Twin Peaks Sesaon 2

This show just went of the rails 

Reworked: They rework the show from a normal murder mytery into a show about supernatural things. Which I don't mind at all. I do understand why this show has a cult following. The story is gripping and interesting enough 

Side characters: I believe this show suffers from having too much characters but not all side stories are landing. So some of the side stories are boring and yet some are interseting. 

The White Room: I don't get what is it and I think I will never get it and since that the show got cancelled we may never know the answer

Cliffhanger: This show has a 3rd season which is set 25 years after the 2nd season. Which is crazy since there is a scene where they say we will meet each other 25 years from now. But the sad part is we may never know what happen to the rest of the characters. 

Week 47 - Wife went to Turkey

So this week is me being single. Wife went to Turkey and left me in charge of the kids. So far it seems okay.

• Went to see Gladiator 2 with wife and her cousin. H2 went to another movie with her cousin
• Send the maid back
• Wife started packing for Turkey

Nov 18
• Send wife and H1 to uni. H1 had to paint the mural
• Made some korma chicken and ate it with spicy sambal
• H2 got a camping trip this 21 so she is excited

Nov 19
• Wife is busy packing. There is a lot of stuff
• Mom came back
• I didn't eat that much today. Not that hungry.

Nov 20
• Cooked a lot of food since wife is going to the airport so I thought I make enough for the night
• H2 wasn't feeling too good. So far they gave her medicine but she is okay. Still determine to go to camping later
• Wife finish packing and her cousin came later. They had dinner and I brought them to the airport. The airport was packed with a lot of different tour groups We arrived at 9pm only to finish checking in at around 11pm. After that they entered the gate at at 11:45pm. Mom in law was there but I didn't offer to send her home because that would be an extra 20 mins out of the way. Which frankly I wonder why do they want to come anyway

Nov 21
• Day 1 of living without wife. Routine as usual. Send H2 to school and knowing she doesn't need to come back for today means for the first time I am free to do anything
Send H1 to a mall in the middle of the city. I feel sorry for her because she wanted to go with friends but all of her friends was busy. Then I feel sorry for myself since I don't have any friends as well. Sucks being alone when you have no one. Sigh. Anyway...
• After sending H1 went to a shop to try some VR. Played a quick demo of Batman. It was not bad at all. But I think VR is still to expensive. If I can get it below a certain price I will buy it but as for now I am not forking up that much money.
• Went to the mall to meet my only friend that I have left. We had food at our favourite restaurant and talked a lot of about life. I am so thankful that I only have one friend. If not life would be super boring without one
• Picked up H1 from the mall and head home. Took a nap. Friend call saying that she just thinks of me as a friend now. Which inn hindsight is a bit weird since I am done chasing her as someone else. But I am sad for today because the plan was to meet her but because of H1 I had to prioritze her first.
• Back to normal routine
• On the wife side. She arrived safely to dubai without any problems. But due to bad weather they were rerouted to Athnes for a while. After that they arrived to Istabul. In the end it took them 24 hours for the journey
• Today is my 1 year anniversary teaching English

Nov 22
• H2 teacher contact me early in the morning saying H2 wants to go home since she has bad period cramps. I had to cancel my class to pick her up
H1 had a date with her best friend so they hang out there
• I did classes and just hang out
• In the evening ate leftovers and try to finish wife's work. Slept early as I can due to being tired
• My best friend doesn't want to see me due to scared that feelings will come again. I am ok with that. I really wanted to see her. Maybe one day I guess
• On the wife side. Theychecked out of the hotel. Visit a couple of places and then she ask me weather she can go on the jeep trip. I say why not as long it is not that dangerous.

Nov 23
• Had a parent teacher conference for H2 while sending H1 to the library for her to continue drawing
• H2 conference went well. She is a good girl.
• Went back home and cleaned up the store. I need to throw a couple of stuff due to the store being over crowded.
• H1 dropped some paint on the carpet so I had to bring some soup to clean it up.
• I promised the girls some mexican but they were more excited to get some fried chicken. The problem is that is the weekend and there was a massive jam. It took us 60 mins to get there. another 70 mins to get our food and another 90 mins to go home. That was an adventure
• After picking up the cleaner, I went on to start cleaning my room and installing some boards to hang my controllers. I say it looks rather awesome. I like it

So thats this week. A good week in my book. That annoying hacker called me but I am not going to acknowledge that. Another week until wife came back. 

