Robin needs some training to work as a team, so Batman sends him to meet the Teen Titans 

The Good
Introduction to characters are short and sweet but yet you'll understand where it is all coming from 

Action is always top notch 
Robin is the main character of this show

The Bad
The bad guy. It's supernatural which I don't quite enjoy 

The Justice League are here only the last 15 minutes 

The Ugly
Nothing much

After Credits: No 

Verdict: A great Teen Titans movie. More character development 

Strange New Worlds Season 2

Even if you are not a fan of Star Trek this show is a must watch

Premise: Continuing off the ending of Season 1 the crew of the Enterprise desperately one of their own

10 episodes: For 10 episodes each episode is focus on one specific character where there are a couple of episodes involves the whole crew.  

Best episodes: Between the crossover between the cartoon lower decks and the musical episode. I think I like the musical episode the best 

Ending: Cliffhanger ending since season 3 is confirmed. Which sucks since the actors strike we won't know when will this show continue.

Batman Bad Blood

I tell you this movies are getting better and better

What is it about?
Batman is presume dead and the rest of the Bat family needs to figure out who did it and why?

The Good
I don't know how they manage to cram a lot of storyline and plot points in 90 minutes but this movie is really amazing

Even if I knew who was the bad guy I didn't figure out the twist 

Continues after the last movie so the gang is all here

The Bad
Batman really has less screen time in this movie.

They did tease a new character in the end

The Ugly
Nothing much

Verdict: Awesome movie, if you are a fan of Batman. A must watch

Nancy Drew Season 4

A great ending to a good series 

Premise: After the cliffhanger event of season 3. The mystery gang is out to solve one final case 

Love: In the end this story is about your true love and your soulmate. No matter how much you are apart you are destined to be together and love will always find a way

Arcs: With one big arc and a lot of smaller arcs, everyone has their time to shine in this show. Even the side characters have an episode to them

Ending: The final season, everything wraps in a nice bow. Even it is bittersweet to say goodbye to the gang. We know everyone will be okay. Will I watch it again. Probably not, but I did enjoy the ride.

Batman vs Robin

The continuation from Son of Batman 

What is it about?
Damian is trying to figure who he is really is.

The Good
Action is again top notch 
This 90 minute movie has more character building than a normal action movie 
The ending is good

The Bad
You can actually figure who is the bad guy 30 mins in 

The Ugly
Nothing much

After Credits: No

Verdict: If you like Batman, you will enjoy this movie 

How I Met Your Father Season 2

Now we will never know who is the father 

Premise: Continuing where we left off where Sophie tell her son on how she met their father. .

Is it funny? Well there are some parts that are funny and there are some parts that are okay. I just want to know who is the dad

Cameos: This season Barney Stintson shows up as a random stranger in Sophie's life 

Season 3? No. Sadly this got cancelled with a couple of cliffhangers that are not going to be resolved. This sucks 

Justice League: Throne of Atlantis

Better than the live action Aquaman movie 

What is it about?
The Atlanteans are about to launch war and it's up to the Justice League and Aquaman (his origin story) to stop them

The Good
For 72 minutes they manage to cram a lot of backstory for Aquaman
Action is always fast paced 
Everyone has their time to shine

The Bad
Not enough of the Justice League. Mostly focus on the people of Atlantis 

The Ugly
Nothing much

After Credits: Yes 

Verdict: Well so far all the movies are great. Might as well continue on 

Family Guy Season 21

This show keeps on chugging 

What new? Family guy is always been situational so this season is more focus on Lois and Peter with the couple of episodes focusing on Meg 

Do I still like it: Actually I do. Family guy is one of those shows where you don't expect what is going to happen and in the end you just enjoy the show 

Favorite Characters: Peter, Stewie, Brian, Lois, Meg and Chris in order 

Season 22: Yup. I think this show will be like the Simpsons. It won't end 

Son of Batman

Art style has improved 

What is it about?
Batman finds out that he has a son from the League of Assassins 

The Good
Storyline is straight to the point 
Action is fast paced 
There are some funny moments 

The Bad 
Some of these scene are not logical even for cartoon standard 

The Ugly
Nothing much

Verdict: Not a bad movie, one of the better Batman cartoons 

Based on a True Story

This is when True Crime gets overboard

Premise: A couple who is having financial issues decide to do a true crime podcast when they discover their plumber is a notorious serial killer.

