they are with family.

Mar 29 (Day 28)

• Pick up the maid today.
• Went to the mall to find my clothes. I am fat now so I it was very difficult to find clothes. I think after the celebration I want to eat less and exercise more. They say never give up so I am not going to do that.
• My sister in law is here. She wants me to cook for my mom in law. Really I don't want to do that but because I love them I am going to do it
• My friend is recovering, they are a doctor so they know better but they are not taking their painkillers so thats hard
• Today just ate leftovers and the girls ate nando's

Next week will be Eid. So that means I am going to be on holiday as well for 4 days (or not?). No classes, just me relaxing.

Star Trek Discovery Season 5

A satisfying finale 

In this season: A lot has change. The crew was seperated into different roles but reunite for one final big mission 

Best season: This show is one of the best Star Trek series every. Every season it just get better and better. The only problem is that there is not that many space battles. EVeryone gets their time to shine.  

Discovery: It is one of the best ship. Coupled with Zora as its AI, Discovery itself as a character makes this show worth watching

Ending: It ends with a time jump. Everything is okay with the world. Discovery will return one day... Eventually but for now. Let it rest, until the next time. Verdict: A must watch if you are Trek fan 

Assault: Retribution

Still manage to play game this month

Genre: Shooter
Platform: PS1
Release Date: 1998

This game is basic to the core. What do you do. Your run, jump and shoot while avoiding some obstacles. That's about it. It is fun and you can basically just mash a button and run straight till the end. The controls are a bit tank like with jumping can be particularly frustrating. Other than that its a short game which you could finish in under 2 hours. Overall B-Rank

Week 12: I got a student kicked out of class

Awesome week besides the title (even that was considered awesome) but other than that another week of fasting and we have one more week to go 

Mar 16 (Day 15)
• Today sister in law is coming down so I decided to cook something special.
• Following the recipe I decided to cook some Briyani Rice with chicken. Grilled lamb with black pepper sauce and some vegetables.
• The rice turned out perfectly but sister in law took the girls to the food market so they bought a lot of food for them that they ate a little. So I gave some to the neighbours. But I didn't hear back form them. Not sure if they like it or not.
• Bought some cookies for Eid

Mar 17 (Day 16)
• Today cooking some smahed potato and mushroom cream chicken.
• Went to get some more cookies from wife friend
• Wife didn't like my cooking so today so cooked something else
• H2 ask me to go get ice cream after I got back home from praying

Mar 18 (Day 17)
• Today I decided to cook some squid because yesterday she didn't ate that much. So today I cook all her favourite dishes. Made some pasta and butter chicken for the girls
• Sister in law went home
• We picked out vacation spot for EID so on the second day we are going on vacation
• My neighbour gave me some curry noodles. I was planning to cook it tomorrow but I decided to make something different

Mar 19 (Day 18)

• Today I made some kuey tiow since I felt like noodles
• The road to my house was in renovation so I had to took the long way there

Mar 20 (Day 19)

• Today wife wanted some burgers so I cook burgers two ways which is beef and fish
• Went to bank to get some money for EID. The line was so long. I talk to two nice ladies that worked in the building. They were also waiting to get a lot of money as well. It took 2 hours 30 minutes until the whole ordeal was done
• Took the cats to the vet since they have fleas

Mar 21 (Day 20)

• Today since I am busy I didn't cook. So we all had nasi lemak today.
• Managed to do a lot of classes which was great. The not great part is that the student who took my picutre was there. I decide to give him the benefit of the doubt because the platform didn't report it to him. Class went okay but he was being a bit creepy. He ask for my instagram which I wasn't comfortable in giving unless I really like that person so I gave. After the class ended he took my picture again!.
• So I reported him to the helpdesk. The helpdesk got all the info they need and he was terminated from the platform. I thought it ended there but he found me on facebook and ask me did I ratted him out. I just block and didn't reply back.
• Pick up the cleaner and talked about mom in law. Mom in law is appreantly getting worse. No money and have to take care of leeches. What to do. I don't know if I want to pity her or not. She made her own bed and have to deal with it.

Mar 22 (Day 21)

• Today wife wanted me to stay besides her, so I didn't do anything yesterday but read the Quran
• In the evening we went to the mall to get their glasses fixed. I also bought Sushi for Iftar
• I also found out that the person that reported knew my other friend. I told her the story and she want on confronting that person. That person didn't even admitted into doing it. So my friend went on giving her a piece of her mind.

• Pick up H1 from her university. She is off for 2 weeks

Thats it for this week. We have one more week of fasting and then it is going to be Eid soon