Gladiator II

As good as the first one

What is it about?
Set 16 years after the events on the first movie. A new ruler of rome is causing more problems than before and it takes one person to ignite the whole of rome 

The Good
The story is great. It doesn't have any filler at all
The action is better than the first movie. They even have the first water collesuem fight 
Each characters have a momentt to shine

The Bad
You need to watch the first movie if not this movie doesn't have the same impact 
The ending scene was cut due to budgetary reasons 

The Ugly
Nothing much
Oh they can't use Russle Crowe in this movie because he is no longer 2000 version of himself

After Credits: No

Verdict: A must watch. An instant classic 

Fallout

 A great show even if you don't play the game 

What is it about: In the past, earth suffered a nuclear bomb attack and most of the people hide underground in vaults. While some of them surivive live on the surface and the ones who got radiation became immortal ghouls. 

3 different points: You follow 3 different people from their own prespective. The are trust into the adventure trying to find the thing that is so important. Each of them has their own motivation but all roads will lead to the final thing 

It doesn explain: Some shows won't explain the lore after 3 seasons in. Fallout gives a good explanation on why the nuclear fallout happen. Which I like since that is going to be annoying if can't figure out why

Ending: There are more questions even after all of the questions were answered. So they did confirmed a season 2 coming thats great. This is a much watch tv. 

ATV Mania

The PS1 game journey starts now

So the Playstation 1 is a system where there are a lot of games from all different genre from across the spectrum. So the main goal this console is to play games that are fun. The moment they stop becoming fun I will find another game since there are a lot of games here. So the first game is ATV Mania. Think Mario Kart but with ATV. The contols are sharp and the game is quite fun. There is a story mode but it is just a lot of text so I decided to skip that. Other than that this game is short. After beating the game you can play it again with a harded difficulty. Overall I give this game a B-Rank

Week 46 - Just another week. Nothing special

 This week is just running errands and doing usual stuff. Nothing to special 

Nov 10

• Yesterday wife cousin stayed over. We planned to go shopping for wife's stuff for Turkey
• Went to the outlet store for shopping. The place is not bad. Lots of discounts available
• At night got into a fight with wife. She wants to give more money to her mom more money. That money was supposed to be given by her sister but her sister doesn't want to give. I am so annoyed. So we both slept angrily
• H1 decided to stay at her university today overnight since she has a lot of assignments due

• Apologise to wife. I am still annoyed at the situation. I think I need to keep quiet and just be patient.
• Had to go take medicine for wife in KL
• Guest lab tech in wife's class again
• Pick up mom from the airport. It was a bit challenging since she doesn't have a phone with her.

Nov 12
• Wife had her knee procedure today. It went well.
• Send mom to the airport. She got a new S24 once she arrived home.
• Father in law is in charge of taking kids
• In the evening we ate Chiense food

Nov 13
• Pick up parents in law. Step dad came in an earlier flight so I had to find him in the airport. We had lunch together while waiting for my mom in law.
• Rained heavily today

Nov 14
• Rained heavlity again
• Wife student came down for lunch and love the pasta I made
• H1 went out with her friends to the mall and did some kareoke. I am glad that she has some friends that she can hang out with. Had to pick her up in the evening.

Nov 15
• Hang out at the mall to buy stuff for wife’s trip
• Ate some Korean after 3 months

Nov 16
• Another trip to the mall this time with H2
• Went to mom in laws house to get a suitcase
• Pick up the maid

Next week I will be a single parent and I have a couple things I want to do. So let's see if it will work out or not.

Chime

I don't get it

What is it about?
It is a horror movie made from one of Japan great flimmakers. It is about a guy who hears a ringing in the ear? I think.. or probably grief. I am not sure 

The Good 
It is short. For a movie this only clocks in 45 mins which for me is great 

The Bad
I honestly have no idea what is it about. Even after that reveal the twist of the ending is still left me confused. I had to open a reddit thread reading the explanation and I Still don't get it
Probably it is just a dream 

The Ugly
No ending. It just ends and we have to draw our own conclusion 

After Credits: No

Verdict: Don't watch. It is not scary for a horror movie 

Nintendo 64

History 
I've never own a Nintendo 64 in my life but I can't forget how did I know about this console. I was living in the US with my family and I saw a commercial about this system on TV. I saw the graphics and I was like wow this must be the greatest console with awesome graphics. The controller is a bit weird though. 