I always wonder: Who profits when someone else makes a killing. This show has an interesting premise but the amount of people who loves true crime podcast is scary 

A lot of daydreaming: There are daydreaming sequences and then there are not. But you won't know until someone snaps out of it 

Season 2? Yup, a lot of unanswered questions. So hopefully there is a season 2

Cruis'n Exocita

Another generic N64 racing game

Another game, another janky racing by the Nintendo 64. Well this game is somewhat enjoyable. The only thing I can say that gaming in the 64-bit era needs a lot of work. The psychics are too clunky. So controlling the car is like controlling a brick. This game is fun though. I still don't understand why old games require a timer since we bought the game to play. Probably just for added tension. I give this game a C-Rank.

Justice League: War

This movie is better than the life action version 

What is it about?
An invasion is coming and a group of heroes need to team up together. This is basically an origin story 

The Good 
This movie takes place after the first movie (Flashpoint) and yet nobody seems to know anyone here. 
The action is brutal. Really the cartoon is not meant for kids 
Everyone has their own time to shine and it ends with a super team up at the end

The Bad
You need to have some basic understanding on who are the superheroes since they is no backstory on why they are there. 
Darkside is powerful but a little too powerful which makes the other superheroes seem weak 

The Ugly 
Nothing much. 

After Credits: Yes is sets up the next movie Justice League: Throne of Atlantis 

Verdict: It's a great movie if you love DC superheroes. A must watch

So Help Me Todd

A lawyer show with a twist 

Premise: Todd is the youngest son of Margaret Wright, a lawyer in a prestigious law firm. He is down on his luck so Margaret hired him to be a Private Investigator of her cases. The rest is history 

Funny: This show is incredibly witty. The chemistry between Marcia and Skyler (the actors who play the characters) make you believe they are actually mom and son. Plus the comedic timing in this just lands perfectly. The mom is also not a tech genius so it is funny to see her navigate technology

Arcs: There are a couple of story threads. There is one unsolved issue.  A couple of love interests and the family Wright which is also a big part of the story

Season 2: yes is confirmed but due to the actors strike not sure when we are going to get that.  So just watch season 1 again 

What Remains of Edith Finch

I've heard a lot of good things about What Remains of Edith Finch but when I booted the game up I didn't expect it to be what it is. Basically you play as Edith Finch the last generation of the Finch family. You mom past away and you are going back home to find out about your entire family. That's the premise of this game. You are basically just walking from one point to the next point and stopping along the way to listen to the story. Between the journey you discover all the Finch generations and what happen that cause them their demise 

This game plays more like an interactive story rather than a usual game. The text pop out on screen so you can see them while going to your intended destination. The only action is the shoulder button and joystick where you press to open and push doors. There are also some action between in. What makes this game unique is that each stage that you encounter it jumps into a different genre of game. There is one where you fly a kite, there is another where you play as a knight conquering a kingdom and there is one that is in a style of a comic to name a few. Each of the sections last around 20 minutes and you move on to your next path. You are rarely at a lost here since the game is as linear as they come.

As for the story. It is sad and touching at the same time. To see all your past generations die as a result of some freak accident and there is many things left unsaid is sad. Makes you think that you need to reconciled with your own family if there is any unfinished business you have. I won't spoil the ending but this game should be played by everyone since there a little to no learning curve here. The controls are simplistic, the gameplay is short (less than 2 hours but I took 3 days to finish it) and the story is very engaging. Overall I gave this game an S Rank. Probably will be in my game of the year. 

Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox

Thus starts 1 of 16 movies of the DC Animated Movie Universe 

What is it about?
The Flash changed the future which cause a ripple effect throughout time 

The Good
This movie is better than the 2023 Flash live action movie 
The characters have their time to shine
The action is fast paced and jam packed with a lot of death. This cartoon is so not for kids 

The Bad
Due this is based on the Flashpoint comic. They are trying to cram a lot of info in 90 minutes.
We didn't get to see Batman and the Joker fight 

The Ugly 
Nothing. This is a perfect interpretation of the comic 

After Credits: Yes... sets up the next movie Justice League: War

Verdict: If you love DC movie, a must watch

Silo

One of the best shows I've watched this year

'

Premise: In the distant future (140 years in). A group of 10,000+ people live in 144 story underground silo. There are no history on what happened before 140 years since it was deleted which makes a couple people question their existence 

There are 4 rules: No items after 140 years are allowed to be kept, no sort of lift system, no magnifying devices of any sort and the main rule if you say "if you want to go out" it is basically your death sentence  

This is a murder mystery: The first 4 episodes is to set up the characters and after that the story gets underway and each episodes end with you wanting to watch what happens next 

Season 2? Confirmed. They shot it halfway before the actors strike. Which is good since there is more questions than answers and the end of episode 10