The Games
The games are original titles which range from all types of genre. I think the most popular genre is action and racing with the emphasis on aracde sytle gameplay. This is the first time where the games uses 3D graphics so by today's standard is it a bit blocky

The Good 
Some of the games are fun to play but mostly on the racing and action side. Most of the great games are made by Nintendo which some third party companies makes not bad games. 

The Bad
Controls are mostly unresponsive and the games are not that fun. The analogue stick contol is too rigid for the games. Even games like Super Mario 64 doesn't control well. 

The Ugly
Everything. This was release at the same time as the ps1 and yet most of the games didn't hit the mark. With games that are not that fun and a very limited selection of games. 

Conclusion
The Nintendo 64 is part of Nintendo's history. There are a lot of gaming franchise that we made because of this but they were a precursor of whats to come. It was okay but nothing memorable.

Evil Season 4

Goodbye to one of the best shows I watched 

In this season: There is a new baby from Leland and Kristen. Ben now can see evil and have relapse. David can see what others do and can inhibit the body.  

All characters: All of the characters get their due, to Boggs, Andy (his ending sucks by the way), the four girls and Sister Andrea (which is really one of my favourite character in the show) 

Evil: Evil is everywhere and there is nothing much you can do to stop it. The most you can do is always pray to God to help you be strong and stop the evil within us. This show is one of the greatest show is because it goes deep inside everything that is evil in the world. I don' think that there is another show like this and I'm sad to see it go

Ending: It doesn't end but the Adventure of our 3 heroes has ended. Evil is still around but they will continue what they do best. I am going to miss this show. Maybe I will watch it again when I have somebody else to watch it with. But after 10 years or more 

Week 45 - Wife's uncle passed away

This week is a busy week where I didn't have the chance to cook at all since I was busy doing a lot of errands for everyone else. Besides a death nothing too big happen this week. I am fighting my own demons in my head and that is very annoying

• Cooked some mashed potatoes and roast chicken
• Every early morning mom showed us her tour in Eygpt. Is like being there. Would I go there proabaly not
• My best friend from Findland called me. We had a a good 47 min chat about stuff. Miss him but I am not sure when will he be back

Nov 5
• Didn't cook today so did a lot of classes
• Wife had a reaction to something so now her lower lip is swollen badly. She had to cancel class.
• She gets annoyed at H1 for not being polite that much. I picked her up late today.

Nov 6
• I was supposed to send my friend to the airport. Everything was already planned but it didn’t stopped raining since 5am. I was stuck in the city somewhere and told them that I couldn’t make it in time. So in the end they drove themselves to the airport. Parking is going to suck
I found out that one of wife’s uncle passed away. The sad part on how he passed away. He got a heart attack last Thursday (since that was the last they got in touch with him). Yesterday they came to his apartment and the body has already stink up the whole place. The did the autopsy and flew back the body early this morning
• Wife was feeling bad for her mom so wife bought tickets for her to go back home. I had to drive them to the airport and we had to check them in. I find it annoying that her husband wanted to follow along since he is a old man and he takes up lots of place and time

• Finally cooked some beef Ragu pasta afer a week

• Something is wrong with my finger. I hurts it when I bend it. So its really annoying and making me in a bad mood
• Didn't do anything much besides laundry.
• In the evening went out for dinner and then went to mom in law house to pick up some winter clothes.

Next week the only thing on my schedule is picking up mom from the airport and wife has a procedure for her knee. Other that that, Im hoping to finish Nintendo 64 games this months. Only a couple left. I still need to finish the Prince of Persia before getting gamepass.

Blue Beetle

First movie of the DCU 

What is it about?
An alien scrab attached it to someone and they need to stop the bad guys from controlling the world 

The Good
The movie is so colourful. Using a lot of purple and blue 
Action and CGI looks good
Love the family aspect of it. 

The Bad
CGI is at night time a lot. 
The bad guy is look like a bad version of ironman 

The Ugly
Nothing much 

After Credits: Yes. 2 of them. 