No Hard Feelings

Did you know this is Jennifer Lawrence first comedic role

What is it about?
Parents of an awkward child ask someone to sleep with them in order to get a car

The Good
This movie is funny is some moments 
Is not a typical romantic comedy 

The Bad
The movie takes a while to set up the premise. So we only get a montage of them having fun. I would love to see more interaction with the couple
We didn't get to see what happens in the end. It's an okay ending but there is no what happens next 

The Ugly 
Kids nowadays are scary with their phones and pronouns and the ability to say something that will always be misinterpreted 

After Credits: No 

Verdict: If you like a good laugh, you should watch this

Quantum Leap

They remade the old show back 

What is it about: Dr Ben Song travels back in time and everytime he leaps he will end up in someone body. The only way he can leap out is to solve whatever problem the person has 

Did they touch on the original show: Yeap, they also change a lot of stuff due to it being the future and all. So he leaps are more random and can happen anywhere 

This season: There is a reason why he leap but you won't know until the 3 last episode 

Ending: The close the tread but we didn't get a satisfying ending. Good news is there is a season 2 

Carmageddon 64

The PC port is better

Well another game which is barely serviceable. It not the same as the pc port even though a lot of mechanics are there. I don't know why the controls on the N64 feels like I'm driving a brick. If you push too much on the analogue you are going to hit the wall. Again racing games are the only saving grace here. This game is so-so I guess. Overall I gave this a C-Rank. Not that great but I did played it so it counts. Technically 

California Speed

Well I need to finish my obligatory retro games. I tell you that the Nintendo 64 console is a weird one. Games don't look great. They control terribly and for some reason most of the sucks. But there is one genre that is at least playable which is racing game. California Speed is a generic racing game. There are a lot of different type of cars. The tracks are long and interesting enough. The controls are clunky but its okay. Overall in 98 it would be the bomb now it just meh. Overall is it a B-Rank. 

Fast X

I am not kidding that this movie is very enjoyable 

What is it about?
The Fast family has met their match and there is nothing they can do to stop it 

The Good
Mindless car action. These are not just defy physics. They also defy cars itself.
This is basically the avengers infinity war of the movie 
Everyone has their time to shine even if its for 5 minutes 
Jason Momoa as the Joker. Well he plays a Joker like character in this movie

The Bad
I know everything has to relate but to get this plot from Fast 5 is a stretch 
What are they actually? Are they like an elite force of car fighting superheroes. I'm so confused.

The Ugly
It ends with a cliffhanger to all parts, and I know there 2 more movies to complete this trilogy so I am going to bet that how they get out of all their mess is just going to be batshit crazy 

After Credits: Yup, a return of a favorite character

Verdict: If you want mindless   action, you need to go watch this. It is fun. Can't wait for the next one 

FBI Most Wanted S4

Among all the FBI this is the most fun 

Why is it fun: Because they try to be funny when they have the time. It not all serious world ending stuff here

People: People do bad things and worse they can leave scars on your that will haunt you for the rest of your life. This is basically the theme of this season 

Question? I do wonder how do people who have these are real jobs get by, because sometimes it is traumatic 

Cliffhanger: Nope, well yes but nothing to serious 

Elemental

A story about following your dreams 

What is it about?
In a city of elements. A fire girl is about to discover that her potential lies somewhere else

The Good
This movie is a fun watch
There are funny moments in the movie 
In away this movie is about race and how you have to stay in your lane just because you are specific type of person

The Bad
Nothing much. The plot is very straightforward 

The Ugly

Nope. A perfect movie in my book

Verdict: This is a great movie, a must watch for everyone 

Ted Lasso S3

You can do anything if you only believe 

The final season: The challenge is to try to be the worse team in the Premier League 

The Lasso Way: No matter how bleak your life seems. Always be kind and believe in yourself 

Best characters: Roy Kent is so funny

Last season: This is the last season and there are no new season in the horizon. So a perfect ending to a 3 season series 

Corner Office

A movie that left me with more questions than answers

What is it about?
A man called Orson start his first day at a new office and he found a corner office that only he can see.

The Good
The story is told in a third person perspective
Once you understand the mystery you want to know what happens next

The Bad
You actually won't understand the movie until the end. Why does this happen. The ending was to abrupt

You don't understand the movie but you want to know where this is going

The Ugly
They didn't explain anything about anything. In the end this movie is about a his inner mind? I don't know.

Verdict: If you want to know what is the corner office. Then yes, you should watch this. It is interesting. If not, just avoid it