Verdict: An awesome start to the DCU  

Twin Peaks Season 1

I didn't know what to expect

What I thought: I thought this was a show about something supernatural like the X-files and it happens in the town of twin peaks 

What it actual was: It was a murder mystery where a death in a small town and everyone is a suspect. Your follow the adventures of Agent Dale Cooper and he tries to unravel the mystery of the murder. You also get to know the other characters of this town 

What is good and not good: The show is quite interesting but very slow. Even watching it at 1.5 speed I feel that it is not going as fast as I it can be. The female cast are all very hot and what I didn't like was the music. Even during some tense scene, the music goes on to some smooth jazz. Everything is smooth jazz over here. Really spoilts the mood

Cliffhanger: It ends with a cliffhanger and really this show looks like it's made with limited budget and camera. But season 2 is a full 22 episodes. 

Worms Armageddon

Who doesn't like some worms

I remember playing worms with my brothers and friends when I was young. I played it onmy pc and I was really good at it. The games can last for hours and I develop a lot of skills using all the weapons that were available. I tried to boot up worms for the N64 and I foudn it is a very enjoyable game. It is a fun game but the controllers is not that good. Probably due to havinng a lot of buttons on the N64 so to get precesion controls is quite difficult. But I did finish a game so with that I will give this game a B-Rank 

Wave Race 64

I cant see why this game is considered one of the best

This is one of the early games on the Nintendo 64 and I can say that this game is one of the best. This is a simple game where you race jet skis in predeisgn tracks. Due it being open water you need to make sure that you hit the bouys that are on the track accordance to its sign (Either left or right). Hitting them will result in a speed boost and missing them will give a penalty. Miss 5 and the game is over. Thats about it. The races are really intense and I don't know why this game never had a sequel since the water physics here are one of the best I've seen in a while. There are only 6 tracks so judjing the price of the game during that time, it may seem like a ripoff. Overall this is one of the best N64 games I've played. A-Rank

Week 44 - Its H2 Birthday

This week is a up and down week with H2 birthday and wife falling down. I am trying to get as much classes as I can this week since its the weekend. But other than that it was a good week.

• So the reason why mom in law is here is because she had a wife with her sons wife. So the needed a break
• Mom treat us to some briyani
• I had to send mom to the hotel adn she gave a me a painting to bring back
• Send H1 to her car exams
• Pick up the maid

Oct 28
• Mom in law went home before lunch. I think that she was bored in this house since there is nothing much to do
• Made some fried chicken today. It was delicious
• Wife was emotionally unstable. Couple with H1 not giving her the love that she wanted she feels that no one loves her. I can feel that but that so not true. If she is not here everyone will be sad
• Creamy had a wound so we had to take him to the vet. Now comes the hard part of trying to get him to eat the medicine

• Wife and H1 decided to paint a mural at school. You know what that means. More late nights going home for H1
• Mom is back
• In the turn of events mom in law came back and brought the baby around. I was annoyed because they came without being invited and at the last minute. Wife made a big deal out of it. I know they won't read this but I will tell why I am annoyed. I am annoyed because they are dictating their lives on the baby. The are too old for this shit. God forbid if anything happen to them wife will have to pick up the pieces. I am biting my tounge all this whlie. So just suck it up.

• Last day of school before the long holiday
• Mom cooked today
• I went to the mall to get a birthday gift for H2 but couldn't find any. So I decide to buy something online.
• H2 decided to make some dessert. She made some congo bars. I think she puts too much sugar in it.

Oct 31
• Its H2 birthday. All of us are wearing green today At lunch we all went out to eat at a very fancy bakery. Everyone ordered their food and I think we ordered to much as usual.
• Came home to a food coma and everyone slept.
In the evening, the brownies arrive and MIL came down to celebrate with us. • • Everything was so sweet
• I skipped dinner becayse I was feeling sick due to eating too much.
• At night wife fell down very badly and hurt her back. I hope she is okay. Give it a couple of days for it to heal. Sigh
• Yes, it deepavali today so that means it is a school holiday

With that October comes to a close. There are a lot of great things that happen and no so great things as well. I'm worried about my wife falling down. I already said goodbye to the hacker girl. So I think going forward lets try to make the best of this.

• Send mom to airport today. She is going to Eygpt with a group of old people
• Promise the girls sushi so we went to eat sushi. Wife didn't follow since she is still hurting.
